[A girl with braided brown hair and grey eyes appears on screen. In the background is the stables, so she's facing the mansion. She arrived last night, woke up nearly drowning in the pool and pulled herself out. This isn't like any arena she's ever seen. There's no precedent for this. Usually you're out in the open, not in a gigantic mansion. She assumed, for awhile, that they'd just changed everything on her, or captured her, took her to the Capitol to kill her in private. Or torture her.

But she was able to break out too easily. She didn't see any Peacekeepers and if she was as dangerous as Snow thought, she knew she would've been chained to something. So she's been kidnapped by someone else. She has no idea how they did it-- how they intercepted her between the time she started moving toward the arena and before she got there. She doesn't understand it. She can't even imagine what's happening to her family while she's here. To Gale. To Peeta.

She needs to get out.

So, her face appears on the screen, and it's set-- determined.]

If anyone can hear me, my name is Katniss Everdeen. I'm from District 12, and I need to get back. People depend on it.

[Everyone who's responded has been so helpful-- well, maybe 'good intentioned' is a better way to put it-- that it's kind of throwing her off. What is this place that it makes people so nice to each other? She doesn't know them; they don't owe her anything.

This guy is using the voice Gale uses when he's about to kill a wounded animal. It doesn't really help.]

[That's about as detailed as she feels like getting, right now.]

[ He raises an eyebrow at her response but accepts it none the less. So she was a little cagey and obviously flighty, yet there's something about her that reminds him of Allison -- perhaps the way she's holding herself. Weird. ]

No one's gonna die - at least I don't think so, not while you're not there anyway... It's kinda like a bad Syfy movie.

[ Cue the curious look. ]

I'm Isaac, if you y'know, need any help or anything.

[You'd be cagey too if you were supposed to be in an arena fighting for your life right now. Don't judge. But wait-- have a curious look of your own.]

Syfy? [What does that even mean?]

Isaac. [She gives a short nod.]

Thanks. Could you um. Tell me where the rooms are?

Yeah - like... Nevermind. [ Don't geek out at the pretty and distressed girl, Isaac. ]

Yeah, the huge mansion - There are a bunch of rooms there, a bunch of free ones.

But uh, you might run into someone you know too... There are people here I knew from home.
