o5-- you can go your own way-- [accidental video//action]
[The stream turns on to show the back of a certain young Musketeer holding a biscuit in his hand, looking down, and speaking to someone or something unseen.]
Sit. Yes, good girl! [Let's hope it's not a woman he's speaking to.
He bends down, makes a few kissy noises and straightens up, moving out of the frame. As he disappears, a husky can be seen, sitting patiently. If you're familiar with Philip, you're probably familiar with his dog, Faraday. Except she's D'Artagnan's dog now, and he's trying his best to be good to her. Really. She tilts her head as D'Artagnan swears off screen, whines at him, and stands.
D'Artagnan appears again, offering her another treat. She takes it and he scratches behind her ears. He moves offscreen again, mumbles something the microphone doesn't pick up and Faraday whines at him again, jumps around for a moment and then bolts out the door.]
Hey, hey wait! [D'Artagnan runs to the door, holding a bright tennis ball, and then runs back into the room, grabbing his device.]
Hello, yes, if you see a dog, could you please let me know? She won't hurt you or anything, she's just friendly. Her name's Faraday, but only responds to that sometimes. Thank you.
[And the feed cuts off with a blur-- most likely D'Artagnan running out the door with it. How far has she gotten? D'Artagnan has no way of knowing.]

let's do the time warp againnnn /dances
[ Ignoring the fact she's wearing a dress, but she's done plenty of fighting and traveling in her dresses so what's one climb onto a roof?
She'll just watch him climb, careful to keep an eye on where he grabs so she can mimic his motions. ]
aww yes dance party GO
He opens the window and sticks his head out, getting a good visual of what he'll be stepping out on. He comes back in, takes a deep breath and sticks a leg through, waiting until he's securely on the roof before bringing his body and then his other leg through. Thankfully, the window isn't too high, so it's not much of a stretch.
He looks around a bit and carefully moves to the side.]
Your turn!
/does macarena
There's a little bit of exhilaration because they're at probably the highest point in Wonderland, and while it isn't a ride in an airship, it's closer than she's ever been. ]
Okay, I don't think I'm going to be blown off the roof. [ She gives him a quick smile. ]
EEEEEEEYYYYYY MACARAENA
You can see almost everything from here.
[And it's hardly a new sight, because he's been up on a dragon, which affords an even better view, but it's still amazing.]
See any specks of white?
no subject
I don't think so.... [ She shields her eyes with a hand, trying to keep the sun out. ] How long have you had her, anyway?
no subject
[He's kind of embarrassed to admit it. But they'll get used to each other soon enough, he's sure.]
But I know we'll find her. Are you safe?
no subject
We will! And I'm fine. I don't think I've been this high up in a long time. [ The last time there was some fighting going on, so she much prefers this. ] You really can see everything, can't you?
[ Like how those woods just don't seem to end at all. ]
no subject
[Yes, the last time he was this high up, he nearly died. Quite a few times and quite a few different ways, actually.]
You can. It's... it's a little frightening. This place, I mean. I feel as though I ought to be frightened of it.
no subject
I feel like that, too. I think we're all a little worried, but only truly scared when something happens. [ It's hard to stay at a constant heightened state when there's days of just normal between all the madness. ] I wonder if that's the plan - give us some time to settle in and get a routine, then throw something our way to keep us on our toes.
no subject
It must be. The plan, I mean. And it's not as if all of the events are dangerous, just most of them. It's frustrating, trying to live peacefully here.
no subject
It is. I wish there was a pattern or something, a way to predict what might be coming next. That way we can prepare a little better.
no subject
[He looks around some more and sighs. He's not going to find her.]
I think I may just have to wait and let Faraday find me.
no subject
Probably. Don't worry! I'm sure she'll come right back.
[ Aerith starts her climb back through the window, managing to gracefully make it inside. Well, as graceful as one can. ]
Maybe if you just stay in your room a bit, she'll return. If anything, she'll have to eat sometime and she knows who is in charge of that.
no subject
I suppose you're right. Thank you so much for helping me look for her!
no subject
[ And she'll just give him a reassuring pat on the arm. Aerith's sure the dog will turn up soon. ]
