[Audio=>Video=>Action] I blink and the world was gone
[Scott tumbles back into Wonderland disoriented and in full Lacrosse gear. He even still has the burns on his neck and hand from the attempted assassination, though they’re rapidly healing. His mind is a jumble, processing how he went from the locker room to the middle of a… garden?
He pulls out his phone and thinks he hits the call-back button because Stiles should be the most recent call on his list.]
Stiles? What the heck happened? Where am…? [But his voice trails off as memories hit him like a freight train. The network audio hangs there a while as he sorts through them in his head. Then it ends and is flipped over to a video feed.
The dark eyed teen looks a little dishevelled, but he seems to look less startled than his voice had been moments ago.] Wonderland, right. Sorry about that, um… disregard?
Private filtered to Allison and Isaac:
Allison? Isaac? Are you guys still… [There’s a knot in his throat that chokes off his words, so he swallows hard and tries again.] Are you both still here?
Action:
[Scott moves briskly back to the mansion and up the flights of stairs until he hits the ninth floor. It’s a quick dash down the hall to the Beacon Hills rooms, because let’s face it, they almost all live on the same floor. He reaches the 629th room and hesitates before rapping on the surface.] Stiles?
[He needs you, broski! He’s gone through a lot since he vanished and it was difficult for him to separate the tangle of Wonderland memories with ones from home. What would he do if his bestie was gone? He’d just been standing with him in the locker room after some psycho tried to take his werewolf head off with thermal wire and now he’s here.]
Private filtered to Natasha:
Sorry! I don't know how long I was gone, but I didn't mean to skip out on training! And repeat apology for every day I've missed along with grovelling for forgiveness?

:') action!
he smiles, leans on the doorway. ] Scott. Welcome back.
[ this is not the stiles you are looking for. (though he'll do his best to act as the best friend, as he'd done in beacon hills for so long.) ]
OMG! <3
Hey, yeah thanks. You feeling okay?
[Aaaand he still hasn't seen that movie. Scott should be suspicious, but this is Stiles. Stiles *after* the fox. So really, he's just worried one of Wonderland's events might be making his bestie sick.]
You're not looking too hot.
no subject
[ the fox prides himself on being an excellent liar; he imitates stiles's mannerisms easily, jittering one of his legs as he speaks, but keeps his arms folded across his chest. ] Things here have been crazy.
no subject
[Fool him once, shame on you. Fool him twice... yeah, Scott's completely falling for it. Again. He just trusts Stiles too much.]
What happened? Like Wonderland's crazy magic puppy invasion kind of crazy or Barrow crazy?
no subject
C'mon, you never know who's hanging around. There was a dude trying to talk to us about cats the other day, it was weird.
[ speaking of cats; paige, the cat who lives in stiles's room, is avoiding him. how weird...... ]

Welcome back. No apologies necessary, since I doubt you got a say in it. Everything alright?
no subject
Yeah, I'll be okay and thanks. It was quite an experience. I was back home for months and I didn't remember anything about this place. It's weird. What about you? You okay? Anything change while I was gone?
no subject
You didn't miss much. Apparently a new friend of yours showed up while you were gone.
no subject
A new friend? Who was it?
[Okay, that has him a little worried. It could be any number of friends, but it could also be a not so friendly non-friend claiming to be a friend. Though, he was pretty sure the rest of his friends wouldn't let that charade go on long.]
no subject
Didn't catch her name. Young girl about your age, showed up yelling for Stiles. Long honey-blond hair. Seemed to be having a bit of a control problem. not sure if she was one of your wolves or not, but she seemed pretty rattled by everything.

Malia? When did--[He shakes his head, physically clearing the thought from it. The 'when' wasn't really important, but apparently it wasn't long ago if she was still disoriented.] It's... complicated. It'll take some getting used to, but I promise I'll try to explain everything, okay?
Where are you? Did you find a room? We're all pretty much on the ninth floor if you wanna join us. I don't think anyone will really mind.
no subject
( she sighs. ) Sixth floor. I'm just fine where I am.
no subject
It was just an offer. Stay wherever you feel most comfortable. [He's obviously going to worry about her, but he isn't going to make her move if she doesn't want to.] Just remember, you're welcome here whenever you want.
What's the last thing you remember?
no subject
I think I just need breathing room. But, thanks. I'll keep it in mind.
( now comes the question of whether or not scott is up to speed with her, or vice versa. please, please let there be at least one person with consistent memories to her own... ) I went and talked to Peter after I found out that you guys were hiding my real name from me. Then I gave Stiles his copy of the list back. I left his house, and the next thing I know, I'm here.

Yeah, I'm still here, so is Allison, why?
Are you okay?
no subject
Y-yeah, I'm good. I'm just glad you guys are still here. I was um... I don't know how long it was here, but I was back home for months. I was afraid you guys might've vanished, y'know?
[Semi-true to the last word. Just... only part of his worry.]
no subject
Oh. [ Maybe he buys that explanation, maybe he doesn't, Isaac's a tough one to read. ]
We're all here - and the coyote chick is here too, Malia?
[ A beat. ]
We've been here a year, I doubt were going anywhere.
no subject
Malia? Yeah, she's uh. She's pack back home, now.
[It's actually kind of nice to see her here. He feels less 'fish out of water' and more 'fish out of water with company'.]</small. You never know. How long's it been? Everyone's doing okay?
no subject
[ MHM. ]
Alright.
[ Not so silently disagreeing with you, Scotty. ]
A week, and everyone's fine as far as I know.
What happened back home? [ Where the hell is he living now? Why isn't he helping Scott? ]

[ first there's the relief in knowing he remembers, because as much as she'd like to have to walk him through explaining wonderland and all its many wonders, they're kind of in the middle of something. ]
It's an event. The Dutchess is somewhere in Wonderland with the Vorporal Sword and the mirrors are coming over to get it.
[ because obviously it's a totally normal thing to make sure people are here. that's why his question, even his tone, doesn't set off any bells with her quite yet. ]
Are you okay? What all do you remember from home?
no subject
Vorpal Sword, right. The uh--[His voice cracks, but he clears his throat to cover it up.]--Jabberwocky killing thing, right?
[It really is totally normal to worry about that and don't question his momentary unravelling because you'd have to drug him up on wolfsbane to get him to even consider telling you why.]
I'm--I'm good, yeah. Stuff. Lots of... [Lie better, McCall.] stuff. Just the usual Beacon Hills supernatural stuff and school. Crazy foxes and oh! There's a hit list out for supernatural creatures. It's a blast. I think we're safer here, actually. Definitely.
no subject
allison frowns, immediately aware of the fact something is wrong. ]
Yeah... are you sure you're okay? [ because that? that doesn't look okay. and it's scott, which means there's really no way that allison can keep herself from worrying.
plus, scott is as easy to read as an open book when he's trying to avoid a subject. which is what she picks up on, now, with his stumbling. she almost pushes the subject, again, when something catches her attention a little more strongly. ]
A hit list? You mean like the mob?
no subject
They're calling it a deadpool. But it's a list of all the supernatural creatures in Beacon Hills with numbers of how much they're worth dead. With proof. Beacon Hills is crawling with assassins now. Just another fun day back home.
[Yes, let's stay focused on that because it's actually a much nicer topic than the previous.]
Apparently I'm worth 25 million dollars dead.
no subject
still, her gut says it's something else. that scott's still hiding something. but she can't figure out what, or how, so she won't push it.
instead, she focuses on the updates. the stories of things she couldn't even imagine, which probably meant they're true. ]
Are you serious? A deadpool? [ wait, isaac mentioned something about deadpool once. wasn't he a comicbook character? she ignores the thought, frowning. ]
Who has a list of every supernatural creature in Beacon Hills? Who would call a hit on them? [ god, could their lives become more of a soap opera? please?
but then she just kind of stops. stops, and stares, eyes wide. ]
Twenty five million? [ what. the. hell. was. going. on. ] Who wants you dead?
