[ it's been a long time, months and months, since sansa had addressed wonderland. many moon cycles came and gone and people has well. today finds her in silks the color of the bluest skies and her hair in an elaborated braid that might remind some of a departed queen whose hair was silver. ]

Good people of Wonderland, I hope today finds you well.

[ formal and perhaps distanced, too. sansa had kept to her chambers for days on end, had not traded words with anyone. the stings were perhaps a bit too much. she had given herself some time to collect herself again and when the need came.

well, there she is. ]

Many people came and gone from this Wonderland of ours and I am missing a companion of my own. A direwolf named Lyanne I have sent to search for some friends that I have found - have departed from among us and were sent free.

[ her voice doesn't quiver, she tidies her gown and speaks again ]

She is highly likely still searching yet I must request that if you happen upon her, you shall tell her to find me. She is a direwolf of the north, larger than a wolf and smaller than a bear, her eyes are golden and her coat is that of grey for.

[ a beat and ]

And I am Lady Sansa of House Stark.

Dragon blood, huh? We had a king out of lore that supposedly had dragon blood. Calenhad. His line still rules in one of our countries. [ Brennan had picked up a lot of random lore traipsing about Thedas. ]

So Houses where you come from take their sigil very seriously? Do they all have a connection with the creature they proclaim, or is that a chosen few? [ His house had a knack for the horses they were known for, but he's not sure he can claim a connection like she apparently has. Even if he is uncannily good with the beasts. ]

Not always. Some do. Not all of my house walked among Direwolves and not all of her house have kept company with dragons.

[ queen daenerys told her once of a brother who was not truly as much of a dragon as she was. ]

some only take pride in their own.

Well, I suppose sometimes that pride could be warranted. [ He rubs a hand idly along his jaw as he considers her. ] Might I ask what land you hail from, my lady? Most of the others I have encountered here seem to come from places without understanding of such things, and far stranger discoveries than what my world has.

[alayne]

Westeros. That is the name of my realm. I am Sansa Stark of Winterfell, it is - the north of my realm.

[ an odd thing to even speak of. she was so used to being alayne stone from the vale. being sansa stark again shall always make her nervous. but the man is from another realm altogether. ]

Thedas. A fair distance from any other world I've heard of people drawn from here. There's only a few I've encountered that are familiar with it at all.

I'm Brennan Trevelyan, my Lady Stark. Of Ostwick, in the Free Marches, although most recently I've been occupied in the southern countries and the Inquisition there.

[alayne]

I have not heard of it, no. But then, I am now the only remaining soul from my own realm. It would seem that some of us are our realm's sole representative.

[ she smiles a little ]

You are well met, Sir Brennan. The Inquisition, what is it? is it a guard of a sort?

That sounds rather lonely, my lady. My condolences. If it helps to speak of it, I'd be happy to hear tales of your lands. Or, if at some point you'd prefer distraction, I'm sure my companion and I can find an adventurous tale or three to regale you with.

[ They certainly had no shortage of those, after all. ]

An organization formed to return order to our world. There was recently a great war that broke out across the lands between the mages and the Templars - the order of soldiers trained to guard them and guard against them. The situation had been growing more and more out of hand in recent years until the conflict was inevitable. Someone else with ambitious plans of his own sought to take advantage of the chaos to grasp more power than any one being should have. We sprung up in the wake of it to keep him from succeeding.

[alayne]

I would hear tale of yours. My world - I have no happy tales to tale of it, Ser, they would only grieve you.

[ once, she would have had better stories to tell, of times of old and knights and ladies but lately all sansa can remember of her realm is dark and sad and hopeless. ]

I know well of such men. Those who will rise on the ruin of others.

[ joff, she thinks. cersei. ]

My own world is at war too for a long time. It seems it shall never end.

[ He gives her a sympathetic look at that. ]

That bad, is it? My apologies, Lady. War rarely brings about any good for anyone, no matter what those who cause it may claim.
