[Minato's excuse for not being around much (while I was on hiatus!) is that he caught a bad cold after being out in the snow, and then spent the past couple weeks recovering in his room, doing his best to deal with the events on top of being unwell. But since everything seems to have returned to Wonderland's sense of normal now, Minato is outside yet again, but not with the intention to get sick once more, not that he had any intention to get sick in the first place.

But then again, he does have snow in his gloveless hands, balling up said snow and packing it together in order to make a snowman that is very reminiscent of a certain mischievous Persona by the name of Jack Frost. At least this time Minato's not sleeping in the snow and actually has a coat and scarf on as is appropriate for winter wear. Just no gloves. Those aren't helpful when it comes to precision with snowman building.

His mp3 player and headphones are resting on top of his comm device that began recording the sounds of the ocean waves and this song, faint and distant and the result of Minato having enough downtime to find new music while sick.

Minato brushed some of the snow and water from his hands before looking out at the sea.]

... A year doesn't feel like a fixed period of time anymore.

[Souji saw the video and has grabbed a few things from his room before heading down to the beach. He gets there in time to hear Minato speak.]

[And with that, he plops a knit hat on Minato's head, pulling it into place, before tucking a pair of gloves into the pocket of Minato's coat.]

[Minato smiled, feeling the hat on his head. That was easy. Comes with being shorter than Souji, probably. The gloves were nice too, but in a second he'd put them on. After the snowman is done.

He quietly thanked Souji, turning to him, thinking about something he had been told before.]

"Time never waits. It delivers all equally to the same end. You, who wish to safeguard the future, however limited it may be... You will be given one year; go forth without falter, with your heart as your guide."

... A year isn't a very long time.

[Someone new! This isn't a voice Minato recognizes, but there wasn't any point to not speak with whoever this other person was. Besides, it was always nice to hear from someone new. To that end, Minato made sure his hands were dry and clean before putting away his music player and picking up his comm device.

Whoever it was couldn't have sounded that much older than Minato was, although Minato did think the other boy had made a good point. Something to think about.]

A little more than a year. It's gone by faster than expected.

I've only just gotten here. Some of the others tell me I was here before, but...I can't remember any of it. I guess, in that sense, time truly is an illusion, since it seems like I never spent any time here at all.

A year, though...that's a long time to be away from home. Do you miss it?

I tend to wonder why we're supposed to think time has passed if it does.

[Minato smiled to himself when he read the text. Wasn't there something about a White Rabbit being late in the story that Wonderland was somewhat based on? He didn't mention it though. Maybe not yet.]

[Okay, so while building a snowman and things is completely normal for a snowy day, seeing a white wolf with red decorative patterns and that reflector disc thing on its back bounding through the snow is definitely... not normal. Not that it was a bad thing. Time to go investigate!

Minato left his Jack Frost snowman the way it was for now, heading over to the wolf goddess.

You... You remind him of Koromaru so much. ;o; Thus with that in mind too, Minato got down on a knee, kneeling down nearby her, really not wanting to stand over her if she needed any help with anything. She probably didn't, but who knew.]
