[Today’s little network post opens with the camera pointed toward a festive little booth outside the mansion. Its purpose seems clear enough, but just in case you don’t get it, don’t fret! Because here is a handsome robot to turn the camera onto his face and explain it to you!]

Hello beauties and gentlebeauties! As you are all probably aware, today is Valentine’s day! For those who may not be in the know, it is a holiday devoted to love and the expression of love! Pink and red hearts, delicious chocolates, heartfelt confessions, secret passions; today is the day for it all!

[Here he adjusts the device so it is sitting on the booth and you can see his outfit clearly, as he props up his chin with his hands and flashes the camera a coquettish grin.]

Now, some of us have a special someone to spend this beautiful day with, and that is wonderful! For those of Wonderland who aren’t so lucky and feeling down about not getting that special Valentine’s Day kiss- never fear, for your favorite star is here! Come on down to the gardens and, if the price is right, you’ll get to experience these luscious lips for yourself~!

[He’s certainly put on a shiny red lipstick for the occasion…]

The price is, of course, anything Valetine’s day themed that you think I will like! There’s no currency here, so regular money just won’t do darlings! Impress me with something really extravagant, and your kiss may be extra special!

When they spot the aforementioned 'Kissing Booth', they stare.)

[Mettaton has been making sure his little booth is picture perfect, as well as rapidly and wildly outing people on Frisk's relationship post to pass the time. When he looks up and sees his fellow robot he lets out a cry of delight.]

Why is that? Is it because you don't have lips? I can assure you that you can still find ways to kiss someone; I have experience with that.

One time I put a couple of rubber chickens into Fenrir's exhaust just to see what it sounded like and I forgot about it for a week. Then I remembered but pretended to forget because the kids liked it.

[ Well, I mean, sure, it's totally silly, but...

Who can resist the once-a-year opportunity to give a robot star in a dress a Valentine, smooch or no smooch?

So Coraline hurries to the kids' activity room to quickly cobble together valentines- lots of roll on silvery glitter glue on hot pink posterboard, cut into a plump oversized heart shape is an absolute must, but after that she's a little stuck on what to add...some quickly doodled lacy loops around the edges and a couple of stickers that look like conversation hearts candies and pairs of lips. She finds a microphone somewhere among the assorted stickers, and a director's clapboard, and a pair of star-shaped shades, and adds those too.

Mettaton is the Loveliest Star! She declares in bold black sharpie lettering.

XOXO from your #1 fan, Coraline Jones Her name is signed with a flourish, and then she's throwing on her coat off to present him with her declaration of adoration in the gardens, snagging a chocolate cupcake along the way to munch on.]

[Mettaton has been up to no good, rapidly texting and video chatting various people in Wonderland over the couples post, but he's been paying attention to anyone walking up as well. So when he looks up and sees the illustrious Coraline Jones making her way over he smiles and puts the device down.]

Well hello, Coraline! Come to spend some time with me on this beautiful Valentine's day?

[ She approaches with the heart behind her back, trying to walk at a too-cool casual stroll and a little surprised that there isn't a line or anything.

Certainly she can't be the only one curious if Mettaton's actually giving out kisses? ]

[ She announces, flouncing up to the booth in her glow-in-the-dark cat boots Max got her for Christmas.]

[Mettaton lets out a joyous laugh, standing up from his seat at the booth.]

[Anything Valentine's related, you say? Dorian's got you covered.]

[He approaches the booth, dressed in a tuxedo that is neither dated nor modern, carrying a box of chocolates and a bouquet of roses with a lovely vintage card attached to it. He sets the gifts on the counter and smiles at the robot.]

Well, well, well! Looks like I'm not the only one all dolled up for the holiday. Happy Valentine's, my friend!

[Mettaton looks positively thrilled to see Dorian, especially dressed like that. He even lets out a pleased gasp of surprise at the card which, while vintage, is extremely adorable.]

My dear Dorian, you look positively radiant in this outfit of yours! Happy Valentine's day to you too!

[He sets the gifts aside and gives the man a cheeky grin.]

So far you've been the only one to actually follow the rules of this little booth. Most people here don't seem to be very sporting.

[Dorian chuckles at the robot's response.]

Why thank you! It's not that hard to get something sweet for you, is it?

[He gently leans on the booth, subtly expecting his kiss at any moment.] Has anyone else given you anything at all?

[Sans is actually just out here minding his own business, running his hotdog stand. He'd actually been watching Mettaton set the whole thing up for awhile and was sort of curious as to where the whole thing was going. Then he saw the actual sign and had to stifle a laugh.]

[He checks the network and then has to stifle even more laughter. Wow. Of course Mettaton would go all out for Valentine's. Kissing, huh? Not exactly something that skeletons have any expertise in--but what Sans does have expertise in is comedy. He just happens to have a few bags of off-brand Hershey's Kisses for exactly this sort of occasion.]

[Sans waits until Mettaton doesn't have any kissing customers, then starts surreptitiously chucking Kisses toward his booth. He's aiming to try and bounce one off of Mettaton's perfectly coiffed hair.]

[Mettaton had been vaguely aware of Sans's presence as he set up his booth, but hadn't given the skeleton much thought. He'd been too intent on making sure everything looked perfect before posting to the Network his plans.

He doesn't notice the flying candy right away, having become engrossed in Frisk's shipping chart and telling them about the various couples he knows of, but eventually a few make it to the top of his booth. He glances sidelong to the ones that rest there, vaguely confused. Did he put those there? He doesn't remember. He takes them and puts them in his booth all the same.

It's another minute or so later when one finally hits Mettaton and he looks up, startled. He looks around for the source and his eyes fall on a certain skeleton manning his booth a little ways off in the garden. Mettaton gives a small grin.]

Well well well. Sans. I should have guessed.

[It's sort of incredible how long it takes, which just makes it so much more worth it when Mettaton finally spots him. He's even holding one of the offending Kisses. Instead of doing the thing normal people would do and trying to hide it, he just chucks it straight at Mettaton's face.]

i figured you needed more kisses over there. your line seems to be dying down. can't have that, can we?
