Video 003

[Billy's face appears on the screen, it's clear he's worried. It's also kind of obvious he hasn't slept; dark circles rim his tired eyes. He looks exhausted and not at all like his normal bright self.]

Uh, has anyone seen my boyfriend? Tall, blond, incredibly too good looking for me, answers to the name Teddy. I seem to have misplaced him.

[Or he was still avoiding Billy. Or the real reason he couldn't find him was that he'd been sent home, home before they could even talk about what happened. Before he could apologize...at least Teddy wouldn't remember anything.]

If you see him, tell him...just tell him I'm looking for him.

Private text to Kate.

Tell me you're still here. I can't lose you too Katie.

(OOC: Action is also fine if you want to find him wandering around looking for Teddy. He could use the distraction :) Edit: He's also apparently now at the bar, someone keep him from drinking too much? Yeah? )
possiblymad: (No- Thank you)

Yup!

Quite. [Loki's smirk is partially amused. And he will totally teach you, just no telling Thor. Or anyone.] The God of Lies isn't always required to be untruthful. Only when it suits him. [His tone is playful and the smirk seems solidly amused, now.]

If he is indeed no longer here, I imagine this Land of Wonder would prevent your spell from penetrating. This dimension seems to be closed off from the Multiverse, however does have a web of connections with which it draws in victims and tethers others to it to draw them back in. I believe, there are times the tethers snap and that results in the permanent or semi-permanent loss of a companion. If... of course, I were to hazard a guess. [Dimension hopping and the Multiverse were somewhat specialities of his, though Wonderland didn't seem to fit any rules set, so it may not be accurate.]

Then, of course, your consent is not explicitly required if it were to keep you out of... hot water? [Oh yes, he did just imply he'd do it anyway for you, but you are free from accusation and persecution because you didn't agree. Loopholes.] Dare I inquire as to why he would wish not to see his mate?

[He can handle that, so long as Teddy keeps his mouth shut. Otherwise the hybrid might find himself on the bad end of Loki's temper.] Perhaps it does.

In that case, he will be back. Wherever he has gone, he isn't lost. If magic cannot find him, it is quite likely out of our reach and most definitely something Wonderland has done.

Wonderland would not be so merciful to rid me of that monstrosity's antagonistic behaviour, so fear not. [Another joke? Man Billy, you must look awful to elicit sympathy from the God of Mischief. Even if he claims he has no such emotion.]

[But his expression sobers up just a bit when Billy explained.] Perhaps we should work less on teaching you to use magic without incantation and more on control. These mishaps should appear less frequent in the future.

[He really wasn't the best equipped to offer kind words and assurances, but he could offer prevention methods.]

Optimism, there you have it. [The smile, though he's loathe to admit it, is actually satisfying.]

Look around. How else do you explain a fully staffed realm of superheroes Hel-bent on preventing my darker desires from taking over? [Billy, you're one of them, jsyk.] So, rest assured, he will return.

It is, I'm aware. I should have foreseen this turn of events. I misjudged the development of your powers, but I won't let it happen again. Think of it in a lighter note; you could have done much, much worse on an accidental whim. [You know, like destroy half of Wonderland in a fit of rage or turn Teddy into a personality-less yes-boy. Not that Loki sees that as a bad thing, but...]

Yes, of course. That must be it. [Playful sarcasm. God, Billy, what have you turned him into?

Because Loki knows just what you can do, little Demiurge.]
You humans and your morals. If there is anything I know about that shape-shifting oaf you call a mate, it's that he will inevitably forgive you. Kaplan, need I remind you again that you are impossible to despise? I'm growing quite tired of attesting to this fact. When he returns, ask him for forgiveness and do that thing you humans do; promising never to do it again, or what have you. I believe the terminology is 'kiss and make up'.

Oh, you needn't thank me. It's what I'm destined to do as a harbinger of Ragnarok, is it not? Well, not Hell exactly.

[Joking! He's joking! ...mostly.]

A werewolf? My, that seems oddly specific. What shall I call him, then? Your masculine acquaintance of a sexual nature?

Yes, yes, of course. Spoil my fun. [Do not expect this kind of 'fun Loki' all the time, Billy. He's still the God of Evil villain that you know and for some reason don't hate. But no sitting. That's bad for his evil reputation.]

I wasn't aware they truly existed. [Says the mythological Norse God.] And you seem to know more about them than I. However... I was under the impression you and the young hybrid were to mate for life. Has that changed?

[Will try to remember to use that very Midgardian term.]

If that's how you feel, I think that's how it will be. [A pause and a realisation.] Not as if I think you will make it so, I merely think you have nothing to fear. You are aware just how easily I tend to get under his skin? It's always to do with you. He is so fiercely protective of you. I have no reason to believe in the concept of love, but you do share something special with Altman. That is as close as 'written in stone' as one can get in the real world.
