We're already in some magical land that makes our dreams come true - mostly the bad ones - so let's think about the impossible some more.

[Leonard may be calling it "impossible" mostly to heckle one specific Brit, given he's travelled through time himself, but maybe it will also flush out other time travellers. May be interesting.]

If you could travel to any point in history, where and when would you go, and why?

Also, if you could travel to any point in your own personal history, your lifetime... Same questions.

Would you try to change anything?

Without you, I'd not have lived through even a day of juvie. But after that, you were still good to have around.

[There is no way he can imagine what his life would have been like without Mick, because he simply wouldn't have been alive. He doesn't want to imagine it either.]

I was always too driven to enjoy the moment, I guess. But looking back, yeah. You made me happy. Hope you know that.

You'd have lived, you were smart and cunning, you could have survived anything.

[Mick always had his back though, he always had to have his back, he was so focused on one thing, he usually missed the others. Like, you know, a fist flying towards him.]

I always knew, dummy. It was all over your face, how much you liked me. I never had any doubt.

Last I checked, smart and cunning doesn't help against shivs. [Actually, in some cases it does.

Leonard rolls his eyes at that, but he also finally turns on his side to face Mick, putting a hand down on the left side of his chest, roughly above his heart.]

I ain't any good with this kinda talk.

We don't gotta talk, partner. I get it. I always got it. I know where we stand, for a while it was trickier but I get it now.

[He smiles faintly and reaches out, touching Leonard's face lightly before pulling away.]

You want to go get drunk instead?

[For a small moments, there's a touch of lips against lips and then Leonard is on his feet and halfway across the room already, picking up his gun on the way.

He likes his drinks cold.]
