Video 003
[Billy's face appears on the screen, it's clear he's worried. It's also kind of obvious he hasn't slept; dark circles rim his tired eyes. He looks exhausted and not at all like his normal bright self.]
Uh, has anyone seen my boyfriend? Tall, blond, incredibly too good looking for me, answers to the name Teddy. I seem to have misplaced him.
[Or he was still avoiding Billy. Or the real reason he couldn't find him was that he'd been sent home, home before they could even talk about what happened. Before he could apologize...at least Teddy wouldn't remember anything.]
If you see him, tell him...just tell him I'm looking for him.
Private text to Kate.
Tell me you're still here. I can't lose you too Katie.
(OOC: Action is also fine if you want to find him wandering around looking for Teddy. He could use the distraction :) Edit: He's also apparently now at the bar, someone keep him from drinking too much? Yeah? )

Hey, Scott. Yeah, I'm-. I can't find Teddy, so. [He cuts himself off before he does something embarrassing like start crying in a front of Scott. ]
no subject
Hey, it'll be okay. We'll find him, okay? Do you have um... do you have anything of his in your room? Or maybe something from his room, if you guys don't share one? Something he um... [Yes, how does he explain this without making himself sound like a freaking bloodhound?] Just... something he'd have worn?
no subject
Uh. This is his sweatshirt. Are you trying to do a location spell? Because I've tried that and he's not here, or if he is he got someone to shield him from me. [But that wasn't like Teddy, to make him worry like this.]
no subject
[Yes, Scott's a bizarre one, alright. But he's just trying to be helpful.] I don't know anything about magic, but I can track him. Where he's been and maybe find where he is.
no subject
[He's grateful for the help, as bizarre as it is. ]That may work, if something is blocking my magic from finding him then maybe you can.
no subject
That's what I was hoping. If it's blocking magic, then this is a more manual way to do things. It's harder for Wonderland to block a trail unless it erases it entirely. [He smiles, ready to follow Billy if he starts walking.]
no subject
So what exactly do you need of his? Most of our stuff is mixed together.
no subject
Um, okay... this is gonna be hard, especially with the puppy, too. [He rubs the back of his neck and resigns himself to just... giving in entirely.]
You probably figured out that I'm not exactly human--anymore--and my eyes aren't the only things that change. I need something that is limited to just Teddy's scent, or as close to just his as you can find. I... I can track his scent if I can lock onto it. I'm... [Face-palm] a shapeshifter with superhuman senses. And you're the first person I've told here, but not the first to know. [Yeah, it's complicated and people keep calling him out.] Please, please, please don't tell anyone. There are people here that wouldn't bother to get to know me, they'd just start hunting me.
no subject
[Rambling Billy, you're rambling.] Anyway, my point is your secret is safe with me, and I definitely don't judge.
no subject
A-alien? That's intense. [And his smile only gets brighter.] I'm not an alien as far as I know, but I do have the whole superhuman strength and healing. Hearing, sense of smell, and enhanced sight, too. I won't tell anyone, though. About Teddy. And thanks.
We're called a kind of shifter, but we really only shift into one thing. Well, depending on who you are. I was told once, The shape you take depends on the kind of person you are. [Billy's rambling promotes Scott's ease on the subject. The teen starts out cautious, but once he's trusting, he's fully devoted. Very much like a puppy.]
But--but yeah. [He spun around the room, looking and focusing on his sense of smell. He could pick out Billy's scent and the puppy's scent easily because they were the strongest two scents in the room at the moment. There was a third. He closes his eyes to better train his focus. If he couldn't find something that had Teddy's scent solely on it, then maybe he could try to weed out the two known scents from the third. He turns towards the bed and his eyes drift open slightly. They're glowing red behind the cracked lids as he leans heavily on his werewolf senses. He picks up the pillow and closes his eyes again, trying to separate Billy from the other scent. It was like unblending two different colours of spilled glitter, but he could see the differences. If he just focused on the one and ignored the other...]
His scent's... really strange. [Not an insult. Just a fact. But that would actually make it easier to follow.]

[He watched Scott walk around the room trying to find Teddy's scent and scooped the dog up so he wouldn't get under foot. Rufus had been more subdue since Teddy vanished, almost like he knew he was gone too. Puppy definitely liked Teddy the best.
He couldn't help but laugh at Scott's words.] That's probably the alien thing. I won't tell him you said he smells weird.
no subject
Wolf. I'm... a werewolf. But we're not like the horror movies. We're protectors. Well, most of us. My pack, anyway. I'm--[Scott, stop talking. Just stop.]--an Alpha.
[Moving on before he keeps nervous babbling all over Billy.] He just smells unique. Yeah, probably the alien thing. [But he turns his attention to Rufus.] You know I run the veterinary clinic, right? In case he ever needs anything.
no subject
[He smiles as Rufus tries to scramble out of his arms and greet Scott with proper puppy kisses.] I didn't even know there was one, that's good to know.
no subject
Kinda. I like to think of it more like being their guardian. They're my friends and they don't have to actually be werewolves to be part of a pack. They just have to be people you care about--people you'd protect with your life. Kinda like an extended family. So that kinda answers your second question. [He laughs softly.] Some of my friends are here and I've made new friends here that I'd call unofficial pack. Back home, there are wolves, coyotes, foxes, banshees, and humans in my pack.
[When Rufus starts scrambling, Scott reaches out to let Rufus sniff him and pet him.]
Yeah, it's on the first floor across from Martha's clinic. Humans on one side, pets on the other. [He laughs again.] Room two.
no subject
That's kind of really cool actually. I don't know anyone that can shift into an animal, at least that I know of. I know shapeshifter but Teddy usually sticks to humans. [ Not counting the time he was a chair, but he didn't choose that one. ] Can you change at will or just like during a full moon?
[Billy lets Rufus crawl over into Scott's arms and go for face kisses. ] Sorry, he is the worst guard dog, he loves everyone.
no subject
Well, it's not... as cool as it sounds. Like, some can, but I can't shift into a full wolf. Not like one you'd recognise as a wolf, I mean. A friend of mine, from what I'm told, his mom could shift into a full wolf. But most of us just shift into something... somewhere between. [He smiles sheepishly.] Kinda more nightmare fuel than majestic. But yeah, I can shift at will. The full moon doesn't force us to shift or anything, it just makes controlling our wilder instincts a bit difficult. But you seriously don't have to worry about that with me. I've been in control since my second moon. The first one was a little shaky.
[Scott happily cuddles and holds the crawly puppy, assaulted by puppy kisses as he laughs.] It's--[He stops and tips his head up out of reach of those kisses so he can talk without fear of puppy tongue.] It's okay. I'm sure he'd protect you if you were in danger. You don't have to be vicious for that.
no subject
That's true. [He thought of Teddy, who was the sweetest guy he'd ever met until you threaten the ones he loves. Rufus really was an appropriate name, ]
no subject
[He scratched the puppy behind the ears when it settled a little bit.] People and pets can surprise you like that. The things they'll do for people they love.
