Finally a way to find me a man.

If it's anything like the future I've seen, I'm not too gung-ho over getting there.

Finding men is easy. Finding the right one - that's the challenge. So you're a bear looking for love. Does the guy have to be as sweet as honey?

Given that a lot of my life is about making a better future, that's a depressing thing to hear. Do I want to know?

Going by factual evidence, really not.

War-torn world, giant killer machines. Few people still fighting for freedom or at least survival. That's what our mission was about. Making a better future.

Think I've said it already, but the plan was to take out the man responsible for the downfall. Immortal megalomaniac.

It just so happens that her law enforcement agencies tend to be shady and corrupt. Well, shadier and more corrupt. And SHIELD has already pissed people off in Wonderland. Heh. ]

Prestigious career you got there. Although in this place, I'd be more surprised meeting a desk clerk.

[ She wants to say that her career hasn't been prestigious at all. She'd only worked at SHIELD for a couple of years, and had been mostly nameless. At the CIA, she'd been a SHIELD carryover, moving through the ranks through working her ass off while trying to prove herself and prove that she wasn't a traitor. Only to end up a traitor. ]

Wonderland doesn't seem to like common people.

Not for the most part, no. But what's common anyway? Guess there are places out there where being a zombie hunter is pretty common place.

Not as if those are opposite concepts. Look at Robin Hood.

But mostly, time travel sounded like interesting opportunities.

We have a lot of law enforcement here, and we also have super-powered people. Avengers. The devil. We had a vampire detective... So are we going by pre-Wonderland normal or Wonderland normal?
