Since she has the afternoon off from both the bar and helping Tohru out in the diner, with the added bonus of no self-defense lessons lined up for the day, she's been taking advantage of the fact that she has a little downtime. She generally doesn't need much of it -- just like her mother, she likes to keep busy -- but now and then, it's nice.]

[ Ellen had his attention with the promise of alcohol. The closets still make him uncomfortable, but if he can see where it's coming from with his own eyes, it'll be that much better.

Not that his mistrust of the closets has stopped him from drinking from them, of course... ]

[ Jack's not a rum runner any more than Hector is. However, from the little he's learned about Ellen, he fully realizes he'd be a fool not to want her as an ally. Besides, rum running was how Teague met Gibbs, and that's worked out extraordinarily well for Jack. He sees no issues carrying on that tradition. ]

You think you can make a better barrel o' rum than this place has to offer?

[ Because, spoilers, the best way to Jack's heart is through his rum.

[Normally Susan wasn't particularly for things that could easily catch fire or explode, she tended to spend a great deal of her time dealing with the fallout of these things and had lost her appreciation for them, but this woman looked and sounded entirely sensible. It wasn't so much what she'd said, though Susan had paid close attention to that, but the take-no-nonsense way she'd said it. That tone had completely sold Susan on both Ellen and whatever she intended to do.]

Alcohol with less Magical interference is a rather appealing goal.

I'd guess you've already assembled a few people to do heavy lifting, so I won't bother offering in that vein, but I am rather skilled at metal working.
