[Today’s little network post opens with the camera pointed toward a festive little booth outside the mansion. Its purpose seems clear enough, but just in case you don’t get it, don’t fret! Because here is a handsome robot to turn the camera onto his face and explain it to you!]

Hello beauties and gentlebeauties! As you are all probably aware, today is Valentine’s day! For those who may not be in the know, it is a holiday devoted to love and the expression of love! Pink and red hearts, delicious chocolates, heartfelt confessions, secret passions; today is the day for it all!

[Here he adjusts the device so it is sitting on the booth and you can see his outfit clearly, as he props up his chin with his hands and flashes the camera a coquettish grin.]

Now, some of us have a special someone to spend this beautiful day with, and that is wonderful! For those of Wonderland who aren’t so lucky and feeling down about not getting that special Valentine’s Day kiss- never fear, for your favorite star is here! Come on down to the gardens and, if the price is right, you’ll get to experience these luscious lips for yourself~!

[He’s certainly put on a shiny red lipstick for the occasion…]

The price is, of course, anything Valetine’s day themed that you think I will like! There’s no currency here, so regular money just won’t do darlings! Impress me with something really extravagant, and your kiss may be extra special!

[He blows a kiss for the camera and it switches off.]

((ooc: Feel free to respond to this post on the network, run into Mettaton in the gardens, or do both! His default kiss is going to be a chaste kiss on the cheek or lips depending on how your character wants and the thread goes, but if you want ~something more~, feel free to pm me or hit me up on plurk and we can hash it out! [Mettaton laughs. A robot that wants the whole package! He can relate.]

An excellent choice, my friend.

[He reaches out his hands and cups what he presumes could be described as Legion's head. There's a moments deliberation as he considers where to plant his kiss but he decides on one of the flaps around the light, leaning forward and gently pressing his lips to their armor. It occurs to him in the few seconds he lingers there that he's not sure Legion can feel things like he feels them. He wonders what the stimulus translates to as he pulls away, smiling proudly at the red lipstick mark left over.]

And now, for the second course!

[He lets go of Legion's "face" and steps back from the booth, giving himself plenty of space to begin his transformation. It's a matter of seconds as his body rearranges itself and there's a small flash light and puff of smoke as he switches to his box form.

He stands before them proudly.]

First things first though- what do you think?

(Though parts such as their hands and feet are more sensitive, the mobile flaps of armor surrounding their optic sense little in the way of tactile sensation. It is likely they will examine the making left behind later, to better understand what occurred.)

"Acknowl-"(It dissolves into chatter.)

(Legion stumbles back, headflaps flaring in reaction to Mettaton's abrupt change of forms.)

"I was not aware such a transformation was possible."

[Mettaton laughs, his voice much more mechanic in nature as he gives Legion a little spin so they can see his entire box body.]

I don't mention this form of mine all that often nowadays since gaining my EX one, but this was the one I was originally built in! I also have a third form! I don't bring it out that often either.

[Not unless he, or someone he cares about, is in extreme danger.]

(They watch, unsure of how Mettaton managed such a transformation, or how he manages to balance in such a topheavy form.)

[Mettaton takes that as his cue to wheel himself forward. He's only 6 feet tall now, and so shorter than Legion, but he reaches up and puts his hands on the back of what could be considered the taller robot's neck and pulls them down a little and extends himself on his wheel to meet them in the middle.

When Legion's plating meets the top of Mettaton's rectangular body the monster lets out a small electrical pulse, creating a small arc of electricity that harmlessly connects them together for just a moment. There's also the low sense of magic there, inherent in all of Mettaton's close interactions due to him being a Monster.

Once again he wonders if Legion will sense the magic. Probably not. He also wonders if the electricity will translate into anything for his fellow robot. He pulls away after a second of connection, this box face lighting up in a "smile".]

Happy Valentine's day, Legion! You got two kisses, you lucky bot you~!

(Legion's flaps flutter a bit when Mettaton pulls them down, but they don't fight it.

It is what they desired.

They jerk, chattering briefly, the spark of electricity an entirely unexpected expression of affection. They did not consider this method of kissing.

They have no sensors capable of registering the presence of magic.)

Acknowledged. (They straighten.)

We appreciate your willingness to demonstrate this for us.

[The chattering is such an interesting part of knowing Legion. He wonders if one day it will ever make sense to him or if it would just continue to be this. He also wonders if Mini would understand them instantly.]

Oh it was nothing! I enjoyed it quite a bit! Even if this form isn't my preference for day to day life, I still miss it sometimes.

[It was, after all, his first experience with a physical body all his own.]
