[The explosions sends her flying backwards and her head cracks against a wall that sends sparks dancing in front of her eyes.

Rolling, Ellen pushes herself up. The phone next to her chirps and she grabs it, unwittingly turning on the video function. There's nails in her body and bruises blossoming along her skin. Scrapes and gashes seep blood. The first breath hurts and gouges into her lungs.]

So much for Paradise.

[She forces herself into a sitting position and notices the phone.]

Great, cell service in Heaven. Damn I could use a drink.

[The second deep breath hurts just as much as the first. Damn, isn't there supposed to be a happily ever after? This sucks.]

Cas, just so you know, Heaven sucks.

[Ground out through her teeth. Because, give her a reason.]

Aw, we can save the warm fuzzies for later, when you aren't so bleedy.

[ Meg's done an excellent job so far of not killing people here. Mostly out of a sense of self preservation - she's not stupid, being locked up in a prison with the self righteous outweighing the devious and shady means she would be hounded until the end of time.

She does itch for it sometimes, though. For now, she gets her jollies by tormenting others. ]

Good thing you showed up when you did. Your daughter sure has strayed far from the path of what's good and right.

[ There's a quirk of her lips as she says this. ]

I'll be just fine, sweetheart.

[She grinds her teeth. She will shoot Meg at some point.]

Don't you worry about my baby girl. She's just fine.

Lots happened here in Wonderland to your little Barbie.

[ But she's not gonna tattle. In the long run, Jo's adventures around the mansion aren't that big of a deal - it was just Meg's way to dig at Ellen a little. ]

I'm sure it'll all come out in your little family reunion. How cute.

[Ellen's smile is all teeth and malice. She's already planning holy water for Meg. Or something worse.]

Harvelles land on their feet. Like I said, she's just fine.

[ Bring it on, mama bear. She's dealt with the mansion throwing some holy water on her, what's a little more?

Granted, she wouldn't be so blasé about it when faced with it, but she can cross that bridge later. ]

Funny, always thought the saying was 'Harvelles end up sacrificed for Winchesters'. [ And she'll top that with a smile that would be considered almost friendly under different circumstances. ]

[You really wanna do this, Meg? Ellen's not nearly as nice as the Mansion. Not nearly as nice.]

The actual line is Harvelles stick by family no matter what. Know it's a hard concept for you, but I'm sure someone can explain it to you.

Is it really, because I seem to remember sticking by my family. And I didn't end up as hound chow.

[ Family to demons is obviously a totally different animal, of course, but never let it be said she didn't try to have the last word. All the time. Even when she just reduces whoever she's having a snit with into someone with such rage they just want to tear into her. ]

It's okay, everyone who gets involved with those boys ends up kicking that bucket sooner or later. The closer you are, the more violent it is. Just a natural law of life.

That something you familiar with?

[Because if Meg eventually died? Good enough for Ellen.]

[ She lifts her shoulders into a shrug, looking about as nonchalant as she can get. In reality, she's not too thrilled with dying, but she half expected it anyway. ]

Could be. Half convinced if one of those two breathe in anyone's direction it's a death sentence. [ If only it worked on their enemies half as well. ] Comes with the territory of helping them out a few times.

[ Her expression changes just the slightest, turning a little more amused, wondering if Ellen will pick up on that. Her helping out the Winchesters, being an ally. She's sure it'll make for an interesting reaction. Jo certainly hadn't been pleased. ]

[Ellen just raises her eyebrows. Oh, she'll be asking the boys about that.]

For most, I don't mind. Present company included.

Aw, now I'm filled with all sorts of fuzzy feelings.

[ Her mocking sweetness is topped with a sugar sweet smile. ]

You wanna get together, braid each other's hair a little? Can't think of a better way to bond.

[You want sweetness and light? She can do that.]

Oh, good. I have a special hair rinse that I'd love to try on you. Should make your hair nice and manageable.

[Not allergic to holy water and salt, right?]

Goody, can't wait. It's gotta be better than being forced to bleach my hair. [ Maybe not so much holy water, that would sting a little. She really needs to hit up her closet, see if she can get something to help protect herself against these Harvelles. ] You pick up lots of hair care tips from that bar you ran?

[ You know, the one that was burned to the ground and all. ]

It'll be a regular girl's night in.

[Ellen will be putting up devil's traps and other protections around her room. Eventually.]

Among other things.

[You know, all the hunter things she learned?]

I'll just pencil you in my super busy schedule.

[ She needs to figure out what room Ellen is staying in. Whether it's to try to cause trouble or to avoid it, who's to say. Her whims seem to change on a dime these days. ]

Been a blast catching up, I'm sure we'll be running into each other sooner or later.

[ And she's now done with this conversation. She wiggles her fingers at the video in a mocking wave goodbye and turns off her feed. Just one more person to add to the 'wants to kill the demon' list, no big deal or anything. ]
