[ Usually when Clint wants to think or be alone he heads for the tallest thing he can find, in Wonderland's case, besides trees, that would be the mansion roof. Only today he's found himself wandering down to the shooting range by the beach with his bow and quiver. He really needs to fix this place up.

It was weird, waking up that morning in a room he didn't remember for a moment. The last thing he remembered was Steve getting them out of the raft and then...well then he was a sixteen year old Hogwarts student. His memories came back slowly and then all at once. Wonderland. He wondered how long he was gone, it feels like he's missing time.

So he heads down to the shooting range to clear his head for a few hours and at some point in there he addresses the network. He figures someone might want to know he's back. ]

Uh. So I'm back, I guess? I mean I've been back, but we had that weird event and I didn't know I was back. Yeah. Back from a trip home. [ Now he knows what everyone has been talking about. They were right, he was probably better off not knowing. ]

Does anyone else miss flying on a broom?

[ He's about to turn the feed off but he pauses and looks back at the camera. ] Hey Rogers, just so you know, I still don't feel the need to punch you.

[ Then he ends the feed for good, going back to shooting his arrows at targets. ]

[ HOLD ON IS THAT A BOW AND ARROW WOAH ]

You're a ranger. Woah. Can you show me? Hit a target!

[ Well he's adorable. His question and the absolute delight in his voice make Clint smile. ]

Not a ranger, just a marksman. But yeah, kid. I can show you, hang on. [ He sets up the camera so its facing the range and has both him and the target in screen before nocking one of his arrows and letting it fly, hitting a perfect bullseye. ]

[ His voice is hushed, eyes wide, like he's treating clint's actions with the same reverence of someone who's seeing the mona lisa for the first time, or the sistine chapel. ]

Mental. You didn't even aim it just twunked and showed up. You're like Legolas--or Aragorn!

Teach me! I can totally do that with practice, right?! Let me be a ranger, too.

[ Clint laughs. He knows that look, that look was on his face too when he was that age seeing someone using a bow for the first time. ]

Probably a bit more like Legolas. Or so I've been told.

How old are you kid?

Legolas is awesome, he completely messed all the orcs up in the battle of Pelennor Fields!

[ It's the other comment, though. He scrunches up his face, doing his best older person impersonation. Is this because he has no teeth? Stupid cleidocranial dysplasia. ]

Old enough! I'm 11.

You've read the books?

[ He's impressed, most kids in his world just watch the movies instead. Though he did manage to get his son to read them too. ]

Eleven huh? Well I suppose I can teach you. You need to promise me one thing though.

Of course I've read the books. The Two Towers is my favourite, that seige is awesome.

[ As for the promise... ]

I dunno. What's the promise?

Have you seen the movies, kid? Talk about awesome.

[ So what he does not realize Dustin is from the 80s. ]

You have to actually listen to what I teach you.

[ The last thing he needed was to get blamed because people accidentally got shot by arrows. Natasha would never let him live it down. ]
