[ Elijah’s device comes to life for all of Wonderland to see. This time he’s not alone. He appears to be seated in the tea room with a certain witch and Mikaelson. One that he quite recently got into a little family squabble with. Just another day in the life of the Mikaelson family. It’s a miracle if they’re not fighting. Or perhaps something is very wrong. ]

It is with great sympathy that I announce to any and all who knew him that Niklaus Mikaelson has returned home. To be with my recently departed sister I hope.

[ And Hope. He won’t say that part verbally though. Hope’s still a bit of a secret. Something Elijah will kill to protect. ]

At least I hope he’s returned home. If someone’s done something to him--[ He shifts and clears his throat. ]--this is not a battle you want to start. [ Talking to you Dean Winchester. ]

What my brother means to say, [ Kol begins, easily enough once Elijah finishes. ] is that if either of us learn that this was some sort of attack on our dear brother, I won’t hesitate to hand you over to me brother here in a handbasket, as a nice tasty snack. [ Seriously, vampires are kinda gross, man.

Despite the seeming alliance with his eldest brother, Kol looks tense, and downright agitated - whether he’s as bothered by Nik’s disappearance as Elijah is or if he’s just bothered to be near Elijah, well, that’s anyone’s guess. ] Or I might just finish what I’ve started if you’re a certain hunter. [ Because GOD DAMN IT CAMI. But he had better things to do than hunt down errant hunters, and honestly Klaus made enemies by the second; he didn’t have time for them, not when he was trying to figure out how to soothe Davina’s nerves on the matter of Angelus.

The Mikaelson witch shook his head before turning his unimpressed gaze back to Elijah. He’s played nice, threatened the locals, can he go back to his girl now? ]

Must you? [ Elijah’s attention turns from Kol to the device. Don’t spread it around that Elijah eats people for fun. Any lives he takes have a reason behind the attack. ] I don’t drink from the vein, but if I suspect you had anything to do with my brother’s disappearance I will handle you accordingly. [ Which means he might just tear out your heart or just bat your head off. Whatever feels appropriate for the situation. Elijah gives a cordial smile before he nods his head. ] That’s all I have to say on the matter. Have a lovely evening.

[ ooc: the brother's will be responding accordingly. if you want a specific one make sure to designate in the title. otherwise it's possible you'll just get both. ]

[ And she gets that. She really does. After all, Heaven had practically started a war because of her, because of the child she carried. It's not fair for anyone caught in the middle, and Charlie feels as if she'd be right there all over again if something like this were to happen. ]

I know. [ Her voice is soft. ] But you don't know if he actually did anything either. If you want, I can ask around. See if anyone knows something they're not willin' to say over this thing.

[ Even just killing Dean once would prove his point. That he can't just do things to his family and then not pay the consequences. Of course this all him working under the assumption that Dean is responsible. Niklaus really could just be at home. He's still waiting to hear from Davina. ]

That's kind of you, but if Dean did do something and he caught wind. [ He lets out a heavy sigh. ] I could live with myself if I was the cause of you getting his cross-hairs once more.

[ Her smile, this time, is a little sad. ]

I ain't afraid of him. [ Which is sort of a lie, but now that he's back to how he had been before, she thinks it might be okay. ] And I'd make sure to be careful. I have my ways of finding things out, and it'd be better than wanting to start some fight that doesn't need to happen.

I know you aren't. Which I have to say is incredibly foolish. Dean Winchester is a capable man and a killer. I don't wish that fate onto you.

[ There's no telling if the "cure" will actually hold for him. Too many variables could make it come back out. He doesn't trust it. ]

There is a witch performing a locator spell for him. If it comes up empty I'll leave Dean Winchester be. Promise you won't go poking around, Charlie.

[ She doesn't want to promise, but she gives him a nod anyway, staring down at her hands that can't be seen on the video. After a second, she sighs and lifts her head again. ]

I'll be good, but you have to do the same too. Are you, um, free later? [ She had said she owes him one, and besides, she could ask him about what he's planning to do if it turns out his brother hadn't gone home... She doesn't want to think of that, so she tries not to. Instead, she offers a bit of a smile. ] I made some time, so...

[ He nods with a smile. Clearly happy that it appears she'll be listening. He doesn't trust Dean not to repeat his performance on Charlie. If something did happen again then Dean Winchester would not have a hole he could hide in here in Wonderland. No angel would stop him. Nothing.

There's a slight surprised look that takes over his features when she asks if he's free. He hadn't thought she'd truly take him up on his offer. He likes it though. So he gives her a nod. ]

Did you? What did you have in mind?

[ She doesn't want to have to think about that until it actually becomes something she has to deal with, so it's pushed to the back of her mind as easily as the idea can be. Charlie wouldn't sit idly by and watch her friends or people she cares about tear each other apart, and she'd make sure Elijah knew that--if he didn't already. ]

I dunno. Nothin' too fancy. It ain't like I'm that kinda girl. [ Her smile says it's a tease. ] Maybe you could tell me what you're in the mood for.

[ She's not really up to guessing right now. ]

Well, the restaurants here aren't exactly vast and wide. I believe the only one I know of is the diner. Not exactly fancy.

[ Unless she plans to cook. He's not certain if she does cook. He's not sure if he wants to assume and make a fool of himself if she doesn't. He figures if she does she'll bring it up to him. ]

We can certainly make it fancy. If you'd like. You'll find though that I'm not picky. I'll go wherever your most comfortable.

I know that place too. [ She laughs quietly. To be fair, she'd even offered to give the people running it a hand. Considering her prior experience and all. ] But we could also take our chances with the closets and see what that gets us. If you wanna live dangerous. [ Though she hates that thing, it would be worth a shot. Plus, it would give them some privacy for the conversation she wants to have with them. ]

Tell me what you want, and I'll make it happen. [ Somehow. ]

Oh. [ He looks amused by the live dangerously comment. He's happy with anything though. He doesn't need to her to order anything overly specific for him. Especially when she was just paying him back for looking after her. ] Any sort of meat will do just fine.

[ He's lived too long to be that fussy. With her at least. ]

[ There's a dramatic sort of huff. ]

If you're gonna be like that, then it'll be the Charlie Special. [ Honestly, she has no idea what that even is, but in Paradise Falls, they'd always had some weird thing like that to entice the few people who came through. Diner rules, or something. ] Tonight okay? Or are you busy with, um, you know?

[ Seeing if his brother is still in Wonderland. ]

[ Elijah's incredibly amused when she gets fake huffy. The Charlie Special does sound interesting though. He's curious as to if it's a thing she's just created off the top of her head or something from home. ]

I can take a break to have dinner with you.

[ He'd drive himself crazy if he wasn't careful. ]

What does the Charlie Special entail? Or is it a surprise?

[ It isn't even a real thing, and honestly, it's more likely to be a Wonderland Closet Special than anything else. Still, that gets a laugh out of her, and she realizes, not for the first time, that she hasn't been able to do that a lot recently. ]

Guess you'll have to stop by and find out, huh? [ All that banter, though, fades into something a bit more genuine. ] You know where my room is. Come by whenever.

[ He eats blood bags from the closet. He's hardly going to flinch if she gets an entire meal made via the closet. He trusts the closet to give him blood then he trusts them to give him actual human food as well. ]

I'll be there with bells on. [ Elijah nods his head. ] I'll leave things in my brother's capable hands after speaking with the witch that's searching for Niklaus.

Bells or not, I'll still be there. [ Her smile is short, though there's certainly more to it than the happiness she feels. ] Just be careful.

[ Charlie doesn't know a thing about witches, not really, but she's heard and read all those stories from her world. It's hard to say, honestly, and maybe when she sees him, she can ask him about that too. ]

Of course. I always am.

[ Elijah gives her one last smile. ]

I should be off if I'm to clear things up and make dinner.

Tell me about it when I see you. [ And with that, she ends the message. ]
