[ For a moment all that's heard is some grunting and probably a few obscene curses. He's still trying to figure the phone out, but that's because he's not familiar with it. Technology isn't Benny's strong suit in the slightest. He had a flip phone when him and Dean were talking, but he ditched that a long time ago. Getting anything fancier never really appealed to Benny. No need. This thing wasn't what he wanted to be shackled to at all.
Suddenly a fuzzy beard appears in frame and it's clearly speckled with spots of gray. There are a few more grunts as Benny finally arrives at the conclusion that this isn't just your run of the mill phone. Then again the only phones he's familiar with are the flip ones. This one's in a whole different league and dammit if it's not pissing him off.
He clears his throat quickly and finally becomes a little more visible on the screen. When he found this damn thing in his pocket he didn't know what to expect, but maybe he could get a hold of someone who could help him out. ] I don't think this damned thing is even workin', but if anyone's out there I could sure use a nudge in the right direction. A state would greatly appreciated. This house don't look too comfortin' and I'm itchin' to get the hell outta dodge.

Jesus Christ, this place is just pulling everyone through, isn't it? First his mom, now this? God damn, but he's glad to see the son of a bitch, glad to know he made it out of Purgatory too, even though Dean (as his ride) got a little misplaced along the way.
He pops on screen real quick, doesn't bother with introductions.]
You sit tight, okay? I'm comin'.
Re: video;
He exhales softly and smiles as big as he can. It's damn good to see him. His last memory of Dean wasn't exactly peaceful. Getting your head chopped off kind of ruined a moment even for Benny. ] Brother, it's real good to see you. I ain't goin' nowhere I can promise you that.
[ There's a short pause as Benny tilts his head. ] Sam get back to you alright? I pointed him in the right direction.
video; -> action;
But goddamn is he glad Benny's here. He can't help the way he grins back a little.]
Good to see you, too, Benny.
[He takes the stairs two at a time as he descends them, but that fullow up question has him pausing.]
Sam?
[Benny never met Sam. He frowns.]
Hang on a sec. I'll be right there.
[Before Benny can answer, the device gets switched off.
A minute later, he's down the steps exiting the mansion. It's not hard to spot Benny, not when he spent a year searching for the fuzzy bastard's frame through trees and blood and dirt.
He doesn't hesitate as he strides forward, throws his arms around Benny's shoulders in a tight hug.
He missed you, you cuddly bastard.]

[ After having herself a little break from greeting anyone in this place, she decides to hop back on the Welcome Train. It's Benny's lucky day that he's the first one she decides to break it to. ]
Most people want the bar. Fifth floor, owned by one half of the Wonder Twins.
Re: [video]
Her lack of optimism isn't exactly something he's unfamiliar with. He's not exactly the type to look on the bright side either. Maybe it's just programmed into him or something. She's talking about a bar though and it's owners. He's a little curious. ] Wonder Twins? I s'pose to know them?

Depends on what you think of as a comfort. If it's a big creepy house that likes to play mindgames, ding ding ding! You're in luck.

Welcome. I am Matthew Maule.
[If he's familiar with Dracula, he might recognize that name, his latest alias.]

He nods slowly as he does another quick scan of the outside surrounding area. He's just trying to keep on the lookout for anything. ] I'm Benny. This your house, friend?

I'm aware the mansion isn't cheerful from the outside, but it's probably still your best bet. Welcome to Wonderland. We're all stuck here.

Benny's well versed in lying to get what he wants. It's no stretch of the imagination to think others would be too. Especially over these phone things. It's only when they get up close and personal that they stop lying to him. Benny's very convincing. ] That's pretty damn optimistic. [ Oh yes. Sarcasm. ] And I thought I was doom and gloom.

[Hi there. Have a grin and a wave. See, there's someone right here that can hear and see you.]
I'm working on finding a way out. The thing is, it's not going so well.
[A pause, and she frowns.]
Or really going anywhere at all, actually. Just in circles.

Benny swallows hard and forces a smile. He's not about to let her lose that desire to get out. Dean was determined to get them out of Purgatory and he made it happen. Maybe she was just the same way. ] Circles never hurt nobody. Just means you're more prepared.

[she volunteers with a slight grimace; after all this time, the one thing Evelyn really hates telling people is they they won't be getting home any time soon.]
If you're familiar with Lewis Carroll, this is...rather a more fantastical place than America.
[She's assuming he's from across the pond, at any rate, given his voice and the inquiry about states.]
no subject
He's familiar with the whole concept, but that don't mean Benny's gonna suddenly start believing it though. He's having a helluva time accepting the fact that he's not in Purgatory anymore. ] So this ain't Purgatory?

[Who knows what's out there in the woods. There was that recent werewolf incident...]
Welcome to Wonderland. I'm sure you've already had a whole bunch of people chime in and tell you about it by now. Hell, we've even got a brochure.
no subject
There it is again. Wonderland. That just don't sound at all comforting in the slightest. This had to be some sorta joke or something. Nothing about this made sense. ] A brochure? This place must have some sorta mojo to pull me outta where I was.

[And this sums up Castiel's contribution. This is as helpful as he gets. No apologies to be had either; his social skills are not only rusty, they've been depleted by the influx of new people, most of whom are either annoying or a substantial threat to himself and/or the Winchesters.
Castiel's patience is running a bit thin.
Also? There is no recognition in hi face at all, should Benny try to spot some. He looks different than the angel who's been in Purgatory - harder, less worn down, and infinitely cleaner. Enjoy.]

Benny can help the heavy sigh that escapes him as he tries to make sense of all this crap. ] Feathers, you're lookin' very clean and sparkly these days. I thought Dean couldn't quite yank your ass outta Purgatory. I mean it's real good to see you, but what're you doin' here?
Same as with the Ruby-thread I'm SO sorry ;; I'll definitely be faster now.

[Ruby shrugs. Truth be told, it all sucks, but what are you gonna do, right? Square your shoulders and move forwards is really the only thing you can do in this place, apparently.]

He smiles and nods just a bit. His eyes go up just to give the decor currently around him a sweep. Nothing too out of the ordinary, but he's aware that things change fast. ] A tour couldn't hurt. You ain't gonna lead me off and try'n kill me are ya? That might hurt my feelings.
Sorry I'm so late with the replies, dude. Lots of RL shit ;; You okay with backtagging?
Backtagging is just fine. Don't bother me one bit.

Benny. [ He remembers, knows what you did. The sacrifice you made to get them to the end of the line. ] ... It's good to see you, man.
[ "I never got to thank you." But, that'll come later. ]
Hey-- Uh, [ He begins, as something occurs to him, his expression falling slightly. ] ... Dean doesn't know. What you did for us.
[ He'd kept it from his brother, figured it'd cause too much grief. But Sam is appreciative, forever grateful. He'd been wrong about the guy, and he'll be the first to admit it. ]
video; private;
He's a little hesitant when Sam expresses something close to joy to seeing Benny again. He never thought he'd see that boy actually be pleased to see his mug. Last conversation they had was back in Purgatory and he wasn't exactly crying over having to leave Benny behind. This was weird.
His brow raises and his head tilts when Sam brings up that Dean doesn't know. How could Dean not know? He was the one who lobbed off Benny's head in that alleyway. ] How's he not know? He cut off my head personally. He forget?
