She tucks a strand of hair behind her ear and with a loud and annoyed sigh, gets right into it so she can get to her point and get out of here. Hopefully. She is in a mood about this -- sorry, Wonderland. Among other things happening back home, she's recently been reunited with her daughter after several months, and she's quite eager to get back home to her.]

Hi. [A beat.] I have no idea who or what I'm addressing, but here goes. I'm Hayley, and I'll be playing the role of Captain Obvious for a second here. Last I checked, I was definitely in New Orleans. This? Is definitely not New Orleans -- I can tell that much already. So, with my role of Captain Obvious now over, who can tell me the quickest way out of this lovely place [ -- yep, that's sarcasm -- ] so I can go back and be with family and friends? [She has yet to discover that most of them are already here, whoops.] Thanks in advance.

You're here--in Wonderland. [She's quick to keep going, having a pretty good idea of how Hayley might react to that.] Which sounds absolutely crazy, yes, but that's the running theme of the place.

And yes, really. Not that I blame you for not believing me, but Elijah was the one who told me about it when I got here. [Which leads into a whole new mess of questions, no doubt. Might as well get that out of the way now.] He’s here, along with Klaus—and their brother Kol, who yes, is alive in case you don’t know that. Davina’s here too.

It just, um, more weird than anything right now. [She nods slowly.] And wow, that sounds almost like a full set of us from New Orleans. No Rebekah or Marcel? [Those are the two most noticeably missing names to her when considering who else they all know. She'll wait until Cami meets up with her to ask a lot more questions.]

it's clear enough from this broadcast though she just arrived and since katherine was still impersonating elena and also pretending she arrived just a week ago when she responds there is no recognition in her expression, only a touch of concern] I wish I could say there was a way out but unfortunately it's like we're as good as stuck here.

[That face looks a lot like Katherine's -- though it could be Elena's, and hopefully it is her instead of Katherine -- but either way, Hayley isn't about to jump in and start shit over the network for something that: a). isn't related to her current problem of being stuck here; b). isn't related to any of her problems in New Orleans; c). isn't another sort of problem right now - if it's Katherine, she's not being hostile at the moment and thus Hayley has no reason to be hostile to her - if it's Elena, that would just be awkward if she started something now thinking she was Katherine.

In the meantime, Hayley will just silently wonder which doppelganger she's speaking to at the moment.]

So what's the other catch? A witch is behind this? [That's her default assumption since a lot of her recent experiences and problems have been witch-related.]

Klaus and I went to the safehouse where Rebekah, Elijah, and Hope were. Rebekah was going to accept the bodyswap deal from Esther. [also the part where she and Elijah had sex, but ha she's N O T telling Kol that.]

[Like many of the others, Davina's both surprised and happy to see Hayley back. To have another person who could help try and keep Klaus in check. Especially with what Kol wanted to do now that he had a dagger.

Things could get ugly and this place wasn't the right setting for it... For once, revenge needed to be put on hold. Amazing how much 6 months in this place can do - especially when dealing with magic far stronger than anything she's ever dealt with before.]

[Keeping Klaus in check has probably been a more than full time job for those who have been trying to do so here -- and probably always will be, no matter how many of them are here, because it's Klaus -- but Hayley will gladly help out in that regard where she can.]

I'll probably be taking you up on that sooner rather than later. How long has everyone -- well, everyone we know, anyway -- been here? Because I saw most of you not too long ago, and it sounds like some of you have been here a while.

A lot of us have been here since October, Kol since I think December. Most of us showed up at the same time, you included the first time round.

[Which is still weird to her.]

They aren't kidding about the events here. Mikael was here for a little while and was destructive during one of them. [When he wasn't being destructive otherwise.] There's also a mix of other supernatural beings to keep an eye on - none have really been troublesome yet, at least none that couldn't be handled.

[ He's not seen her since that night. Not had a chance to speak to her about any of it, but he understood why. He understood it was for her people. To unite them and give them a chance. He loves her even more for that sacrifice. It pains him to know that she once resided here while he had no memory of who she was to him. How much she meant to him. He couldn't imagine how hard it was to see him and not be able to explain everything. She couldn't explain the connection.

Seeing her now makes his heart drop. It's good to see her face. He doesn't even bother with his communicator. Elijah actually speeds to her. Stands at a distance, but close enough to be seen. Eyes on her as he makes sure she's okay. Whole. He doesn't even speak. He waits for her to notice in her own time. Not sure what she remembers. She was kind enough not to rush him when she was here before. He wants to extend her the same courtesy. ]

[It doesn't take her long to see him, but when she does, she speeds over to him and offers him a smile. Even if she'd rather be back home now instead of here, she's glad to see his face. She's also not sure what he last remembers from home or how long he's been here, so it leaves her a bit unsure of what to say at first.]

Hi. [She starts out small.] Being here isn't my idea of anything good, but I won't lie and say it's not nice to see you.

[ Her words sort of blur together in his brain. He's trying to take her in. Soak in every last inch of her. Terrified that if he does perhaps blink she'll disappear from his sight. Gone. Just like that.

Elijah should probably have reassuring words. He should probably tell her it'll be okay. Tell her about Niklaus. Tell her about Hope. Tell her about all of it, but he doesn't. Instead Elijah moves in towards her and pulls her into his arms. He forgets all about the talk they had about her having to make it work with Jackson for her people. He just wants to hold her for a moment. ]
