[Hello Wonderland. It's been a while since Sirius' arrival but taken a while to adjust. Suits of armor, psychopaths, the world breaking into pieces. Even for a wizard that's a lot to process.

The idea of a network is brilliant, but he's not had much of a reason to use it yet. Until now.]

[Young, handsome, English and well articulated, he's sitting with an easy grace and confidence that is clearly identifiable as upper class.]

My name is Sirius Black. [Because it's only polite to introduce yourself, right? James is lurking somewhere in the background with a large red pool inner tube. The kind you might float along a water ride in.]

I'm lead to believe there is a swimming pool here. In fact, I know there is, but what I find surprising is that it is completely deserted.

Now, unless the water is poisonous, which it's not because I threw James in and he's not dead or grown a second head, I think we should fix this.

So, what I think I'm proposing, is something of a pool party.

[Do you see that glint in his eye? Bikinis are optional. He goes to sign off but quickly has a second thought and comes back to centre.]

Ah, also I've been told that I've apparently been seen here before? For the record I have no knowledge of this and therefore accept no responsibility whatsoever for any of my previous self's doings.

...But...if you have a good story, I'm all ears.

[As soon as Sirius shuts off the camera, James' grin widens and he kicks himself and his red tube over to the edge of the pool nearest to where Sirius was recording. He's still got his glasses on (though charmed to repel water) since the entire world's a blur without them, but the water's flattened his hair considerably.]

It's about time! The rest of the population of Wonderland's Sirius-ly been lacking in Sirius-es.

[It's only a gentle tease though, one meant more to flatter than anything. He knows exactly why Sirius has been so quiet, and he can't say he blames him really. He would've been too, if his initial exposure to Wonderland had been multiple terrible things happening to Sirius.

But, it's been a couple months now. Long enough that James isn't quite as concerned about Sirius vanishing without him, and long enough that it's about time he got to know their fellow captives.]

Plus everyone's got to be sick of winter by now. I'm sure we'll get plenty of takers.

[And if not, well, more pool for them.]

[Sirius this, Sirius that, He snorts with a lopsided grin and rolls his eyes, putting the communicator down (and double checking he's done it right just in case) and pulling his shirt off.

Swimming costume already on, he thought it was polite to address the rest of the house with his shirt on but..you know. Swimming pool.]

I should hope so, [Sirius throws over his shoulder, padding to the edge to stick a foot in and feel the temperature.]

Otherwise I'll be stuck here with you all day.

[Henry only knows one James in Wonderland, and he thinks he knows who Sirius is talking about, even if he's giving the video a What even are you doing look. Sirius, you sound like a pretty cool guy, if a bit ... strange.]

A pool party? With swimming and games and stuff? Is James going, too?

I feel like I don't have a prayer of not going if James is involved.

[Jo smiles wearily, but for what it's worth, she's at least trying to be cheerful. Aside from looking like she hasn't been sleeping all that well, she's at least presentable these days, and mostly held-together.]

I think people just forget we have a pool sometimes.

It's actually a pretty good pool. We've had a couple of parties down there before. Not that you've tested it beyond pushing James in or anything.

She arrives to the pool in a modest swimsuit, but she's obviously made an effort to stay in the spirit of things. Once she's laid her towel down, she heads over to Sirius and gives a wave.]

Howdy. I did happen to meet you last time you were here, but you didn't stick around long so. No stories, really. I'm Shannon Beiste, though. James knows me. [She extends a hand to shake.]

[Aw yeah, Souji is all over this. He wants to meet Sirius and also he looks good in swimming trunks and also there are entirely too many ladies at this pool party for there to be no Souji there also.

Of course, Sirius has only seen him, y'know, dead and cut open, so Souji's a bit circumspect about his entrance to the pool area. Not shy at all, but he certainly doesn't strike a pose, just stands and looks around to see who is there before approaching Sirius (and possibly James), wherever he might be.]

[Yes, good. Girls, check, swimming, check, there might even be a few bottles of beer floating around somewhere.

The thing about seeing a dead person is...you're never quite prepared for it.

A ghost is one thing, Sirius has met loads of them. You can't avoid it when your school is bloody crawling in them.

He's not had to really deal with that before.

He's also not been told about the rules and regulations of Wonderland death.

So it's not exactly a surprise when Sirius actually jumps and points with a noise something less than manly.]

Ah- Yes, I think so. [A pause. The events of late have made being here a little less than savory but what can you do. He's still burning with rage from February but right now isn't the time for that.]
