[It's very rare that Rose graces the network in Wonderland, only having appeared once since she arrived here. That in and of itself makes this particular video rather curious. The subject at hand, likely one that's playing on everyone's mind but has Rose looking more than a little unsettled, despite her attempts to play at casual.

Clearly, she thinks the best way to deal right now, is to attempt to overdose on sugar; A plate piled high with an assortment of pastries, appearing in the corner of the shot.]

So... That whole thing with the Wonderland that wasn't really Wonderland?

[Her eyes narrow, teeth running over her lower lip as she carefully considers what she wants to say before giving it voice.]

We're all in agreement that it didn't really mean anything, right? It was just some, fake, alternate... you know, thing?

[She's obviously reaching but all this 'sciencey crap' is way outside of Rose's wheelhouse.]

Another one of Wonderland's stupid little mind games. [The unmistakable air of somebody trying to convince herself.

Rose breaks off a large chunk of a donut and pops it into her mouth, a flicker of doubt creeping in as she chews slowly.]

She automatically goes to reject the offer, only instead of simply saying 'No', Rose silently concedes that the fact he was even offering, deserved a little more than that.]

Fair enough. [He grins, allowing her the drop of the whole thing. Doesn't really matter anyway. Probably. Maybe. Hopefully.]

[See, Cisco. The key is putting it into terms that Rose can understand. Now if you'd somehow managed to make an analogy that had something to do with fighting? She totally would have been on board.

Rose. [Offering up a half grin. She doesn't often make a good enough impression for people want to exchange names so this is... kind of nice for her.] So how'd you get to be so smart anyway, Cisco?

[He'll figure it out eventually, don't worry, Rose.]

I guess by being the nerdiest of nerds? [He shrugs, a bit uncertain.] I'm actually a mechanical engineer, but I read a lot.

Hmph. [She nods, like she has even the vaguest idea what that even means.]

And what's a mechanical engineer, do exactly?

Basically? I'm the gadget guy in your summer blockbuster action flicks. [Far more complicated than that, really, but it's the general gist?!]

Sure. Okay. [Rose doesn't... watch a lot of movies. But when she does they're usually action so, that helps?]

So that makes you the guy who make all the cool stuff for the badass hero type, right?

Yeah, pretty much. [Pretty much exactly.]

Could you make me cool stuff? [What?! She's a badass hero type!

That said she probably wouldn't know how to use the cool stuff but it sounded fun.]

Possibly. [He smirks.] Got something in mind?

Well, I don't do guns so... [She considers them cheating. It's a whole thing.] Do you do armor?

I haven't before, but I definitely could look into it. [He grins. He does love the idea of a new project, especially something new he's never done before.]

[Okay. Rose may have an all new appreciation for the gadget guys of the world.]

Nice. [Her grin growing as the wheels in her head start turning.] But it'd have to be something that wouldn't restrict my movement or slow me down in any way. I'm used to fighting things way stronger and faster than me.

[Cisco can't help the grin that rolls across his face at those specifications.] Don't worry, I'll account for flexibility. I haven't made armor, exactly, but I do have experience with making pretty durable clothing. I'll just have to adjust some things for actual factual proper armor. [He's already got ideas starting to spin.]

[ Bless. She just thinks he's geeking out. ]

Cool. [Well done Cisco, you're one of the few people to pull a genuine smile out of Rose.]

I mean, it doesn't have to be bulletproof or anything. Most of the crap we deal with here doesn't kill you with a gun but anything would be a step up from fighting in jeans and a t-shirt.

[Plus. She kind of wants to look BAMF okay.]

I'm gonna think on this, and I'll catch back up with you when I have some m,so kid ideas in mind. [Yessss, new project to focus on, he is so not complaining. Lord knows he needs to keep himself busy.]

[And little does Cisco know, but this is probably the first time anyone has ever really done anything for her, let alone anything so big so there's no hiding the smile that plays across her lips.]

Sure. [A beat.] Or ya know, just any time you want to discuss something other than butterfly wings.

[He grins.] No more butterflies, promise.
