[ So, it's been a while since John's put his face out there, but considering the last time (and everything that's happened since), maybe it's not so hard to figure out why. Nevertheless, this suitably fine Sunday finds him taking the risk once again. It's not so much an attempt to be social as much as a way to stay connected without getting too close. ]

Hey, everyone. [ He waves. ] 'Bout a year an' a half ago, me an' the residents of Wonderland — some of 'em, at least — played a get-to-know-you game. It was pretty amusin' so I thought I'd bring it back, maybe add a few things, too.

Here's how it works: I'll says somethin' like, "If you were a superhero..." then you'll answer, "I'd be the Batman 'cause I'm from Gotham, my entire wardrobe's black, and I've smoked a pack a day for ten years, so my voice sounds like this." [ For the last part, he lowers his voice to a near-comical growl. ] Pick somethin' that suits you, or somethin' that's funny, and then when you're done answerin', come up with a similar one for me.

If you wanna play that, I can start us off with an easy one: If you were an animal...

Now, if that's not your game, I've got this totally original Wonderland Bingo card. [ He shows off the image of the BINGO card to the camera. ] Fill it out for yourself. If you can manage a bingo — that's five squares in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally — then I'll personally give you some kinda prize. Maybe dinner, I dunno.

Finally, if none of those are all that appealin', I'm thinkin' of maybe gettin' people together for a friendly game of Truth or Dare. If you're interested in that instead, just lemme know...

[ Yep. That's what John Blake's offering Wonderland this week. Hope you guys enjoy his newfound interest in doing very little that could be considered productive. ]

[ Blake shakes his head. ] We've only got Batman. Just the one. And a coupla criminals to keep 'im busy. We've got comics 'bout the others, though. Like... they're fictional where I'm from, but the Batman's real.

[ It's all rather confusing when you start mapping it out. ]

As opposed to them all bein' real, or the Batman bein' fictional, I mean.

Huh. That's weird. The Justice League has been around for years. [And even the superheroes who hadn't been part of it had still been pretty well known.] I guess we're from closer versions of the same place than other people.

[He's right though; it can definitely get confusing.]

What about Robin? Does your Batman have his sidekick?

No sidekicks. No Robin — not like you're thinkin'.

No Justice League, either. Who all's in that again? Superman, Wonder Woman... —only saw the comics here, from ones friend gave me to look at.

That's too bad for your world. Mine is pretty awesome.

[Zatanna is totally allowed to brag about the guy she might have a thing for, okay.

Oh, but he's asking for the list. Blake isn't the first, and Zatanna begins counting off on her fingers.]

Those two, plus Batman, Aquaman, Hawkman... [There's a pretty significant list all told. It takes her a minute to rattle off all the names, then she gives Blake an expectant look.]

Anyone else familiar outside of a comic book?

[ Blake's a bit impressed with her retention ability, but then again, he knew most of his co-workers, too, so why should she be any different? ]

Yeah, yeah, lotta those names sound familiar.

That's a bit crazy, right? Maybe you oughta check off that box 'bout bein' fictional just in case.

[This is all pretty basic stuff in her world--not to mention that one of her last memories from home was going over a plan to stop all of those people she listed.]

Maybe. But honestly, I'm really hoping I don't make bingo here. [Especially not with some of the options. Murdering and being murdered? No thanks.]

That's a good goal, really. Kinda make light of things 'cause they suck, but bein' safe an' avoidin' trouble's the way to go. Hard as that is here.

[ Patented John Blake speech is a go! ]

Well, yeah. I'm pretty sure no one who got killed was looking to be.

[She shudders a little at the thought, but she gets what Blake is trying to do at least.]

I'm not exactly looking to avoid trouble completely though. I meant what I said about being a hero back in my world. I really want to help out where I can here, especially since I know there are kids my age around.
