[ So, it's been a while since John's put his face out there, but considering the last time (and everything that's happened since), maybe it's not so hard to figure out why. Nevertheless, this suitably fine Sunday finds him taking the risk once again. It's not so much an attempt to be social as much as a way to stay connected without getting too close. ]

Hey, everyone. [ He waves. ] 'Bout a year an' a half ago, me an' the residents of Wonderland — some of 'em, at least — played a get-to-know-you game. It was pretty amusin' so I thought I'd bring it back, maybe add a few things, too.

Here's how it works: I'll says somethin' like, "If you were a superhero..." then you'll answer, "I'd be the Batman 'cause I'm from Gotham, my entire wardrobe's black, and I've smoked a pack a day for ten years, so my voice sounds like this." [ For the last part, he lowers his voice to a near-comical growl. ] Pick somethin' that suits you, or somethin' that's funny, and then when you're done answerin', come up with a similar one for me.

If you wanna play that, I can start us off with an easy one: If you were an animal...

Now, if that's not your game, I've got this totally original Wonderland Bingo card. [ He shows off the image of the BINGO card to the camera. ] Fill it out for yourself. If you can manage a bingo — that's five squares in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally — then I'll personally give you some kinda prize. Maybe dinner, I dunno. 

Finally, if none of those are all that appealin', I'm thinkin' of maybe gettin' people together for a friendly game of Truth or Dare. If you're interested in that instead, just lemme know...

I- yeah, yeah I do. It's weird. Like- my friend Eugene lost a leg and he says he can still feel it sometimes. It's like that. I mean, without obviously losing a limb. Phantom memories.

Yeah, exactly. Can't say it's necessarily a bad thing.

[ Although, to be fair, he can think of plenty of ways that Wonderland can use that against them. ]

She owned the land which Abel, our township, was built on. She's a survivalist. I mean, I always thought those guys were crazy before the outbreak but now... we all owe her our lives.

She's not here though.

[ Sometimes he's ambivalent about that sort of thinking, but since he doesn't really have many people back home it feels a bit different for him. ]

At least now I know who to keep an eye out for, just in case.

Maybe. She's good to have around. Organised. She knows what she's doing which is never a bad thing.

I saw her mouth off to a bunch of bandits who had a gun to her head. She wouldn't tell them anything.

[ Blake's not sure if that sounds like a good thing or not (although he'd likely act in a similar vein if he were in the same situation, let's be real). ]

Take it she survived that encounter. What'd she do for a living then? [ Come to think of it, what did Sam do for a living? Because John's pretty sure he never asked. ]

Yeah. If the zoms didn't get Janine, nothing else is going to. And she... well, uh, y'know, I don't actually know. She's a pretty talented electrical engineer. I always assumed she was some kind of military.

[ It seems like Wonderland has a type, doesn't it? ]

Well, if she ever shows, you be sure to point her in my direction. Wouldn't mind meetin' someone like that.

[Sam has to laugh at that, and there's definitely a fondness to his voice when he talks about her.]

She's prickly and kind of overbearing sometimes but yeah. She's pretty great.

Maybe sometimes. I suppose sending Runner Five out to get D&D supplies might have been a little bit... well, D&D night is fun anyway and Five joins in sometimes too so, I think it was worth it.

Have you talked to Charlie yet? Pretty sure she's into D&D. Maybe you can get a game goin' or somethin'.

[ Hell, Blake might even join in if someone asks him nicely. ]

I could probably get Billy to play as well. That would be awesome.
