If you could travel to any point in history, where and when would you go, and why?

Also, if you could travel to any point in your own personal history, your lifetime... Same questions.

Would you try to change anything?

Trying to change your past never works out. You just end up wasting your afternoon,
getting a guy fired because of all the anomalies you've caused, accidentally making high fives come into being a few centuries too early, and making your sister sad until you put everything back the way it was anyway.

But the sightseeing part is cool. And future gladiator battles are both awesome and terrifying.

I like where I am in our world's history. I'm not too interested in going back.

( the world was much harsher to people like iris, as both a woman and someone who is black and proud of it. so many romanticize the past far too much. of course, there's always the future, but... ) I don't think I'd change anything even if I had the power to.

I'm sure. Just always difficult to know what the consequences would be or if it would even change what you wanted to change.

But it can seem worth the risk.

I would wanna live in the future, just a little while, to see what it's like. All the new cool inventions and stuff? Or maybe just go back to the event where it was Hogwarts here, and stay there forever as a witch.

...Or, well, probably not. I'd probably go back home to the time before we moved, when I knew all my friends and my mom wasn't cranky about the new flat all the time.

Any future I've ever seen has been wildly depressing, so I hope you'd find something better. But the Hogwarts event, yeah? I've heard a lot of people mention that.
