[Billy's face appears on the screen, it's clear he's worried. It's also kind of obvious he hasn't slept; dark circles rim his tired eyes. He looks exhausted and not at all like his normal bright self.]

Uh, has anyone seen my boyfriend? Tall, blond, incredibly too good looking for me, answers to the name Teddy. I seem to have misplaced him.

[Or he was still avoiding Billy. Or the real reason he couldn't find him was that he'd been sent home, home before they could even talk about what happened. Before he could apologize...at least Teddy wouldn't remember anything.]

If you see him, tell him...just tell him I'm looking for him.

[Hes hesitant when he asks but too curious. He tightens his hold on Sam, bringing him closer.]

[They end up curled next to each other, Sam's head resting against Billy's shoulder. It's comfortable. It feels nice.]

She's- she was- we had a thing. She was amazing. Funny and smart and way way out of my league.

Was this before or after...everything?

After. She was the old Runner Five. I mean, the third Runner Five. The current one, they're my fourth.

[ So that means... ]Oh, Sam. I'm sorry.

[voiceinthedark]

[Sam shrugs, the pain now is a dull throb every time he thinks about her. It's been months. It's been months and sometimes he still feels like he'll wake up and she'll be there.]

I sent her out to the hospital and she- she never came back. I mean, not as a human anyway.

I had to watch them shoot her to help Five escape.

[ Billy doesn't say anything, he isn't sure theres anything he could say that Sam hasn't already heard. So he just pulls him closer and drops a kiss on his lips, briefly. Giving what comfort he can. ]

[Sam sighs and manages a smile when Billy kisses him. He slumps and rests his head against Billy's shoulder.]

Sorry. I was meant to be here to make you feel better.

Don't apologize, clearly we both needed someone tonight.

[voiceinthedark]

Yeah. Looks that way.

[He presses one last kiss against Billy's neck before straightening up a little and reaching for the bottle.]

We are gonna be so hungover tomorrow.

"I could always will the worst of it away. Or I could try, I've never actually done that before, but I can sometimes heal people when I want to. Shouldn't be too different?

Sam gave him a sceptical look. "Is when you're already wasted really a good idea to be trying out something that messes with your head?"

"I meant in the morning. No magic when drunk, its a rule."

[voiceinthedark]

"Heh, are you sure? I mean... what if we wanted more booze? Or like... what if we wanted a joint or something? Could you make it appear?"

"I mean we could just ask the closets, but I could," He pauses. "I've never actually had a joint before."

[voiceinthedark]

"There was a settlement a couple of miles away from Abel," Sam says, and Billy will hopefully not question the 'was', "loads of teenagers. Grew their own weed. We uh... traded a lot of stuff with them."

Billy laughed. "That doesn't surprise me at all. I wonder if the closets would give you weed."

[voiceinthedark]

"A lot of it was medicinal. Some of it was definitely recreational." Sam grinned at him. "Well, they'll give me vodka. Can't hurt to try."

Billy laughed. "Go ahead, try it? What's the worst that can happen?"

[voiceinthedark]

"Is that really a good thing to say while we're trapped in Wonderland?" Sam asked. "Although I guess the caterpillar was smoking something.

[actualwizard]

"Well the closets aren't going to blow us up for asking for weed...at least I hope not. Really they should be sharing." Billy shrugged. "Can't be worse than the array of leather whips and collars it insisted on giving me when I tried to get Rufus a leash."

[voiceinthedark]

"Shh, don't give them ideas!" Sam said, clapping a hand over Billy's mouth and giving the closet a suspicious look before he burst into giggles. "Wow, really? I kind of want to see this."

Billy laughed from behind Sam's hand reaching up to pry it off his mouth. "I hid them, in the bottom drawer over there." He gestured towards the wardrobe across the room. "I didn't need Teddy wondering what all the leather was from."

[voiceinthedark]

Sam stuck his tongue out at Billy, but magnanimously released him. He pushed himself unsteadily to his feet and started to walk, mostly in a straight line, towards the wardrobe. "This I have to see. And you didn't fancy seeing Teddy wearing it then?"

He couldn't help but snicker as he watched Sam wobble across the room. "I would love for Teddy to wear it, but not sixteen year old virgin Teddy."
