[Dipper looks even more frazzled than usual. The stress lines that always surround his eyes are more pronounced than usual.]
So, you might have noticed a really strange transmission that went through? That... that's from my world. His name's Bill Cipher. He looks like a surprisingly well dressed triangle, and he's... some kind of demon, I guess. He can get into your head and mess with your dreams and just be creepy.
[He leans in closer to the camera.]
Whatever you do, don't trust him. Really, it's probably best to run as far away as you can if you see him. And let me know if he somehow gets into your head. I've gotten him out before, I can do it again.
[He sits back a bit.]
...that's about it. Any questions?

Well, the very least Adam could do is not let the kid take other people down with him.]
I want to to know how to handle this thing so I'm not a sitting duck, pretty sure we all would. So wow me with what you got, Mr. Miyagi, 'cause I'm not about to hang out and get killed, either. And if you want to go running after demons afterward, knock yourself out.
[Okay, so maybe he's exaggerating with that last bit, he doesn't actually want Dipper to end up red mist and find out the hard way how people revive here, but the point stands: Adam's not relying on a pre-teen to fight his battles for him. He wants to know everything he can now, not after the boy's done poking demon with a stick for shits and giggles.]

[He leans forward, scowling.]
And the thing about going into peoples' heads? It's not a game. You really want me to just give all of Wonderland a free ticket to the mindscape? Must be nice having no secrets or enemies at all.

[Like try years of hallucinations in the pit that had been no more than mental bear traps, ready to spring and shred what was left of his consciousness a little more each time.
Dipper's seriously talking to the wrong guy if he's looking for someone to soapbox at on that count.]
So you didn't get him out of your head, it was someone else's? What is that, like double possession?
[Now that's a pleasant thought. Not.]

More like... quadruple in this case. I brought back-up. But it worked out.

And it sounds like Dipper had gotten lucky, too. After coming out the other end of possession, Adam's a firm believer that dicking around in somebody's head is a big "no-no," no matter who's doing it.]
What happened?

[That's the part Adam's most interested in. If he thinks of it like a possession, like what Michael had done to him, then that could be the best way to fight the fucker off.]
How?

And you just... kicked him out.
[Is that it?]

[Adam has his own suspicions. If his own experiences as a kid are anything to go by, no kid owns up to anything completely without having their arm twisted.]
So all we know so far is that it takes jumping into someone's head to stop it from jumping into someone's head.
[No other weaknesses? Yeah, this is totally reassuring.]

When talk's all you got, you can tone it down, thanks.
[Having more attitude than concrete information is great, but not when dream demons are on the table and a little kid who thinks he's hot stuff wants to be their only line of defense.
Yeah, that's definitely not happening. This is his ass on the line, too.]
You do that--just try not to waste any lives while you're at it. I'll look into some stuff. Thanks for the update, I guess.
