[ figuring out how to use the device isn't the hard part, no, it's swallowing the fact that either purgatory changed on him in what could only be described as seriously trippy as shit way, or he's in yet another new dimension. so have dean, wonderland, covered in dirt and grime from head to toe. it doesn't take squinting to notice the obvious splashes of blood either, though all of it's dried as if he hasn't changed his clothes in a while...
in his hand is a massive weapon; axe-like in shape, with a blade made of something unrecognizable but decidedly dangerous. ]
Alright, listen up. This is how it's gonna go; whoever thought this-- [ he gestures vaguely around with the tip of his weapon. ] -- was a great idea? Hand up now. You and I are gonna have a couple words, and how pretty they end up bein' depends entirely on you. [ a threat is laced in every single word. ]
Or I can always just start demandin' answers-- [ you know the violent way. purgatory kinda rubs off on you after a while. ] -- 'cause you know what? I don't have time for this. Not today. [ not when one minute benny had been going on about something or another and now the vampire isn't anywhere to be seen and his search for cas is interrupted.
which leads him to adding, after a pause; ]
Cas, if you're here for some messed up reason, lem'me know. Same for you, Benny.
[ end feed. ]

[ He's thinking of Blake and as much as he can't stand Dean, he'd been making headway of some sort. They'd been getting closer to working together, hadn't they? Almost getting along in their own way. Really, though, he's mostly angry on Blake's behalf at this point, because Crowley was just starting to think that maybe the bastard really was gone and that his life could be simpler without him. ]

Not here, which is about as much of your business at that's gonna be. [ huffhuff. ] Don't get too happy for them, I'm not staying.
no subject
[ He sounds more exasperated than anything. No one who's forgotten has remembered later from what he's seen. ]
Fine, let's operate under the assumption that you're better than the rest of us and you can just come and go as you please. Before you left, you and I had been here together for nearly a year. We were getting along swimmingly, so if you'd like to keep that truce up, I'd be more than happy to and I'll even throw in some free answers about this place on good faith. Sound good?

I don't lie. I never lie.
[ And then his pompous airs come back as if the topic of his honesty hadn't just come up. ]
Ask your brother whether or not we're working together. He'll tell you the truth. Ask Feathers, even. He'll tell you I've behaved swimmingly for as long as he's got memories of this place.

Yeah, funny thing about Sam is, sounds like he might have his demons all mixed anyway-- so whatever he says about you? I ain't takin' any of it.
[ as for cas... he might actually have to bring this up with him, later. ]
no subject
Tell me he's not mixing things up with Ruby. Keep your brother away from her. We both know how that ended last time.
[ Dean can think whatever he wants. Crowley's used to this, but he's not dealing with whatever mess Ruby's trying to make out of the moose.
If he can count on one of the Winchesters to be likable, it's Sam. Unfortunately, he's also a complete moron if he gets an even half-decent set of tits flashed his way. Ruby is surely proof of that, because it's not her winning personality that won Sam over. ]

though dean very much plans on figuring out what exactly is going on there, and ruining it. ]
And since that's something I gotta deal with again, I really suggest you keep your ass outta trouble.
[ so that he doesn't have to gank you, too. ]
no subject
[ Dean gets a cheeky little grin with that, because Crowley will probably be good, but he's still going to be Crowley. ]
If you manage to find a way out, be sure to share with the class.
no subject
Half of the class, sure.
[ that half doesn't include you, sorry. ]
no subject
[ It's one thing to call Moose an ally and not count favors and another entirely to help someone out who's just promised to dick him over afterwards. Crowley's not going to be the lapdog that gets left at the shelter when the family moves away. ]
no subject
How do I know you're gonna be the one leaving me in the dark? 'Cause knowing you, weaselin' details outta stuff's kinda your thing.
[ hell, dean can't believe he's even talking about this crowley of all people. but then, he'd never thought ruby would a problem again, one that's already apparently doing damage. ]
no subject
[ It's all pretty annoying, actually. ]
But I think you know me well enough to know that I don't go back on my deals. I won't hold back relevant details if you won't. Do we have a deal?
no subject
Fine. [ it's gritted out eventually. ]
This thing goes south though? I don't think I have to tell you what'll happen.
[ let him get his threats out, crowley. ]
no subject
I'll just have to remind you.
[ Really, Crowley just wants the status quo back or maybe something slightly better.
He wants to work with them and he wants Dean to not be a shit to Blake, but that's asking too much and he knows it. He's waiting for the day when Dean gets Blake killed the same way he got Kevin killed. ]
no subject
We'll see 'bout that.
[ if there's one thing becoming clear to dean, it's that he needs to grab those he knows and holds dear, and get the hell out of here. someone else gets hurt along the way? too bad. ]
We're done. Keep me updated.
