video } entry 2

[Dipper looks even more frazzled than usual. The stress lines that always surround his eyes are more pronounced than usual.]

So, you might have noticed a really strange transmission that went through? That... that's from my world. His name's Bill Cipher. He looks like a surprisingly well dressed triangle, and he's... some kind of demon, I guess. He can get into your head and mess with your dreams and just be creepy.

[He leans in closer to the camera.]

Whatever you do, don't trust him. Really, it's probably best to run as far away as you can if you see him. And let me know if he somehow gets into your head. I've gotten him out before, I can do it again.

[He sits back a bit.]

...that's about it. Any questions?

You'd be surprised what people are willing to do when it comes to the things that matter, like family and love.

So just how strong is this guy anyway? I mean, messing with your head is one thing, but do you mean like, Wonderland level screwing around?

The Queen? As in the Queen of Hearts.

[Speaking of naïve life choices…]

I don’t buy it. I mean, yeah, he’s super powerful like you said, but so are a bunch of other people stuck in Wonderland. It’s way more likely that he’s just as trapped here as the rest of us are.
belovedson: (this is crazy even for us)

[Some magic user actually gets a grin out of Neal; he's pretty sure no one where he's from has ever thought of the Dark One that way.]

I'm not saying he is. I mean, he's a sentient triangle. [Definitely earns points on the weirdness scale.] But different worlds, exist where I'm from too, including a different version of Wonderland. And if you take a look at some of the people cropping up over the network? There are a lot more than just magic users trapped here. People who routine go to different worlds, angels, demons--not triangle-shaped ones, but still demons--immortal supernatural whatevers.

There's a ton of power already trapped here, that's been trapped here for a long time. Now somebody you recognize from your version of the universe shows up, same as anyone else would, someone you know screws with people's heads, and wants you to believe he's got a thing going with the Queen or whoever?

I mean, I know anything's possible, especially here--but I don't believe that.
belovedson: (there are worse things)

[Actually, Neal’s not even close to laughing; Dipper’s taking this all really seriously, and if he honestly believes the triangle might be in cahoots with the Queen, it’s something to make note of. But he’s not going to just buy into the idea that something out there is actually strong enough to be on par with this place when it hasn’t come from this place. There’s too much trapped there already, like he’s said.]

Kid, I almost married a minion of my evil grandfather Peter Pan. You want someone who knows that anything’s possible, you’re talking to him. I’m not saying that there isn’t a chance Bill’s in league with the people in charge or whatever, but how are you so sure that he is? I mean, what proof is there other than the say so from a triangle who purposely screws with people’s heads, and who has a reason to get back at you for beating him once already?

[Not that he doesn’t look like an honest triangle, but you know.]

So yeah, I’m not buying into his claim that he’s working with the people in charge of Wonderland—but that doesn’t mean he’s not someone that we shouldn’t look out for, like you said.
