Out of curiosity, how many of you have been to different dimensions, not counting this one? Alternate worlds? Other parallel planes of existence? Or... engaged in any form of time travel, for that matter. How did you do it? Was it even on purpose, or by some fluke?

I myself spent three decades adrift in the multiverse. Fascinating stuff.

Absolutely! My assistant and I built a multidimensional portal thirty years ago by my perspective. He's here in Wonderland and the night we tested it is his present, my past.

[And since it isn't a secret anymore and he's about to deconstruct it--]

Were you here last summer when there was a gravity anomaly? My brother and I--and another scientist--collaborated on a similar project to try and find a way to escape. All it did was lead to a very nauseating portal from the basement to the swimming pool.

When I was in school, a friend managed to get their hands on a time turner. It's a charmed device that allows one to travel through time. I've only done it for a few hours into the past, which allowed me to manage both a trip out as well as my classes.

[Ford laughs lightly and replies as though he's speaking of a far off fond memory.] Heh, yes three decades! I'd barely been home a month before being brought here. Dimensional travel is a wild ride.

Uhhh...I'm. Not sure? I-It definitely wasn't on purpose though, that's for sure. Plus it might be Limbo and I'm not really sure that...counts. But other people just like live there like it isn't Limbo? ...B-But I think I already told you about it, so...

[He shrugs, and makes a noise that sounds a bit like trying to say "I don't know" without any of the consonants. But then he gasps suddenly.]

To be honest? I really didn't expect it at all. It makes my travel across dimensions seem a little less lonely in retrospect.

Time travel and alternate timelines are certainly a thing where I come from, though I personally do not have any experience going between them.

I just know that most everyone here from my world experienced a vastly different series of events than I have.

Hasn't everyone? For my particular universe, it's a fairly common occurrence. Depending on the line of work you're in, they might even be classed as a known hazard. And then you get into realms and planes of existence.

And there are as many ways of travelling as there are universes.

Generally speaking, no. I've found it's not common in many universes, but out of only those I've visited. Considering there's an infinite number of dimensions I could be entirely wrong! Who knows.

Seeing as you're more familiar with the subject than many, [it's very difficult to tell if he's joking or not, but he does seem sincerely interested] have you any ideas on escaping Wonderland?

I've gone through portals to different realms before. No time travel, but alternate realities. Like, one where my mom wasn't my mom anymore and didn't even know me. That was on purpose, I created the portal. But...other people in my family have gone through accidental portals.

I went to Camelot through a portal. And the Underworld.

The portal I built was made on purpose, but falling through it thirty years ago was a complete accident. I'm starting to think portals should generally be avoided for everyone's own safety.

Oh, tricky. [And by 'tricky', by his tone he means 'interesting and I want to know more but I'm not going to be rude and press it.'] This is why I don't engage in time travel. Technically speaking, any travel where I exist is time travel, but you know what I mean.
