01 🔥 video
I'm getting real tired of getting dumped in strange places against my will. I don't like it.
[There's a low, dangerous growl of disapproval and the expression on Mick's face is not a pretty one. It's somewhat reminiscent of an angry bull. This was the second time in God knows how many days that Mick Rory has found himself stranded somewhere new and different, unsure what the hell is happening. It's not a good feeling. It didn't inspire much good will.
Though this is a definite improvement over the last place. For one, there's food. For another, he gets a free smart phone to yell at people over and voice his anger. Not bad. Though he did kind of think they went a little overboard with the white. What was with all the decorations anyway? This better not be like some low rent Christmas Town cause honestly, that sounded a lot like hell.]
You got five minutes to convince me not to torch this place to the ground cause I ain't in the mood to play nice right now. Somebody start talking. [The words come out as an angry snarl, teeth barred. He's not a happy bunny.]

[Mick doesn't have his heat gun, he has a light and some alcohol he knows how to burn with. Mostly, Mick is unarmed and he knows provoking this fight is a sure loss but that's just the headspace he's in right now. A fight for the sake of a fight.]
video;
Maybe, somewhere in there, she wants someone to stop her. ]
Outside. The gardens.
video;
[Mick doesn't care what this is or when this one got so determined to pick a fight, he just knows that he's got nothing to lose by doing this. But she had a hell of a lot more and that was his victory.]
video » action.
[ And with that, she cuts off her end of the feed. The restlessness and sleeplessness burns under her skin, an itch that she could scratch until she bleeds and still not satiate. But this might. She may not know Mick Rory well, but she knew enough from personal experience.
Caitlin doesn't even feel the cold as she steps outside. She'll stand there, waiting for everyone's favorite firebug. ]

Either way, perhaps especially because of that, it's enough reason to get up from where he's lying and approach her, stopping just a few feet away.]
Ironically, you need to cool down.

She sets her jaw as he stands, her arms crossed over her chest. ]
You need to go inside and stay out of my way.

[Which is obvious just from the look of him, which is the very opposite of Caitlin's suddenly so intimidating appearance. Leonard just looks tired. Tired, bruised and beaten. Some of the worst parts of his life, relived. It doesn't make for a good day.
She's not helping.]
You wanna get to him, you go through me.

[ She's tired. She's exhausted by people thinking they know or understand her when, clearly, they don't. Her self-control is hanging by a thread at the moment, one that Leonard just plucked at.
Still. There's something in Caitlin that softens as she looks him over. ]
Looks more like he dealt with you.

[He watches her, his gaze steady. Finally he takes a step closer, indicating her hands.]
How well can you control that?
no subject
To answer his question, she holds up an index finger. In a matter of seconds, a shaft of ice extends from the tip, narrowing until it reaches a fine and razor-sharp point. ]
Well enough.
[ She isn't going to admit that she loses her grip on it when she gets emotional. He doesn't need to know that. No one needs to know that. ]
Does it really matter either way?

[They might have only had that same power during an event, in another reality, but that doesn't mean he can't remember. Leonard raises his hand to hers, not touching but mirroring how she's holding her fingers.]
If you can control yourself, it can't control you.
no subject
[ There's less acid in Caitlin's voice. Instead, there's a void, an emptiness that echoes. She pulls her hand away, closing it into a loose fist that knocks the ice off her finger. ]
Don't pretend you know what I'm going through because you had powers for five minutes.
no subject
[His voice softens a little, less of his usual drawl, his eyes following her fingers as his own hand closes into a fist as well.]
Hurt.
