4th Bad Idea [Video/Action/Private Text]
(( ooc: If you'd like you can bump into him in the halls before or after the transmission. I'm up for all your mirror shenanigan needs, someone to attack/bully/hurt/befriend/whatever or your normal people shenanigans. ))
[ The video feed shows a teenager with a faded bruise, the bruise is healing a lot faster than his actual jawbone, which hurts like hell. When he talks it's obvious that he's slightly disgruntled by it. Attack Of The Wolfman hadn't ended too well for him. He'd spent an hour poking at the bruise when he'd first gotten it, making him even more insecure about his dumb face. He is however walking around the mansion hallways. ]
So, uh, is there anything that's working for getting people back to normal? Because I'm starting to think this couldn't get much worse. [ Isaac, you've watched enough horror movies to know not to say that. There's a moment when he chews on his lip in thought, eyes only flickering away from the feed for seconds at a time. ]
Why does it always have to be evil or weird stuff? Just once couldn't it just be like... a swarm of playful kittens or something? [ Puppies, kittens and ranbows for everyone? ]
Or y'know, a tropical vacation? ... Minus mosquitoes.
[ After the video ends he shoots off a Private Text to Santana
Private to Santana: ]
Hey you okay? if you havent noticed a lot of weird crap is going on.

And inside, the other him snickers, which makes it worse somehow.
Adam looks down, at his hands wrapped around the handle, at the blood both old and new streaked on his skin. He's not listening. There's nothing anyone can do to save him, and he knows it better than Isaac does. One good push, one good cut of a major abdominal vessel--the aorta, or mesenteric veins, maybe--and he'll hemorrhage just like his mom used to tell him about. Maybe he'd come back, maybe he wouldn't, but he'd at least have made a choice. Maybe he'll have gotten rid of the thing inside him along the way.
But it's the promise of help and idea that he's doing oh so well that really brings Adam's anger rushing to the surface. His head snaps up.]
You weren't talking to me! [He barks the words at Isaac, eyes blazing. Get him, boy, get him! his Mirror starts to cheer in his head, only infuriating him more.] You were talking to it, and no, I'm not okay, I'm the farthest thing from okay. There's no one here who can help what's wrong with me.
[This is a fact. The sky is blue, and he's not coming back from this.]
I'm not your problem. Keep walking.

It? Isaac isn't sure which one is the mirror and which is the real one, they're both acting kind of bat shit crazy, but this one is trying to kill himself so that is the priority right now. ]
Let me try. [ He feels like Scott, months ago he'd have deemed this not his problem, scary kid with a knife who looks like he wouldn't hesitate to try to carve him up like a Holiday turkey? Yeah it wouldn't have been his problem, but since the bite and meeting Scott - well, the edification was blatant, not that he was a bad guy before, his morals were just more shades of grey.
There's no signs of hesitation this time as he moves to get on Adam's level. He's becoming more and more thankful that his mirror didn't make it to him... What kind of twisted terror would he put his friends through. He shakes his head as he speaks again, a mirthless look on his face. ]
You can't just expect me to leave you here like this.

[He can't do this a second time. He won't. To preserve even a shred of his dignity and make sure the other presence can't use him, putting this fake life of his at risk is the least he can do. Anyway, if he's important enough to the angels, they'll just bring him back again. And again. And again and again and again. Either they would or this place would, right?
Alive or dead, he can't imagine things can get much worse.]
Oh, it's easier than you think. [He continues to watch Isaac, the last bit of anger draining out of his voice. He's asking, he's asking Isaac to leave well enough alone, and he doesn't expect the other person should need much more prompting than that.] You don't know me. I'm giving you an out.
[So please, don't make me your problem.]

Leaving people behind, to fend for themselves? It's a terrifying idea to Isaac, especially if he can do something to help.
It causes him to draw in a shuddery breath and shake his head. There's the scent of blood and something else Isaac can't quite place, but he's pretty sure it's coming from the guy he's trying to help. ] It might be easy for a lot of people, but, I have a really bad tendency to do things the hard way. It's a pretty bad flaw.
[ His eyes drop from Adam's to the knife again. ] Why are you trying to do that? [ He wants to reach out and take it from him, but the risk of hurting him is too high. ] I mean aside from the obvious. [ Of trying to kill himself. ]

He levels the boy with a look that borders on militant. He's not afraid of the harm he's ready to bring down on himself. What he is scared of is losing himself in the other presence inside him again, like he had with Michael. To Adam, avoiding full-blown possession is the obvious answer to Isaac's question. Killing himself along with the other him would only be a means to an end.]
Haven't you noticed yet? I'm not the only one who's losing it--other people are being taken over, same as me. [His voice wavers just a bit.] I'm trying to stay me. That's why.
[If Isaac could look inside him and feel the presence listening, brushing up against the bars of its cage, maybe he would start to understand why this is so important. To hold on to what's left of his identity... it's the only power Adam has left.]
