Or I can always just start demandin' answers-- [ you know the violent way. purgatory kinda rubs off on you after a while. ] -- 'cause you know what? I don't have time for this. Not today. [ not when one minute benny had been going on about something or another and now the vampire isn't anywhere to be seen and his search for cas is interrupted.

which leads him to adding, after a pause; ]

Cas, if you're here for some messed up reason, lem'me know. Same for you, Benny.

[It's recent, as Michael sees it. If he really wanted to be cruel and dig up the past, he's got free access to John's entire personal history. The things he could tell Dean about his father's experimental phase...

He gives Dean an amused, condescending sort of smile; the same kind normally reserved for children who don't understand why planting skittles doesn't net them a skittles tree.]

From the way he's heard it - leaving his less-favoured brother in Hell with a pair of archangels for company - Adam's awfully low on Dean's list of priorities, but boy did the last Dean hate that implication.

The half-Winchester walking around Wonderland is the real deal. Michael could attest to that; it's essentially impossible to fool an angel when it comes to their vessels. Exactly how much of said half-sibling is still Adam Milligan anymore... He'll leave the elder Winchester to sort that out for himself. Hell is, well, Hell.]

[ it's true in a sense, but dean thinks michael deserves more than enough blame for it-- him and lucifer both. sam and him had only done what had been entirely necessary. or so he tells himself. ]

[What if Heaven hadn't dismissed the possibility of their General being locked up down in Hell? There's only one way to re-open the Cage, after all, and there's a lot they could throw between the Winchesters and the rings.]

[ okay, so an empty threat in a sense-- they'd gotten lucky, despite the outcome, with the key and cage. another plan like that? doesn't exist. ]

[Michael gives him a mocking smile. Trying to wrestle an archangel's ego into submission is no easy task. There's really only one person in existence who can tell Michael "no" and make it stick, and it's certainly not Dean.]

[A few years older than the last time Michael's seen him. A bit wrinklier.

An archangel on the inside might help smooth those out, you know.]

[ him and his other-self clearly need to have a conversation about bettering their lying skills, but for now he keeps a solid poker face despite being called out on his bullshit. ]

Trouble meaning runnin' around like headless chickens? Maybe, sure. Ain't the hardest thing to deal with -- [ except for raphael and cas wanting to become god, and so on. ] -- once you've flushed the biggest turd.

[Michael's just making assumptions, really. Regardless of his opinion on dishonesty, he's found that lying through his teeth isn't very hard - and if he can do it to his own siblings, Dean surely wouldn't have a hard time doing it to him.

Sharing a destiny with someone doesn't mean you have to like them.]

What a shame, then, that you're here instead of at home to 'deal' with them.
