[He's been around since about one in the morning, but he was conked out on the bed due to wow coming back to life sucks almost as much as dying. His body still aches from the ordeal, but Dave pushes through it.

Ladies and gentlemen, Dave Strider is pissed.]

[John growls, his anger pouring out in an animalistic sound. He's never wanted Dave to feel as badly as he does right now.

So he charges forward, hammer swinging from left to right as he skids right into Dave.]

[Dave parries the blows with minor difficulty. John isn't as fast as Bro is, but he can't say he's ever fought someone who uses a hammer before. For now, he'll be defensive as he gets a feel for how the other boy moves.]

[John's weapon is heavy, and it takes him longer to recover enough to start a new swing than it could ever take Dave. But if he gets a single blow in, well, that might be enough to knock Dave on his ass and make John feel he's done what he needs to.

So he keeps at it, swing after swing, overhand, side to side, a few quick shoves to the abdomen. Anything and everything to make Dave pay for dying on him like that.]

[He almost grunts at the heaviness behind each strike. It's a good thing it's not one of his shitty swords, else it most certainly would've broken by now. Luckily, he's quick enough to recover for another parry, but he's not sure how long he can stay defensive.]

[And that's when John drops the hammer and dives forward, tackling Dave and pinning him to the ground.]

[SHIT, he doesn't expect this and falls heavily, not really sure where his sword is at this point. Pretty stars....]

[John doesn't know what he's doing, exactly. He's just doing it. And what he's doing is ducking down and biting down on Dave's neck.]

[John pulled back, his anger dissipating with each panting breath.]

[Dave's honestly caught off-guard by this, and blinks for a moment. He wraps his arms around John, looking away.]

I'm not about to blame you for the completely fucked choice Serket made. She was unstable to begin with. 'Sides, isn't it a knight's job or whatever to protect people and shit?

A knight's just a fancy word for a soldier. It's pretty much expected to protect you and everyone else or fuckin' die tryin'. Not like I die for the hell of it. I either fucked up somewhere or I wasn't strong enough.

Not like you can help it. Still pretty uncharacteristically pissed at spider bitch, but I'm gettin' a handle on it.
