[It's very rare that Rose graces the network in Wonderland, only having appeared once since she arrived here. That in and of itself makes this particular video rather curious. The subject at hand, likely one that's playing on everyone's mind but has Rose looking more than a little unsettled, despite her attempts to play at casual.
Clearly, she thinks the best way to deal right now, is to attempt to overdose on sugar; A plate piled high with an assortment of pastries, appearing in the corner of the shot.]
So... That whole thing with the Wonderland that wasn't really Wonderland?
[Her eyes narrow, teeth running over her lower lip as she carefully considers what she wants to say before giving it voice.]
We're all in agreement that it didn't really mean anything, right? It was just some, fake, alternate... you know, thing?
[She's obviously reaching but all this 'sciencey crap' is way outside of Rose's wheelhouse.]
Another one of Wonderland's stupid little mind games. [The unmistakable air of somebody trying to convince herself.
Rose breaks off a large chunk of a donut and pops it into her mouth, a flicker of doubt creeping in as she chews slowly.]
Right?

video;
This other guy said it had something to do with dead butterflies. [That is not at all what Cisco said, Rose.] It might happen but it's one of like, a billion possibilities.
[By which she means an infinite number of possibilities but ya know. To Rose. A Billion sounds like a lot.]
video;
[Dipper might not have known Rose long enough to understand Rose logic, but he's an expert in translating Mabel's interpretations of things, so he has a leg up.]
That's not exactly how I'd put it, though knowing what'll happen makes it way less likely it will. Unless they knew it would happen and that's why it did. Hard to say.
video;
[She thinks. She's pretty sure that was the term who used.
Don't ever tell Rose that's how you translate Rose!Logic, Dipper.]
Wait so... Experiencing it in those dreams could be what makes it, not happen? [She could work with this! Well, depending on what people saw in their dreams.
And by people she means Lucifer.]
But how could they know what will happen? Nobody knows what's going to happen. That's like saying that fate is real. It means that everything you do is pointless and I don't buy that.
video;
[Dipper has a weird life.]
Our choices do matter, so knowing the future, or a possible future, can make it not happen. But it can also end up all Greek Tragedy and the actions you take to make that future not happen are what enable it into happening. So it's... kind of tricky? Messing with time travel is really awkward and dangerous.
video;
Sure... Okay.
[Not even going to 'that's impossible' him at this point.]
So by like... going out of my way to not end up with somebody, I could make it so I actually end up with them? [Let that. Just sink in. Annnd cue laughter.] Yeah, okay, that's never going to happen.
video;
[Oedipus in one sentence. You're welcome.]
Or in this case, I don't know. We're so busy trying to stop the White Queen from taking over that something else really bad happens? It's not an exact science.
video;
What are they teaching you in your school back home?! [And people judged her education. At least it didn't involve patricide and incest!]
I don't hate the White Queen so much as I don't want her reign to come with a side of amnesia. Wonderland seemed to suck less with her, but none of it was real.
video;
[Dipper just reads a lot.]
Yeah. I'm pretty sure we can't get one without the other, though. The only reason things didn't suck is that no one could remember not to be happy.
[Except his other Wonderland self, apparently, who wasn't happy even without his memories.]
video;
A Moroi friend with some serious skills in the compulsion department.]
So you read a book about incest... by choice? [And people thought Rose was strange.]
Couldn't remember they wanted to leave, sure, but if people were still dying every other week, they wouldn't have been that happy.
video;
People don't die every event. Some of them are fun. Remember wizard school? Wizard school was awesome. I'm not saying it's worth it, but it's not even close to the worst thing about this place.
video;
And incest. [I mean. She's not wrong. Just, entirely missing the point.]
Okay one event, does not cancel out all the others. [She was going to make a comment about being turned into a child isn't all that fun but I rolled the die and apparently the die care about Dipper's feelings.]
