Let's see, after you get back from Purgatory - and you find Castiel, no worries. He's not what I expected, more...dunno. Something. I ended up explaining what fanfics were to him when I finally met the guy. [ Oops, getting off track here. ] Anyway, you get back up with Sam, you guys do your hunter thing and then before you know it you end up running into a Knight of Hell who sounds super scary and Heaven ends up kicking all the angels out and locking up tight.

[ Against the angels, anyway. She could swear she'd actually been in Heaven for that brief period of death she had but then again the brain does some crazy stuff when someone dies, doesn't it? ]

Last time I actually saw you guys we, uh, found Dorothy. In your bunker. Like, Wizard of Oz Dorothy. [ It's all sorts of crazy, man. And she completely forgets to explain what the hell she's talking about when she says 'bunker'. ] There was a wicked witch and everything involved, it was...kinda terrifying but we won! Go team!

[ the quiet dread which bubbles up in his gut is.... somewhat smothered when she then brings up cas and fanfics. or something. which gets dean ready to comment, but the story keeps rolling which he figures it probably for the best.

as much as dean wants to concentrate on dorothy and the wicked witch -- seriously? -- it's what charlie says before that which has dean waving a hand. ]

Wait, hold up and rewind. What do you mean Heaven ends up kicking all the angels out? Is that even possible?

[ there are things dean would have laughed at years ago which are now every day reality, but heaven locking up? that still sounds halfway impossible. ]

[ Oops, maybe she should have given him a chance to ask questions before going off on a ramble. Sorry about that, bro, she just gets excitable about things. ]

Oh, yeah. We're talking actual angels falling straight to the ground - the news called it a meteor shower. [ Which is about what she would expect, honestly. The news actually being legit for once? Never. ] It's got something to do with some trials and tablets with the Word of God on them...I wasn't around much for that stuff but it seemed pretty heavy.

[ And it brings back the memory of how bad Sam had looked. Like he was going to fall over dead at any moment. ]

Sam has a rough time with it. [ She's a little more subdued when she says this part. ] I mean, things end up working out and he gets right back to his healthy, yeti self. It was kinda touch and go for a while, I think.

[ dean's still stuck on the angels falling. to the ground, too, as charlie seems to wanna put it. and that's-- not good doesn't feel like a strong enough summary. he wants to ask about cas, but charlie keeps going which forces dean's thoughts away from the angel and to his brother instead. ]

As long as he's alright. [ except no, dean's gonna have to give sam shit about it, as some of what charlie says doesn't quite add up to what sam had said. but then, figures sam would leave the most important details out. ]

Oh, yeah, he's totes up and about and not looking like he's trying to knock on heaven's door at all!

[ He looked pretty rough, dude. Charlie was just relieved to see the guy up and about, looking relatively healthy. ]

Uh, also there's another thing... [ She's not sure if she should bring this up, but if she doesn't it's gonna drive her bonkers. ] There's a dude around here who looks just like you. And I mean exactly.

[ Not gonna bring up the murderizing spree he went on. She just doesn't want to think about it. ]

[ HOW CONVINCING CHARLIE, YEAH.

but he's seen sam by now, knows he's alive at least... even if something had been a little lacking about him. but ah well. it's someone wearing his face that has dean blinking at her, and then going for the more obvious answer; ]

[ Wow, so much unsure right now. She's just got some bad memories tied to his twin, that's all, but it's obvious she's avoiding something. ]

Not really. He kinda sorta went on a killing spree-ish. I don't think he knew he was doing it, but it wasn't pretty. Like, at all.

Charlie can be a good liar, it comes with traveling around and changing identities like she has forever, but it's hard to lie to Dean. ]
