I'm getting real tired of getting dumped in strange places against my will. I don't like it.

[There's a low, dangerous growl of disapproval and the expression on Mick's face is not a pretty one. It's somewhat reminiscent of an angry bull. This was the second time in God knows how many days that Mick Rory has found himself stranded somewhere new and different, unsure what the hell is happening. It's not a good feeling. It didn't inspire much good will.

Though this is a definite improvement over the last place. For one, there's food. For another, he gets a free smart phone to yell at people over and voice his anger. Not bad. Though he did kind of think they went a little overboard with the white. What was with all the decorations anyway? This better not be like some low rent Christmas Town cause honestly, that sounded a lot like hell.]

You got five minutes to convince me not to torch this place to the ground cause I ain't in the mood to play nice right now. Somebody start talking. [The words come out as an angry snarl, teeth barred. He's not a happy bunny.]

Oh, I remember lotsa stuff. Like you're a feisty one, I ain't gonna lie. You'd give as good as you got. Or you'd try, anyway. Too bad you've not got that much to you.

[He shrugs. Any other time, he might have started more but right now, he's not in a playing mood.]

I've got more than you'll ever know. [ She lifts her hand into frame, palm flat and up. It looks as if smoke is rolling off her skin, but it's whiter than usual, and the camera on her device starts to fog over. ] I'm a lot less fiery these days.

[Huh. Looked like smoke. Pretty much turn on where Mick is standing. But that's not from fire, he knows it's not. It's something else. Something that brings a smirk to his face.

Why not provoke? Why not start this? What did he have to lose?] Look at you with all that big talk, you ain't trembling half as much as last time. You think you've got the nerve to come get me?

More than come get you. [ She froze superheated tungsten in seconds. Mick Rory and his heat gun sound right up her alley. Maybe he doesn't even have his little toy here. Even better. ]

Name a place.

[Mick doesn't have his heat gun, he has a light and some alcohol he knows how to burn with. Mostly, Mick is unarmed and he knows provoking this fight is a sure loss but that's just the headspace he's in right now. A fight for the sake of a fight.]

[ She should make this private. If she really wanted a fair shot at him, she'd make her response just between the two of them. Leaving it public just means someone can stop her.

Maybe, somewhere in there, she wants someone to stop her. ]

[Mick doesn't care what this is or when this one got so determined to pick a fight, he just knows that he's got nothing to lose by doing this. But she had a hell of a lot more and that was his victory.]

[ And with that, she cuts off her end of the feed. The restlessness and sleeplessness burns under her skin, an itch that she could scratch until she bleeds and still not satiate. But this might. She may not know Mick Rory well, but she knew enough from personal experience.

Caitlin doesn't even feel the cold as she steps outside. She'll stand there, waiting for everyone's favorite firebug. ]

[Leonard has been expecting her, given he follows everything he can on Mick's post. He's not quite sure what he is expecting, because this Caitlin reminded him more of one he's known - known well - in an event than the actual person.

Either way, perhaps especially because of that, it's enough reason to get up from where he's lying and approach her, stopping just a few feet away.]

Ironically, you need to cool down.

[ This Caitlin certainly looks different than the one he's gotten to know here in Wonderland. Her expression is less open, less friendly. There's an anger there, and not focused solely on Mick. Her hair is lighter, badly concealed streaks of white blonde hidden within. But most telling is the way her eyes glow, haunting and pale.

She sets her jaw as he stands, her arms crossed over her chest. ]

You need to go inside and stay out of my way.

Caitlin! [He still barely understands any of it, what happened, how she has powers, why she's going Killer Frost on them, but he knows it's not okay and the last thing he wants is her getting herself hurt over Mick.]

He tried to kill you. He tried to kill me. [ Something dark and angry flickers in her expression. ] You should be thanking me right now. I'll put him down before he hurts anyone else.

I ain't sure what's going on with you, snowflake, but you go after him, you go after me too.

[The last think Mick's wanting right now, but that doesn't change facts.]

She's not. She won't. [He speaks too loud, too fast, and the way he's taking the choice away from her is probably NOT going to please Caitlin right now. But he'll find a way to stop her if he has to.]

[All just about damage control at this point, isn't it? Containing the fire, so to say.]

[ She doesn't want to hurt him. But if she has to, so be it. ]

Just stay out of his way and we ain't got a problem.

[ Her lips twist as she considers this. ]

You see, the trouble is, I'm not concerned with his way. Just mine. And he's in my way. So...

[ Look, it's Caitlin Snow doing the Kanye shrug. ]

Yeah, he did. Don't worry, I didn't forget. [And she has a point, she does, and really, isn't Cisco usually the one of them trying to gun for taking out the bad guys before they have the chance to do anything else? But he knows her. He knows how much it would wreck Caitlin in her right mind, no matter what was done to her, killing Mick would be a guilt she couldn't bear.]

But if we drop to their level, what makes us any different than them? [It was a thin line, one he was terrified of crossing. It was why he didn't mess with the powers that were at his own fingertips. He didn't want it. The power, that feeling, he didn't want to let it take him over. And he's so worried that's what's happening to Caitlin, and he doesn't know how to stop it.]

[ Usually it would be much easier to talk her down. Even with the threat of Killer Frost taking over, she could be made to see reason, to listen to sense. But with the dreams and the lack of rest, she's hanging by the edge and her grip is getting more slippery by the second. ]

Maybe I'm not different than him, Cisco. Maybe, deep down, I'm exactly like him. But his life, it isn't going to outweigh everyone in this building.

You are. You are different. You're not this person. You're not a killer, Caitlin. [No matter what moniker she may feel is appropriate because of what's happening to her. She's not.] That blood on your hands would eat you alive when you calm down again.

[ Her laugh is bitter, mirthless. A far, far cry from her usual. ]

Aren't I her, Cisco? [ She lifts her hand again, this time her fingers curled. And in less than a second, an icicle fills the void. ] Can Caitlin Snow do this?

You aren't her. [There's a stubborn resolve in those words. He's not ditching that idea any time soon. His jaw tightens and he lifts his chin defiantly.] Apparently you can now.
