The database is ready. I will be distributing it on individual flash drives today.

If you have not already requested a copy, but would like one, please let me know.

[And with that posted to the network, Kirigiri is going around distributing copies of the database. Feel free to tag her with requests for a copy, with characters receiving their copies, or just as she wanders around the Mansion finding people. If your character requested a copy but you don't tag this post, no worries! Just assume she left the flash drive wherever your character told her to.]

[OOC: The database is based on Kirigiri's notes, which are available here. ~~I haven't updated it to add any information from the recent event yet (I'll be working on that this weekend), but it is all technically included in the copy she's distributing ICly.~~ Never mind, it should be up to date now.]

[Kirigiri takes a seat and greets them both quietly and separately by name. She sets a flash drive on the table, but looks at them expectantly without mentioning it.]

I'm sure I will be.

[ Picks up the flash drive, offering Kirigiri a grateful nod before plugging it into Alter Ego's laptop. The files and entries briefly flash across the screen. ]

Thank you, Kirigiri-san... Alter Ego and I will go over this information, and get back to you after we've made our own additions... at the very least, we should be able to add more information on the people we've met.

That brings me to what Alter Ego and I were able to accomplish during the event... Alter Ego, will you show Kirigiri-san the results of our network bridge?

Of course, Master! Kirigiri-san! Look, look!

[ Alter Ego's face fades out, and in its place appears a list of network posts - but they aren't any that she'd be familiar with. A header indicates them as "Mirror Network Transmissions". ]

Working together, my master and I have devised a way to spy on the mirror network!

[Kirigiri seems to perk up, unblinking as she looks over the list on the screen.]

...This is ongoing? [Or had they only managed to get access to the archive? Either way, this is pretty significant.]

[ Seeing the look of surprise on Kirigiri's face, Chihiro can't help but beam with pride. ]

There haven't been any new posts to the network since we established the bridge, but it should be ongoing, so long as the system I planted on the mirror side remains undiscovered.

To think someone like me could help to unravel these mysteries...! Isn't this exciting, Kirigiri-san?

Ehehe! Of course you can! Alter Ego, can you write a copy of these records to Kirigiri-san's flash drive?

[ Alter Ego responds in the affirmative, taking a moment to transfer the files onto the flash drive housing the database, which Chihiro hands back to Kirigiri. ]

Here you go... Alter Ego has a copy of the database, now, so I don't need this flash drive anymore.

How does this transmission work?

A mini-PC system on the mirror side receives the mirror network's transmissions, and transmits them over IR signals, which are sent through the mirror to a system on our side, which receives the signals and translates them back into audio, video, and text. I figured that if writing would show up on the mirrors, infrared signals might be able to make it through, too...

...And I was right! Ehehe!

This is quite a breakthrough. I think I may be able to add a great deal to the database with this.

It is? Oh, oh! I'm so glad! I-I did it! I was able to be brave, and do something to help everyone...!

I did it! I did it! Ehehehehe! I did iiiit~!

[Kirigiri thinks that's a little excessive, but she smiles a bit.]

Believe in yourself, Fujisaki-san.

[ All Chihiro can do is smile brightly, practically glowing. To do something that was enough to impress Kirigiri, by utilizing her talents and facing her fears - it was a dream come true. She takes some time to simply bask in this feeling for a moment. ]

[Kirigiri doesn't interrupt her. She gets up for a moment, and comes back with tea for both of them.]

[ The soft click of a teacup against the table snaps her back to reality. ]

...Eh? Oh! Oh, thank you, Kirigiri-san!

[ She takes a sip of the tea, with a pensive look beginning to appear on her face. ]

So... I was caught in the mirror world during the event...

That means my mirror self was here, right...?

[Kirigiri still has bitemarks on her arm, though they're mostly healed now.]

Oh...! W-what... what is my mirror self like, if you don't mind me asking...?

Insistent about being proving hi-er strength.

[Kirigiri almost used the masculine pronoun, but catches herself without too much of a fumble. Although she knows that Chihiro is male, she doesn't want to bring it up herself. That should be Chihiro's choice. It's just a little harder to use feminine pronouns with her Mirror because of the Mirror's behavior.]

Oh.. I-I see...

[ Chihiro isn't quite sure if Kirigiri just stuttered, or if she actually did almost use "he" to describe her mirror. She was worried that her mirror self might indeed actually present as male, especially if her mirror was intent on showing everyone that they're strong - in opposition to Chihiro's own way of dealing with her weakness. If her mirror was male, then her secret was basically out at this point. ]

I... I'm really sorry if my mirror hurt you, or anyone... or c-caused trouble..
