[ It's late at night, when most good little residents should be asleep.

The video feed focuses on the face of a man in his early 50's, only mildly disheveled, propped up against a wall in one of the many corridors of the mansion. He pushes his glasses up on his nose and offers the tight, almost sheepish smile of a prideful man gathering up the courage to ask for help. His free hand settles on the back of his neck, squeezing it. ]

While it seems customary to make an introduction, I'm afraid that this isn't, entirely what that is.

[ His cadence seemed to speed up and slow down with odd emphasis. ]

My name is Harrison Wells. A name, I am sure, some will find at least somewhat familiar.

It seems that whatever has brought me here, or by whatever means, neglected one very important piece of equipment. You see, I am--

[ He started to shift his position, he elbow driving back against the wall, but he didn't seem to get very very. ]

--I'm paralyzed from the waist down, and by whatever means I was transported here, my chair did not make the journey. If anyone would be so kind as to find some manner of assistance, I would be very grateful. Though I'm afraid I have little frame of reference for where I am, but I will help the best I can.

[ Then his tone shifts. It's rather subtle, and to the uninformed it merely sounds as though he suddenly became gravely serious. But to those he addresses, there's no mistaking the shades of the true Eobard showing through. ]

And Barry. Caitlin. Ms. West, if you've been brought up to speed. You must be careful of what you say, especially to one another. I have reason to believe we've been pulled through time as well as space, and cannot be sure our starting point was the same. Sharing certain details could cause irreparable damage to each others' timelines. The four of us will need to sort this out.

[ There was nothing more than a lift of his eyebrow and a slight cant to his head. Those he addressed would know what it meant. ]

[ he's ... not gonna comment on why wells might be so sensitive about time line differences because he's ray and also where is wells' wheelchair? jesus, wonderland. way to be rude to everyone from ray's world. ]

Are you OK? Has anyone come to help you yet?

[ For briefest moment, he looked startled to see a familiar face that wasn't part of his lab, but truth was he'd known Ray was there already. Was it safe to assume even in their world Ray hadn't been informed of the truth? Or was he from before the truth came out? That was something Harrison needed to find out. But more importantly, he needed to keep a watchful eye for any of Ray's friends.

The shock faded into a warm, almost apologetic smile. ]

Oh, Ray. Not just yet. I'm sure Barry's asleep or he would have been here by now. But yes, yes I'm fine. Just a little... [ His gaze swept the hall beyond the screen ]...out of sorts.

Yeah, Wonderland didn't exactly transport me at 100% either. Uhh-- do you know what floor you're on?

[ while he fights with the magic devices to get a location, it's still kind of tough given the whole mansion shift situation...where is overwatch when you need her amirite? ]

[Dan Palmer is not one of the good little residents who are asleep. He's wide awake, listening to old jazz records and halfway mangling a spare hunting rifle when he hears the voice and tilts his head towards it, picking up his phone. Other people would help - that's the way of a lot of folks here, he's found - but it's the knowledge that the man is paralysed that prompts him to answer.

People might still be awake, but there's no guarantee that any of them would actually render assistance. Some of them might have different ideas entirely.]

Name's not familiar, but I can give you a hand if I can work out where y' are.

[There's a lot that Dan has remained unaware of due to the divergence of his own world from many other Earth-related timelines, but he can manage a wheelchair.]

[ Being a pariah of his city, the most hated man, and the cause of the biggest disaster to ever strike the area, it seemed like he couldn't quite comprehend someone not at least knowing his name. But he visibly appraised the man on the other end of the video, and he hardly looked the sort to up to date on the latest in the science community.

He probably couldn't even find Central City on a map. Not unlike the unsavory sort he and his team often contended with. ]

I wish I could be of assistance, but my vantage point gives me little to work with in the way of landmarks.

[Ah, that expression. He's used to being looked at like that, so he tolerates it with the faintest lift of one eyebrow until the other man deigns to speak again.

At least this guy has one thing right - he couldn't find Central City on a map.. because as far as Dan knows, it doesn't exist. A lot of things change when a few hundred nuclear bombs drop.]

So swing the camera 'round. I've been here a while, I can work it out.

[If not, he has a very clever dog that he can send to look for you, sir.]

[ He would have some very strong objections to being anyone's patient. Unless she had something to offer him. Which she probably does. Everyone does. ]

I assure you this is not anything that requires the help of a medical professional unless your name happens to be Caitlin Snow. No, I just need my chair, and I'll be able to walk out of here, same as ever. But thank you.

W-well, you see... the closets here provide us everything we ask for. But only if we can picture it in our heads... And, um, it can fit in the closet. So I need an exact, precise description of your chair... i-if you don't mind.

[Although he might not be able to move to use one right now, Elizabeth's pretty sure they'll have what he needs.]

You are the second to mention them, so I assume then you are not referring to a simple coat storage space?

[ Bad things will happen when he gets to one, Elizabeth. ]

They're a little more than that. [She gives a small smile, remembering how amazed she was by them when she first arrived.] You should have one in your room. If you open it up, it will give you whatever you think of. I'm sure there'll be something in there to help you move around.

[She hadn't seen Bran after he'd woken up, but she'd known he would never walk again. It hadn't been a detail she'd thought about in a long time, wanting to remember him as the inquisitive boy who climbed walls, but now that she'd known he'd been here and was still alive, his paralysis meant something again. She looks at the man over the feed with a curiosity that is perhaps a little too intense.]

How did you get like that? Did you fall and break your spine?

[ Her look is one he's seen before. One he may have induced in a ten year old boy, so long ago. He knew all too well the sort of things it could mean. So he answered it a sort of fatherly softness. An understanding and sympathetic sort of look, under cut by a subtle intensity of his own. As if he could in any way know where such curiosity came from. ]

Hubris.

[ A sort of sadness flit across his smile and faded quickly. ]

I did break my spine, but not in a fall. It was an accident, which was really my fault. A lot of people got hurt.

If it was your fault, then it wasn't an accident.

[There's nothing accusatory in her tone; it's just that her mind works in black and white and she needed it to be one thing or the other.]

[ team flash huddles in barry's rather plain and white room in the mansion. the flash suit remains laid out on his bed, which may not be the smartest decision he's made, but barry suspects his room can be as secure as he wants it to be. considering he's summoned the runaway dinosaur from the closet without much of a stomp of his foot, several converse shoes, and something a little warmer for caitlin to throw over her shoulders, his room had changed the moment they stepped inside of it to toss in an extra couch and expand itself just a little to accommodate them. believing his room wasn't secure was almost a joke in itself, given how it seemed to think and feel, like it was something that was alive. ]

[ it's really weird. barry's scrolling through the network on his phone to try and see if there's any explanation for that, even though iris has found a pamphlet that would be more of use for him. he paces a small distance on his floor, back and forth, unable to really sit down despite having spent the hours from early morning to this evening running around wonderland like a bat out of hell. ]

I wonder if there's a croquet game on tomorrow.

[ he's seriously never letting that one go, guys. ]

[ as he scrolls, he finds himself not finding his answer about any croquet games. one question he hadn't even had receives an answer instead. the best thing about thawne broadcasting a video? it's the fact barry doesn't have to say a single word. his voice is loud enough to resonate in his room, just as barry's own anger is as sharp and as thunderous as thawne's perfectly chosen words when he comes to a stand still. ]

[ Caitlin has hardly moved from her spot on one of the couches since she sat down. She's too tired to do much of anything beyond breathe and blink and pick at the same bit of food since this morning. She should sleep, but she's fighting it, has been fighting it since she arrived.

It's a fight she's starting to lose, her head nodding, right up until she hears that voice. Like Harry's, but not. Harry wouldn't call Barry Barry or her Caitlin and wouldn't have included the Miss to Iris's surname. And he wouldn't have "need" of a wheelchair.

Her head snaps up, eyes open and looking directly at Barry, knowing almost exactly what's going through his mind. But where he's angry, she's just afraid, even though she hadn't been scared of him before his unmaking. ]

He's warning us. Threatening us.

[ Natasha opens the feed with a curious expression on her face. The late hour has little impact on her - she's still down in the training room, and dressed from a workout, but she'd caught the transmission while finishing up. ]

I'm afraid your name is not familiar, but that's not so unusual here. At least you've grasped the complications faster than some. Do you still require assistance, Mr. Wells?

[ Video ]

[ He regards her with all of the air of a professional. One a tad too busy to be bothered at the moment, strange given the nature of his announcement. ]

Even if I did not already have some frame of reference for what's happened, I'd hope that I am intelligent enough to not respond with blind panic to such an unexpected turn. As for assistance, I am sure there is some on the way, Ms....?

[ He lifted an eyebrow, indicating that she'd not given her name. ]

Your name doesn't ring any bells to me, but it's nice to meet you anyway, despite the circumstances. I'm Daisy Johnson; I've been here a few months now. [She figures an introduction in return is a good idea.]

Those 'means' you were transported here by is basically ... magic. Which is the common answer to a lot of what goes on here, which you'll find out soon enough I'm sure. If you haven't found someone to help you yet, the closets here are, well, also magic. They provide almost anything you can ask for -- not everything, but just about. I'm sure it could provide you with a near replica of the chair you had in your world.

[ He gave the slightest laugh at the mention of magic, shaking his head, gaze lowered. The epitome of "oh you sweet summer child." ]

Well, Daisy, I'm quite familiar with the science involved, at least in theory, for interdimensional travel. My team and I, well one member of my team, had already proven part of it, if by accident. We have seen far too much that most people would classify as "magic" that I assure you was nothing more than advanced science.

[ Is that a small note of condensation under his nice tone? Why yes, yes it is. ]

[ She's just gonna be a little blind to alternate motives for issuing a warning because as far as she's concerned it's not really true. ]

As someone here with a buttload of people from home that seem to be from varying points? Can't say we've found any complications on the whole catching each other up thing. I mean, sharing is caring after all. [ The good and the bad. ] Besides, if you get sent home for long enough you don't remember anything from this place anyways. I've had that confirmed by a few people that were here before and came back after a few months or so.

[ For a moment, he just stared at her with intense, pale eyes. As though trying to bore a hole through the screen. Because this young woman was honestly trying to tell him about messing with the timeline. ]

Be that as it may, our timeline is, shall we say, brittle. Fragile. It's become altered and fragmented in many ways that are difficult for even me to trace and it's something that we must broach carefully as to not create a rather detrimental paradox. No matter where here is or what happens when we return, there are consequences, consequences I have seen for myself, that occur when these things are not handled carefully.

[ Another stranger who gets another long suffering look. Does he really have to keep explaining things while he waits for his actual team to act? ]

As fascinating as I would find a levitating chair, I'm afraid I'll run out of time before you could build one. That is, assuming you find some means other than maglev technology. Which, in and of itself, would be fine, but it lacks any sort of versatility. Even assuming the building has enough ferrous metal to proved the necessary lift, it would not be so successful off-road, as it were. Unless this place in which we've found ourselves, has a vastly different infrastructure than I've come to expect. I am only making assumptions as I can't quite see through the nearest window.
