Hey people! [Dipper grins, bouncing on his heels. If he hasn't slept much since the event, it's hard to tell, but considering how much sleep he got that weekend, it's really all averaged out to his usual semi-exhausted state.]

It's been a while and we've got a lot of new people so I thought it was time to remind people about the weekly game I'm running.

[He holds up an epic looking box.]

Dungeons, Dungeons, and More Dungeons! Which is pretty similar to something called Dungeons and Dragons or Warlocks and Warriors or probably some other magic stuff and other magic stuff that's found in any number of different worlds. It's tabletop roleplay, and it's awesome. If you're interested in escaping this weird fantasy world for a different, better weird fantasy world where you can fight evil and do magic and be awesome, let me know. Or just show up. I can help you make a character and show you the rule book.

[A beat.]

It… doesn't require as much math as you think it does. But you still might want to bring a calculator.

I've never played a game like that. I'm...not really sure what they're about.

[Dipper grins.] I mostly meant for people who can't do complex equations in their heads.

Well, they can be about pretty much anything! But mostly they're about adventure and storytelling and imagination. And fighting stuff with magic. And rolling dice.

[A beat.]

Did you dye your hair?

I could do it for them! I've finished most of my current projects so I have a lot of time on my hands again.

We do! Come join us, Fiddleford! It's a motley crew but I've found that participants from other dimensions really spices things up.

My... No.

[He touches his hair as though to make sure, though.]

You remember it being white, right? No, I went home again and...well, I guess I went back to before I was here to begin with? Or something.

[It confuses him so much.]

Course I don't mind! [It's just not fun if at least one of your players doesn't make you fear for your life.] Still have your character sheet from last time? Or thinking of rolling up a new one?

Yeah! I've been running a game here for a while now. You should come hang out. We can definitely use more people who actually know how to play.

[Ah right, the game. Sans has probably missed a few, especially lately--or maybe just this year in general--but he's feeling a bit better about things, so.]

[Kanji is definitely interested, and it seems like a good way to get to know other Wonderland residents a little better, but he doesn't know the first thing about tabletop games.]

Okay, what... is 'tabletop roleplay.' I mean, it sounds straightforward, and you - well, I guess you explained it already. Sorta.

I'm not sure I can get behind a math game here, Dipper.

I can only imagine what kind of characters that they've come up with... speakin' of which, who are you playin' as?

[Is it the same one as from when we played thirty years ago, or have you changed it up since then?]

I'd be honored to! I'll need to put together a new character sheet here, I reckon, but it shouldn't take long at all.

[Since he already has some idea of what character he wants to play, so he'll be able to fill it out quickly.]

It's not really about math. The math's just a-- [Don't say fun bonus.] --mechanics thing. So like, instead of just saying I stab the dragon in the heart, I roll for it to find out if I stabbed the dragon or not, and then add a bonus to it depending on how good at stabbing I am.

We're meeting up tonight!

Trust me, if I minded, I would never have anyone to play with.

[Most people don't know how. You gotta be comfortable teaching or you're playing with yourself.]

That's weird. But you remember Wonderland still?

You can offer. I feel like it'd take away some of the fun to have someone doing your math for you.

yeah. heh. i know i wouldn't mind a distraction.

[He shrugs.] sure. it's about time tahoma got back into things.
