I'll be honest, I don't know how all of you are living here.
Not existing, I don't need an explanation for that. I just...

[She's trapped by a future that hasn't happened yet. Hook doesn't have to tell her she's gone dark for her to know he was thrown by the fact that she wasn't. If there's going to be a fight, she's going to lose. In his future, she's the Dark One.

And to have it not happen just because she's here, when she doesn't know why, or for how long, or what this place wants out of her is maddening.]

I feel like I'm waiting for someone to flip the switch and send me back to my life. And I don't know whether to want that because it's mine or to want this because it could always be worse.

[She could be the person Hook thought she was. And eventually, she will be.]

I'll have to talk to her, see if some of this starts to make sense for me.

[ Because none of it does, even a few months in. She thought she'd be used to this by now, instead it's only more frustrating as it goes on. ]

[There's no question of that. There's never been any question of it, but there is a slight snag.]

I want to figure out how to remember Wonderland when I go though. My friends and I have got a book series to ruin.

If you figure that out, you'd better let me keep the original.

[ It has plenty of sentimental value for her. ]

But I'd like to see you write a better story.

Either you'll have the rarest copy in the world, or everyone'll think you've got a very odd counterfeit.

[Since, after all, if it doesn't happen the way it's supposed to, the books probably wouldn't be the same.]

Thanks. I like to think we will. Though, I'm in the market for a catchier title than "James Potter and the Time He and His Friends Ended a War Twenty Years Early and Lived to Tell the Tale."

Who says I'd share it?

[ With Henry, and probably no one else. She doesn't want the stories to turn out the way they're supposed to. It feels like James is in a situation not all that different than hers; when they get home, their first order of business has to be to change their future. She just wishes she knew how.]

Putting your name in the front of it?

[ Yeah, that's what she latches on to.]

Get rid of the spoilers and I'd read it.

Of course I'd put my name on it! I suppose I could still use Harry's, but since he'd be a baby it might be somewhat misleading. "Harry Potter and the Time He Chewed on His Feet"? "Harry Potter and His Wonderful Parents Who Are Very Much Alive"? Or perhaps a bit further in time - "Harry Potter and the Incredibly Normal Year at Hogwarts"?

[This is kind of fun, and he's laughing a lot off screen.]

Maybe I ought to leave the re-naming to Lily.
