That's definitely a breech of trust. And I'm guessing they know something about you now that you didn't want them to know?

I would have told them eventually, on my own terms, in my own way. But I didn't want them to find out like that.

Alright, then it was a jackass thing to do. I'd be pissed at some for awhile for if they did something like that to me, but I'm not sure if it'd be a forever dealbreaker.

If you were going to tell them eventually, it's not 100% a secret, right? Then you can live with them knowing.

It's the not the secret itself that hurts. It's that he broke a promise that meant something to me, and he knew it meant something to me.

If that's how you really feel, then don't forgive them. Or at least think about it more. It's not like things like these have a time limit on them.

That is true. Maybe some day it will eat my memory of that too.

Have you lost a memory to an event here?

I can't ever be sure, to be honest. I do have days missing in Wonderland.

Days? As far as I know, it doesn't work like that.

I'm not saying I think you're lying, but maybe losing that kind of time doesn't have to do with Wonderland.

But I never had any memory issues before I came here.

Huh. Maybe you should ask someone who'd been here longer about it. As far as I know, you're only supposed to lose a word when wonderland takes a memory.

There is one other theory. I haven't entirely proven it, and I kind of don't want to, because it's scary.

Sometimes when we get transformed into things, our memories get messed up. Like if we're turned into monsters or zombies.

Ooooh. Yeah, that'd explain that. I wasn't thinking about the possibility.

I've had it happen to me once before.

That can happen then. Good to know. I guess if the mansion can make us believe we're all sorts of things we really aren't that's not too far of a stretch.

Maybe one day we'll just forget everything.

Then what would be the point of existing? Once we lose all our memories, we're no good to Wonderland, so... Maybe we'll just die instead.

It wouldn't be any different than being a zombie. [Or a Titan.] Wouldn't you rather be dead too?
