[ Elijah’s device comes to life for all of Wonderland to see. This time he’s not alone. He appears to be seated in the tea room with a certain witch and Mikaelson. One that he quite recently got into a little family squabble with. Just another day in the life of the Mikaelson family. It’s a miracle if they’re not fighting. Or perhaps something is very wrong. ]

It is with great sympathy that I announce to any and all who knew him that Niklaus Mikaelson has returned home. To be with my recently departed sister I hope.

[ And Hope. He won’t say that part verbally though. Hope’s still a bit of a secret. Something Elijah will kill to protect. ]

At least I hope he’s returned home. If someone’s done something to him--[ He shifts and clears his throat. ]--this is not a battle you want to start. [ Talking to you Dean Winchester. ]

What my brother means to say, [ Kol begins, easily enough once Elijah finishes. ] is that if either of us learn that this was some sort of attack on our dear brother, I won’t hesitate to hand you over to me brother here in a handbasket, as a nice tasty snack. [ Seriously, vampires are kinda gross, man.

Despite the seeming alliance with his eldest brother, Kol looks tense, and downright agitated - whether he’s as bothered by Nik’s disappearance as Elijah is or if he’s just bothered to be near Elijah, well, that’s anyone’s guess. ] Or I might just finish what I’ve started if you’re a certain hunter. [ Because GOD DAMN IT CAMI. But he had better things to do than hunt down errant hunters, and honestly Klaus made enemies by the second; he didn’t have time for them, not when he was trying to figure out how to soothe Davina’s nerves on the matter of Angelus.

The Mikaelson witch shook his head before turning his unimpressed gaze back to Elijah. He’s played nice, threatened the locals, can he go back to his girl now? ]

Must you? [ Elijah’s attention turns from Kol to the device. Don’t spread it around that Elijah eats people for fun. Any lives he takes have a reason behind the attack. ] I don’t drink from the vein, but if I suspect you had anything to do with my brother’s disappearance I will handle you accordingly. [ Which means he might just tear out your heart or just bat your head off. Whatever feels appropriate for the situation. Elijah gives a cordial smile before he nods his head. ] That’s all I have to say on the matter. Have a lovely evening.

So far since being here I've had a grenade tossed into my face and been buried alive by one individual. Gutted by another. My sister kidnapped and turned into a snack by the same one. I'm tired of losing people.

You haven't anything to worry about, darling; there are people here who would like to see me and my family harmed, [ The witch pauses, looking over to Elijah with an unimpressed look. ] And whilst sometimes I can agree with the sentiment with regards to me family -- I know you are not one of those people.

[ well this is...concerning. but then, the girl who threatened to freeze the whole mansion and those inside it if she's not presented with her sister shouldn't be judging. elsa flexes her fingers out of habit and tidies down a dress that's made from, well, ice. ]

Despite having done it myself only recently, I don't think we should be threatening these people.

[ regal but soft at the same time. ]

I miss my sister too but no one seems to have any control over anything here.

I'm not threatening. Simply--bringing awareness. I'm growing tired of having my family toyed with.

[ Niklaus is not perfect, but he's doubt the man has done anything to deserve being taken. ]

If Niklaus has truly gone home then all is well. If he's been snatched by a fellow resident? Things will escalate.

[She wouldn't have done this if it wasn't for Kol. While she has no issues, currently, with Elijah - it was more of a neutral acceptance on her part that he wasn't the big threat to her. Not like Klaus.]

I did another locator spell. He's not here. I don't think he's being held anywhere. I doubt if he'd actually been taken he'd have stayed quiet for this long.

[She also met with Angelus, or rather Angel, but that's a matter for later.]

[ Davina's response seems to cause Kol to relax just a bit, still making it no secret he doesn't want to be there with his brother. But he had wanted to talk to Kol - and it was a family matter, one that Kol wouldn't simply ignore, not with how much he'd wanted to matter to them. ]

Aah, yeah I think he's gone home too, myself.

[ Which is why it's a good thing he looted his room ages ago. ]

[ They haven't always been on the best terms. He did try once upon a time to be an ally to Davina. He believed in her. A part of him still does. She's a strong girl. Still standing after everything that was done to her. Elijah admires that immensely. ]

I want to thank you for looking for him. I know you despise my brother with every fiber of your body, but thank you. I know you didn't do it for me, but I appreciate your maturity, Davina.

[ Elijah's voice is stern and lacking the usual amused tone at Dean's general existence. Instead he looks downright pissed. ]

And you have the nerve to call me a monster.

[ He knows all about your little demon stint. Most of it told to him by Crowley and Charlie. Charlie had broken fingers because of Dean. Something Elijah fixed with his blood. ]

He's actually gone? [katherine is almost in disbelief at first hearing the news but really after months having to be cautious so klaus wouldn't learn her identity, her relief is pretty obvious. with rebekah and klaus gone, at least it leaves her with the two mikalesons who don't want her dead either and it helps that she likes them both too] Maybe this place finally got sick of him.

Truly. At least that's what I've arrived at. Multiple locator spells have turned up nothing.

[ He doesn't really want Niklaus gone these days, but he takes comfort that his brother will go home to live his life and be reunited with his daughter finally. Stop their mother and have a chance to just--be. ]

[Two Mikaelsons for the price of one: how wonderful.

Stefan has lived his life trying to make as few enemies as possible. Those darker periods had never been by choice, no matter how much anyone (including himself) thinks they tie directly into who he actually is at his core. Nope. Not a bad guy. He's the good guy, and he sees Elijah as the only good Mikaelson, so why wouldn't he extend a figurative hand of peace?]

At least he'll be alive at home, right? [Okay, none of them believe that he means that to be a positive, so he sighs and shakes his head.] If you were all getting along, sorry you won't have another one of your siblings around. [He isn't going to say it aloud, but he feels fortunate that Damon is there with him. He couldn't blame them for any weird desire they had for having their brother around. Family is strange like that.]

But, at least any of the enemies he's made here won't have to worry about him anymore.

[Wait, he's supposed to be nice: not imply that Klaus was probably a douche while in Wonderland. From his tone, he's not sarcastic or humored, talking purely for the fact that he can and that it seemed appropriate for him to respond to Klaus' leaving.

Now who is he going to be excessively angry at, though?!]

[ He does appreciate Stefan Salvatore more than Damon. He's more logical and not looking to rattle cages. He appreciates that he extends a sort of olive branch to him right now. It's good to have people he can consider allies. ]

Very true. I know you don't care for Niklaus so I appreciate the sentiment. [ He was always the smarter Salvatore. ] Niklaus has been behaving himself for the most part. He's got a few rough spots, but it's to be expected when he goes anywhere.

[Bill didn't care who in the goddamn Hell-universe "Niklaus Mikaelson" was until he arrived in Wonderland about a week ago, but as far as he's concerned it's wasteful to lose that kind of volatile power. The screen screams black and white noise while a Lynchian autotune sings the sweet song of misplaced blame.]

[ That's new. Not at all what he was expecting, but it's already been figured out that Niklaus has gone home. Davina had been kind enough to put her magic to use. ]

[ That's it, that's the fucking response and maybe a bit of disgusted squinting before Kol looks at his elder brother for some answer on what the fuck that is. ]

[She doesn't reply right away. Certainly this isn't the first time she's seen an announcement of someone going home, or even heard of it happening for a person from her world. Honestly, lately it'd seemed like a bit of a revolving door for them, people leaving, some coming back with new memories, others lacking them--

And some just staying gone.

Elijah and Kol wouldn't make the announcement without being sure. Cami knows that, and yet it doesn't stop her from going to the fourth floor to check anyway. Just another room, like Cami's bedroom and her office had been before she claimed them, made them her own. What had once been Klaus's space now lacked any of his presence, the artistic and expensive touches that spoke of him. Yet even with that certainty next she pulls out her phone, scrolls through the extensive list of names hoping that maybe, maybe she might still see his listed among them.

She doesn't. She isn't surprised, although that does little to help the way it hurts knowing that Klaus is no longer here. From her first day he'd been a constant presence; her first event had featured Cami playing the role of his anchor, desperately trying to offer stability to mind even more troubled than usual. Her first (and thank God, only) death had been followed by his steady watch, ensuring she remained safe after.

Her first Valentine's day in Wonderland ended with the gift of a necklace she wears now, a pendant she traces with her fingers as she thinks through all the memories.

He'd always been there for her. Now he wouldn't be, and probably wouldn't remember it even if he did come back. She's lost other people, and she knows what happens next, even if none of those prior times hit her quite so hard as this.

So after that time she takes to be certain, and to gather her thoughts after, Cami starts the feed.]

Not that Klaus wouldn't approve of you threatening the population at large, but you both know he hasn't been kidnapped by anyone here. [Just as well as she does. Cami draws a breath, feeling far too tired for this.] So please, just--just don't.

Davina has already done her part to help put my fears to bed.

[ Meaning she did a few locator spells. All is fine, Cami. Besides Elijah didn't exactly say he was going to "hurt" anyone. That was Kol who said he'd let Elijah eat people. Elijah had just said he'd handle things. Very different. Distinct wording. ]
