[ By now, she's already had a relatively thorough look around the mansion and its grounds, investigating and exploring. She's overheard conversations, watched some people from afar, and has the gist of what this place is about. She's pretty sure she has, anyway. Wonderland, it's called. They're all "prisoners", all from different worlds or universes or whatever, blah blah blah, some magic junk, etc. It's only then, when she feels like she understands the situation, that she finally makes an appearance on the network, a wry smile on her face as she broadcasts. ]

So, I've heard this place be referred to as a prison, but you know what? It ain't so bad. I mean, there're rooms for each of us, free food--as much as you can eat--and we're free to come and go as we please. I don't see what's so bad about all that.

[ She kicks her feet up from her sitting position and gives the camera a look. ]

I think I could get used to this, actually. Loads better than anywhere I've ever lived before. Sure, we're trapped here or whatever, but is it really so bad? Could be a lot worse, you know. I'd rather be trapped somewhere comfortable if I'm going to be trapped at all.

[ With that, she shrugs, and cuts the feed. ]

It's not always comfortable — fair warnin'.

[ Blake doesn't feel like it's the nicest of introductions, to draw attention to the darker aspects of Wonderland, but it sucks to be blindsided by that kind of thing. ]

Christmas is usually pretty rough.

You'll never age as long as you're here. So you know. Eternal puberty. Just what everyone wants.

Some people take being trapped a little more personally than most.

[Bobby half-smiles. He's got a soft spot for rambunctious kids, okay, and Selina looks like she might be one based on what she's saying.]

I think they probably don't like havin' their minds messed with. Sorta rude.

Part of it is how far you can go - apparently, if you try to leave, you die and end up here again. [ Not that Sharon has experienced that firsthand - not yet, anyway - but she's read about it. ]

But no, not every prison has a closet like the ones here. The food isn't always the best, but it can handle most other things. Clothes, decorative touches. [ Weapons. But that's probably not appropriate to say to a child who's just arrived here. ] Most things you can remember from home.

I'm Sharon, by the way. Welcome to the best hell you could ever hope to be. [ She shrugs. ] Until it's the worst.

[ Playful, ]

One can get used to anything. How quick do you think you'll be?

I-I thought that too! It could always be worse... I mean, s-sometimes this place is bad, but then, things right and fix themselves back up, so... all things considered... th-this place can be nice occasionally! And there are some a-amazingly nice people here too.

[Alistair's finally getting used to the phone and it only takes him two tries before he successfully responds to the new person talking on it.]

Ah-ha! Got it!

[Oh wait, she can see and hear him now, can't she?]

Got you, I mean. On this thing. [Brilliant recovery Alistair. Just brilliant. Never mind, he'd had something to say, hadn't he.]

You say that it's OK now but just wait till everything gets weird and people you've never seen before are telling you they know you. I've seen it happen.

[He did get it right, didn't he? He's not just talking to himself again, thinking he's gotten the thing working is he?]

Finally! Someone gets it!

You know, you're right. A lot about this place is really cushy. [Neal's been in worse most of his life in fact, pretty much never having lived in a place where he didn't have to struggle in one way or another. So at first blush, yeah, Wonderland's pretty great. But he's been there long enough to know that within a week or two, this kid would get her first brush with the price of living it up in a magical realm.]

How much have you heard about what goes on here? The events and stuff.

[This kid's got a lot more moxie than most of the losers who pass through, and it's enough for Stan to actually reply. He'd have been into all this in his younger and shiftier days too.]

A cushy prison's still a prison, kid. [Not that...he knows about prisons......] Don't get too comfy. It gets worse.

It depends entirely on who you ask, I think.

[By all accounts, Wanda has grown pretty well-accustomed to Wonderland. It's no worse than anywhere else she's been-- and certainly more comfortable than most places.]

I'm finding myself almost fond of it, even if it has its ups and downs. The same could be said for anywhere else.

I'm going to tell you like everyone else that the events suck ass...

[ You'd think Tommy would learn not to swear around kids, but apparently he has not so far. ]

...but the whole warm place to sleep and limitless food almost makes it worth it, doesn't it?

[ It seemed like a whole lot of people here did not really understand how big a plus that was. It sucked that it took a kid to understand, but he was glad someone did. ]

There's a lot of different traps in the world. This one might seem okay on the surface, but there are plenty of reasons why you shouldn't get too comfortable.

[ Still, she's a cocky little thing, isn't she?]
