Wonderland's worst feature are its events.

That's a pretty common thought, right? Only this place doesn't usually come up with events on its own. They're all just baggage it dredges up from our own worlds. When you look at it that way you could probably even make a case for Wonderland itself being pretty decent.

So here's a question: You've got the choice, go back to where you left off, or stay in Wonderland for good. Which one do you pick, and why?

[That did get pause from Newt.]

I've had the closets mentioned to me, but none mentioned they could be used to bring living beings to this place. Though that does explain the gentleman I met being chased by a bear.

Such varied creatures, and yet in looking now I can barely find a single being that seems to be native to this place.

[Which confused him and likely would never stop confusing him.]

My closest... companion, I suppose that's the right word for it. He's a bowtruckle. I had a tree of them, but one of them rather chose me as his tree.

As in the book? I admit, it might be amazing to try and see, but I doubt I would survive the incident all things considered.

Oh. Not many understand the creatures of the wizarding world. What era might I ask are you from? I've met others but not from my own.

As for bowtruckles, they are rather like tree spirits, in that they protect the tree and it's inhabitants. Or in the case of Pickett, hiding under my lapel and making commentary when it suits him.

You mention the biggest fears. Have such creatures been part of the events here?
