[ When Liv appears on the screen, she's in a nice off-white sweater with a hint of gold sparkle to it, full face of makeup and nervously smiling. She gives a wave, then lets out a breath she's been holding. ]

I have a confession. And some of you know. Some of you who know me don't know, and everyone else...

[ She pauses, looking down a little. Is this the right thing? Hell if she knows. It's not like she's in a place the size of Seattle. Maybe now's the time to just come clean. ]

The rest of you don't need to know but uh...at this point if someone found out by word of mouth I feel like it'd suck more, so.

My name is Liv. I've been living here since the summer. And...I'm a zombie.

[ She pauses for a beat. ]

Obviously from a different zombie world than the rest of you. I'll answer your questions now: Yes, I eat what you think I eat but the closet provides it for me. I only act like the maniac you'd expect when I'm hurt unexpectedly and then I'm super strong and just kind of...grunty. But I can help, I do help. I've saved people. I've died here. Yes, I'm technically dead right now, but I still look great?

I guess those are the hard-hitting questions. If you have any others I'll be here to answer them.

So I guess that's it. Now you all know, and I can breathe easier. Ish. Well, not breathe. Whatever, you know what I mean.

[ At least Ange doesn't seem particularly offended even before Liv corrects herself about the drug. She's heard weird enough stories and seen strange enough things that drug usage is nothing to her, really. ]

Ah.. that sucks. [ Maybe not the best thing to say to that, but Ange's not good at the whole social thing. She's trying though. In her own way. ] Although you at least turned out to be a pretty normal zombie-- well, normal by human standards instead of zombie ones, I guess. So there's an upside to it.

[ It does suck, hard, so Liv definitely won't be critical of what Ange said. Liv's probably said it herself, more than once. ]

I mean it's not the worst deal. For one, I could actually be non-functioning. But I have a job, and with the exception of a couple people, I have a good circle of friends around me. We've been working together to try and come up with a way to stop all of this somehow.

[ At least that does sound very genuine. She has little reason to wish shitty things on people she barely knows. ]

[ She pauses and her gaze drifts to the side. ]

I've lost a lot. But, as they say, the show must go on, so it's going on. I have to keep going because there are people who want to kill all humans and vice versa. It's messy.

So you got both sides to deal with? Humans that want to kill zombies and zombies that want to kill humans? That sounds like a pain in the ass.

[ Especially since Liv herself doesn't exactly sound.. well, blood thirsty or anything like that. ]

Yeah, it's a little insane. Living people are afraid of us. Makes sense because of movies and pop culture telling everyone what to expect with zombies. But we're not mindless killing machines. Well, most of us. Just like in any group, there are psychopaths.

[ To be fair, they were probably already insane before dying. ]

[ Ange won't disagree with that psychopath sentiment whatsoever. ]

They don't even bother to listen to you guys? They sounds like a bunch of dumbasses. [ Ange... Don't judge people you've never even met!! ] I wouldn't say that I'd happily start standing still and conversing with a zombie out of the blue if I'd had seen one back home, but if one talked to me, I'd at least hold off on everything for a second to see what's up.

[ Well, Ange isn't wrong. ]

I get the initial fear but when we're less 'grrr, arggh' and more 'let's reasonably discuss how we can meet the dietary need of our new niche population' the screaming terror and online forums discussing how best to kill us seem unnecessary.

[ There's a moment where she seems to briefly consider this, but then the conclusion she just reaches is-- ]

Humans are just pretty dumb. Regardless of the world they're in, apparently. [ And yes, she is very human herself. ]

[ Liv smiles a little, ducking her head. ]

Some humans are pretty okay. The humans here, for example. Just about everyone's been pretty cool about this whole thing.

I think it's since this place is gathering a bunch of weirdos. Everyone's weird to begin with, so it's pretty easy to accept other things.

[ She shrugs a little - her tone not as biting as the words would imply. It's mostly just kind of flat. ]

You're a zombie, someone else is an alien.. Then nothing is really that weird anymore.

I mean, you're not wrong. There are for sure weirder here things than I am. But still, I appreciate the response, and you being so calm about it.

[ Or at least keeping on a pokerface in most situations is. ]

[ She can't help but be curious about that specific phrasing. ]

My bodyguard back home always said that nothing ever fazes me. [ Granted, Ange doesn't think he's a very good judge of anything, but-- ] I guess we saw enough strange things that give that statement some merit.

I feel like if we're all here in Wonderland long enough, that could be true for just about everyone, considering. But it's nice to talk to someone who's just generally chill. I have about fifty messages and I'm almost afraid to look and see what they all say.

.. Yeah, guess saying you're a zombie kind of draws some attention, huh.

[ At least she's not being sarcastic about it for once. She almost sounds kind of amused. If Ange would do amused. ]

Should I leave you to check them out? Maybe some people are freaking out.

Probably. They all deserve responses, though. But maybe we'll talk again sometime?

[ This wasn't a terrible conversation, and she wouldn't hate getting to know others a bit better. ]
