[ it's been a long time, months and months, since sansa had addressed wonderland. many moon cycles came and gone and people has well. today finds her in silks the color of the bluest skies and her hair in an elaborated braid that might remind some of a departed queen whose hair was silver. ]
Good people of Wonderland, I hope today finds you well.
[ formal and perhaps distanced, too. sansa had kept to her chambers for days on end, had not traded words with anyone. the stings were perhaps a bit too much. she had given herself some time to collect herself again and when the need came.
well, there she is. ]
Many people came and gone from this Wonderland of ours and I am missing a companion of my own. A direwolf named Lyanne I have sent to search for some friends that I have found - have departed from among us and were sent free.
[ her voice doesn't quiver, she tidies her gown and speaks again ]
She is highly likely still searching yet I must request that if you happen upon her, you shall tell her to find me. She is a direwolf of the north, larger than a wolf and smaller than a bear, her eyes are golden and her coat is that of grey for.
[ a beat and ]
And I am Lady Sansa of House Stark.

[It's as tactful as Lily can manage to make it, frowning at the thought.]
I'll gladly help you look. I know she should be easy to spot on her own, but-- a little magic could do the trick, if you're eager to see her back sooner rather than later.
[Video]
[ then by all means she might and sansa worries. she imagined lyanne returning with queen daenerys or mr gold or - but then they are gone and worse, now her direwolf seems to not hurry to return either. ]
magic?
[ she seems surprised and then, more timidly: ]
you - are a sorceress?
[Video]
[There's a fine distinction between the two, and Lily makes every effort to keep her voice both steady and kind as she explains-- she knows some people are still hesitant about magic, if they're familiar with it at all.]
A good witch, I promise. There are locator spells that might help, if she's gone missing.

I promise, if I see her...she can understand commands like that?
[He wants to be sure there's nothing special he'd have to do in order to not have his face ripped off by what sounds like a giant wolf?]

[ gently, she wishes to correct not scold. she tries for a smile, though those seem to be harder for her as of late. ]
if you see her, please tell her sansa is searching for her. she would know where to go. they are clever creatures.

She's not just a pet, is she? She's more than that. Right?

Uh, I'll let you know if she runs by here. I'm pretty sure it'd be impossible to miss a giant wolf running around, so I'm sure somebody'll spot her soon.
[Unless they don't, which...isn't a great thought, so he doesn't bring it up.]
I feel like I haven't seen you around in a while though. How've you been?
[Given the last several events now, it's probably worth asking. He understands the need to close herself off though - he has a tendency to turn into a bit of a hermit himself.]
Video
[ as for his other words, she cannot really deny them, can she? ]
I was not well enough to keep company, I fear. I am better now, however. I hope you have been keeping as well as possible, Once-ler.
Video
[It was a tough one to recover from though. He's trying to play it off lightly, but he hates the events that mess with his mind the most. They zero right in and make him forget all of the hard lessons he's learned, so when the event ends it always feels like he's had to re-learn them over and over again.]
Glad to hear you're better though - and I'm sure Lyanne will probably come right out as soon as you come looking.
[Every animal he's ever known has been kind of needy like that, as long as they liked the person they were demanding attention from, and he knows that direwolf is very protective of Sansa. He's pretty sure she won't stay away long if she knows Sansa's around]

I've never heard of a Direwolf. [ She thinks of Bigby, smiling faintly. ] But if I see her on the grounds - Is she safe to approach?
video;
[ it is me, and it is odd. sansa was lady sansa and then she was nothing at all, a traitor's daughter from a house that was nearly drowned in blood and tears and then she was alayne who was naught but a bastard girl.
or perhaps she was lady sansa all along. ]
I do not know that anyone outside of my realm did and even there, direwolves are rare. they are native to the North, to the parts of it that are always covered in snow and frost.
[ except for those who ventured south of the wall, those who were companions to the children of house stark. so many of them are gone now. ]
she would not hurt anyone as long as she is not threatened.
video;
[ in that her husband and six of her seven children are wolves but that's neither here nor there ]
I'll be careful. You found her here, then? She didn't arrive with you?

[By tried to eat her, Beatrice of course means she didn't get anywhere close because why would she get anywhere near a giant wolf? She's not stupid. But she doesn't mind a little exaggeration when it comes to things that have teeth about the size of her.]

[ but it worries her. wonderland is filled with oddities and a talking bird is not the oddest of them all, by far. if lyanne tried to hurt her, she must be stopped lest she'll try again. the direwolf is quiet and clever and is able of killing her and sansa promised, she swore on her honor that she will harm no one ]
but if it is my direwolf, I promise, she shall not approach you again.

[ said with a bright, rare smile. sansa has lost too much recently but the pines twins are something she has gained.
something she is not terrified of losing. she's so well-educated in the art of loss. ]
you must promise me to be careful, however.

[ said with a smile that makes its way to her lips without her noticing or minding. ]
how quick and how silent direwolves can be, despite their size. My brother Robb - his direwolf was much bigger than lyanne and one never heard him, not once.
[ but there was one even quieter, she thinks. Ghost, the direwolf that chose Jon Snow but the thought of them fill her with questions and an odd longing and so she says nothing ]
video;
Well, Mabel and I found him once, right? [And thinking about exactly who they had to go through to get her makes him go slightly red. Dipper does not like Sansa's mirror.] I'm sure we can again.

Lassie got lost?
[A giant wolf on the loose is just what they need, because of course it is.]
So I take it nature walks in the woods are cancelled until further notice.
video;
if you fear for your ankles so gravely. if she wanted to eat you or yours, she would have done so already.
[ adam, plz. ]
she knows you are a friend. she shall never harm you.
[ and just for good measures, ]
she's not lost, a direwolf never is. I reckon she is still searching only there is no one left to search for.

Today's message catches his interest because of the information as well as the lady's way of speaking - much more formal than most of the people he's encountered here, he notes. It's an almost-familiar cadence that reminds him of home. ]
A direwolf is it? I'm afraid I have not yet encountered such a thing, my lady, but if I see her wandering the grounds, I will be sure to pass along your word. Larger than a wolf and smaller than a bear is still a beast that should be fairly hard to miss.
[Video]
[ she grants him the title for he seems to be well-spoken and she does not wish to mistake a knight for smallfolk, it is much safer the other way around. at worse, she had granted a compliment rather than an offense. ]
to my knowledge, there are no other direwolves in this realm. If you should see a great shadow, it's likely her.
