[Being kidnapped isn't comforting for anyone, let alone someone as deeply paranoid as Bruce. He thinks of a rogue from Gotham that kidnaps young blondes and call them Alice. They're all mad in Gotham.

He wonders if they're all mad here too.

But he also knows how to mask that paranoia and rely on his public persona as he speaks over the network, choosing to keep to an audio post for now.]

My name is Bruce Wayne and while it is unlikely that my name has the weight here that it would have had at home but I figured I would put myself out there all the same. I'm sure you get tired of the same questions over and over again from new arrivals so I'll keep it to just this one.

What's the one thing you wish you had known about this place when you arrived? Advice or information that would have made the transition into Wonderland a little bit smoother, assuming such a transition is even possible, of course.

It goes without saying that you're free to leave more than one thing if you feel so inclined, I'm not going to turn away more information.

[After exhausting himself looking through the library he's managed to find the bar and order himself a drink to try to take to relax himself. Bruce doesn't remember the last time he felt this on edge -- which is saying something for him because he is always on edge in one way or another. This place seems mostly peaceful so far but it has to be some sort of deception. He was taken from his home, after all. And Gotham may not be the best of places but it is home and he'd like to get back to it. But he knows it won't be that easy, no one would bring that many people here without some sort of ulterior motives in play. They want something from all of them, the only question is what.

He throws back his first drink in one go. He can't imagine the catch is anything good but he has a feeling he'll know sooner or later. After all, there's always a catch. Some might call him cynical for jumping to conclusions like this so quickly but he likes to think he's being realistic. While Clark's death may have restored some well needed optimism to Bruce that doesn't mean he's blind to how cruel and ugly the world can be. He just knows now he has to try to be better than that himself.

What that means for him here, however, remains to be seen.]

[He looks over the file as she sends it and lucky for him she addresses the part that had sounded the most alarming -- the mirror side. What would even be the opposite of him?

How soon should I expect to meet mine?

Depends. Stare in a mirror long enough, he might get curious. That's where they all live. I suggest not having a mirror in your room but to each their own. You can write a message on the glass for it to see, and they sure as hell spy on us. That's why there are mirrors down the hallways like a damn funhouse.

[Oh good, they're always watching. He might have to experiment with that later, if only because the enemy you know is better than the one you don't.]

Are they always stuck on the other side or do they ever cross over?

They're stuck unless the queen gives an order. But we can't exist in the same space. If the mirror is here, we have to be there. Vice versa. And there's only one way in from our side but it changes, so. No one's found it, long as I've been here.

[ She pauses for a moment. ]

Sometimes, an event here will be the mirrors crossing over. But it's either a mistake or like I said, the queen ordered it.

As the queen seems to order a lot around here. [Bruce is no stranger to corrupt figures in power but everything about this queen he hears about rankles him all the same.]

If they follow the queens orders is it safe to assume they're dangerous is nature?

Bingo. Usually ends in murder.

[ A pause. ]

You get to the part yet where we come back from the dead if we do die?

Someone mentioned that. They warned about not burying the dead.

[Which is a weird concept for him, because all he ever seems to do is bury the dead but he'll try not to do that here, apparently.]

Is there a limit to that or do people just come back indefinite amounts of time?

Number I always hear thrown around is five. And sure enough, guy named John Blake hit number five a while back. Never saw him again.

[ Her voice is more serious, and if he could see her, he'd see that she was completely tense. ]

In the years I've been here, that's the first time I've ever seen that happen.

[The seriousness in her voice is taken note of and he makes sure to keep that in mind.]

I'm sorry to hear that. This doesn't sound like a very safe place.

Sometimes it's not. Sometimes it's better than where people come from. On good days I'd rather be here than home. But everyone's different.

[ She's careful to emphasize 'sometimes' because hell if there aren't events where she'd rather go up against walkers any day. ]

I guess it depends all on where you come from.

[Gotham isn't exactly a safe place but it's familiar, it's something he's used to at least. this is the unknown and that makes him uneasy.]

[ She's not going to dump 'zombie apocalypse' on him, so she simply agrees. ]

It's not all bad here. There've been good events, so don't let me or anyone else worry you too much.

[ Be worried, she thinks, but don't panic. he doesn't seem like a person prone to panic and that's the only reason she doesn't elaborate the point. ]

I know some said the ones involving the magical school recently weren't so bad -- though I don't relish the idea of my mind being messed with like that.

[To say the very least. But no, he's not likely to panic, not outwardly at least.]
