[ 001 | Video ]
[ For a moment all that's heard is some grunting and probably a few obscene curses. He's still trying to figure the phone out, but that's because he's not familiar with it. Technology isn't Benny's strong suit in the slightest. He had a flip phone when him and Dean were talking, but he ditched that a long time ago. Getting anything fancier never really appealed to Benny. No need. This thing wasn't what he wanted to be shackled to at all.
Suddenly a fuzzy beard appears in frame and it's clearly speckled with spots of gray. There are a few more grunts as Benny finally arrives at the conclusion that this isn't just your run of the mill phone. Then again the only phones he's familiar with are the flip ones. This one's in a whole different league and dammit if it's not pissing him off.
He clears his throat quickly and finally becomes a little more visible on the screen. When he found this damn thing in his pocket he didn't know what to expect, but maybe he could get a hold of someone who could help him out. ] I don't think this damned thing is even workin', but if anyone's out there I could sure use a nudge in the right direction. A state would greatly appreciated. This house don't look too comfortin' and I'm itchin' to get the hell outta dodge.

Re: video;
He exhales softly and smiles as big as he can. It's damn good to see him. His last memory of Dean wasn't exactly peaceful. Getting your head chopped off kind of ruined a moment even for Benny. ] Brother, it's real good to see you. I ain't goin' nowhere I can promise you that.
[ There's a short pause as Benny tilts his head. ] Sam get back to you alright? I pointed him in the right direction.
video; -> action;
But goddamn is he glad Benny's here. He can't help the way he grins back a little.]
Good to see you, too, Benny.
[He takes the stairs two at a time as he descends them, but that fullow up question has him pausing.]
Sam?
[Benny never met Sam. He frowns.]
Hang on a sec. I'll be right there.
[Before Benny can answer, the device gets switched off.
A minute later, he's down the steps exiting the mansion. It's not hard to spot Benny, not when he spent a year searching for the fuzzy bastard's frame through trees and blood and dirt.
He doesn't hesitate as he strides forward, throws his arms around Benny's shoulders in a tight hug.
He missed you, you cuddly bastard.]
ACTION
He was relieved when Dean told him he was close. He didn't wanna spend another minute alone outside this place. It wasn't exactly the most inviting home and it reminded him a little too much of the Old Man's place if he was being completely honest. Too many bad memories associated with that place that he'd rather not dig up.
The screen goes blank and Benny's left on his own for a few minutes. He shifts and turns to get a better look at his surroundings. Dark ain't what's spooking him though if he's being honest. It's what could possibly be out there. He didn't know what kinda place this was and he wasn't itching to meet the locals.
There he is. Bow legged and slouchy. He's pretty damn happy to see him and he doesn't hesitate to lift his arms and throw them around Dean in return. He gives Dean a hard pat on the back before he's pulling back to look his friend in the eyes. ] You gonna tell me where the hell I am or am I supposed to be guessin'? I gotta warn you I'm real bad at this game, brother.
ACTION
In the meantime, he can't help his wide, pleased grin as Benny looks him over. He grasps the vampire firmly by the shoulders, thumps his hand against one of them even because he can't not. God damn he missed Benny. It's nice to have someone to fight by his side again, someone he knows without a doubt he can absolutely trust. Someone who knows about everything, about Cas and Purgatory and... everything. What it was like.]
Heh, I'm not sure you'd believe me if I told you, man. Come on, let's go inside, huh? I'll get you filled in.
ACTION
Going inside doesn't sound great, but with Dean by his side it feels relatively safer than being out here. He's well aware how dangerous a constant open space can be. If Dean was living in there maybe it wasn't completely horribly.
He's already shifting out of Dean's grasp and moving to stand alongside him. His arms drop down his sides as they make their way up to the door. ] I spent fifty-one years in Purgatory, brother. Try me. [ There isn't much Benny wouldn't believe if Dean was the one telling him. ]
ACTION
Plus, the closets gave you free booze, so. That's always a perk.]
Fair enough, guess you're right there.
[He leads them up the steps and stops at the top.]
Ever heard of Wonderland?
ACTION
There's a short pause when Dean asks if he has ever heard of Wonderland. If he's talking about the same Wonderland from the stories then yeah he's heard of it. Something tells him this isn't the same one. Don't even look close. ] Yeah. Place from the storybook--[ He doesn't even finish his thought really. Benny just sighs heavily and shakes his head. ]
ACTION
It's freaking insane, isn't it?]
I know, man. I know. But you're in it. We're knee-deep in this crap, I'm talking Queen of Hearts, off with their head, rabbits, the whole nine. Turns out the bible ain't the only literature that's stupidly historically accurate. Everyone's pretty much laying low, but we're working on a way to get outta here.
ACTION
A way to get sounds good to Benny. But he's not sure what he's going back to if they do find one. Purgatory or Earth. He's not sure if Earth is a good idea honestly. He tried that and it didn't work out. Purgatory was where Benny truly belonged. ] What kinda exit plan you cookin' up, brother? If my head's gonna get taken off then I might wanna sit this one out. [ See. More jokes. It's Benny's way of saying it's okay. ]
