[ It's late at night, when most good little residents should be asleep.

The video feed focuses on the face of a man in his early 50's, only mildly disheveled, propped up against a wall in one of the many corridors of the mansion. He pushes his glasses up on his nose and offers the tight, almost sheepish smile of a prideful man gathering up the courage to ask for help. His free hand settles on the back of his neck, squeezing it. ]

While it seems customary to make an introduction, I'm afraid that this isn't, entirely what that is.

[ His cadence seemed to speed up and slow down with odd emphasis. ]

My name is Harrison Wells. A name, I am sure, some will find at least somewhat familiar.

It seems that whatever has brought me here, or by whatever means, neglected one very important piece of equipment. You see, I am--

[ He started to shift his position, he elbow driving back against the wall, but he didn't seem to get very very. ]

--I'm paralyzed from the waist down, and by whatever means I was transported here, my chair did not make the journey. If anyone would be so kind as to find some manner of assistance, I would be very grateful. Though I'm afraid I have little frame of reference for where I am, but I will help the best I can.

[ Then his tone shifts. It's rather subtle, and to the uninformed it merely sounds as though he suddenly became gravely serious. But to those he addresses, there's no mistaking the shades of the true Eobard showing through. ]

And Barry. Caitlin. Ms. West, if you've been brought up to speed. You must be careful of what you say, especially to one another. I have reason to believe we've been pulled through time as well as space, and cannot be sure our starting point was the same. Sharing certain details could cause irreparable damage to each others' timelines. The four of us will need to sort this out.

[ There was nothing more than a lift of his eyebrow and a slight cant to his head. Those he addressed would know what it meant. ]

While I could give you every precise detail, standard as it might be, I fail to see how you could simply find one in a closet. Anything you have, preferably of the motorized variety, would be appreciated, honestly.

[ He tried to cut her off before she even finished her proclamation, but instead just pressed his lips into a frustrated and barely tolerant line. ]

That's really not necessary, I assure you. It seems some friends from my lab are already here. I have no doubt, once they extract themselves from whatever trouble they've found themselves in, they'll be able to provide me with what I need.

[She carries the device with one hand, and the other hand is in the closet.]

All the closets in the mansion are like this! As long as it can fit, it can be pulled out. You just have to think of it... I-I can try to pull out anything you ask for, if you'd like to test it.

[ He starts to say something, but a shadow passes over his face. As if whatever he thought of suddenly dredged up a memory he'd rather be left forgotten. But he pushed it down and sat up a little straighter. ]

What I would like to know most is if you could remove any manner of lab equipment or computer from your closet. [ Like an advanced holographic AI from the future that was built by his enemy ] But I doubt you would know the various specifications, if it is a matter of thinking of it. However, since it was medical assistance you offered immediate, is it safe to assume you are medically trained?

[ He's going somewhere with this. ~~and not at all stalling~~ ]

I'm the Super High School Level Nurse. It's a title given to students from Hope's Peak Academy who are the best at their given talents. It means I'm the best Nurse in all of Japan.

[ And he's apparently landed in the asylum, and this was no nurse but a patient. Such a realization shows plain on his face, as he abandons his plan. ]

I wasn't aware it was possible to become medically trained before college, but it's been quite some years since I've had occasion to visit Japan.

Well... to be fair... My Japan might be different from your Japan. Y-You see...

[She gulps, still uncomfortable with this part.]

[ He straightens slightly, squaring his shoulders, letting out a slight irritated sigh. ]

[ It was, however, possible to lie without the intention to do so. It's called delusions. ]

I can't prove it right now... It's something you'll have to see and learn for yourself... We have a bunch of monsters living here, and people from odd worlds. B-But they're all very nice! We all do our best to get along!

[ He remains unmoved. That quiet, cynical skepticism of the intelligent. Not quite condescending, but not entirely able to hide just how wrong he thinks you are. ]

I'm sure they do. Tell me, am I to assume that means there is no conflict? I'm sure there are fights here and there, you can't exist with other people without it, but I mean serious conflict. In my world we have...villains and heroes, with the sort of fights that tear down buildings. Does that not exist here?

[She's not entirely sure how to answer that.]

Well, of course people fight, but... the building repairs itself when it gets torn down.

[Does. Does that help?]

[ That only seemed to confuse him further, his head tilting and brow scrunching. ]

So they do cause property damage?
