002 ✦ Video/Action for Coffee Shop

Ok, I'll try and keep this short and sweet. There should have been a little gift outside your door in the form of chocolate with a nifty logo on it.

[A task that would have been ridiculously annoying if she hadn't had help in the form of one Percy Jackson.]

Since I've been here for like 6ish months, and it's clear I'm not going home any time soon - I figured I might as well do something semi-productive.

[No, this has absolutely nothing to do with her recent death - nope. Not at all.]

Coffee shop's open for business on the 1st floor. You can't miss it - it's right next to the training center so stop in and get your java fix sometime. Also, I guess if people want to help out, I def won't say no.

[It's not like it's a legit legit business with paperwork and things like paychecks. Makes things way less messy that way.]

One more thing before I forget - if I'm not around, I don't object to people doing their own thing as long as you don't burn it down or break everything and leave a mess in your wake. That happens and I'll find you and I will kick your butt. Don't think that I won't. Because I will.

[Or she'll call for back-up to do the butt kicking. DETAILS.]

I'll be here hanging out so stop in and say hi. We also have pie courtesy of Ned, so that's a thing. There's also non-caffeinated drinks like tea and decaf if caffeine isn't your thing.

Oh!If anybody's up for it, I'm totes looking for guinea pigs to test coffee things out on so just let me know if you're game.

[And with that that, she ends the feed and returns to setting up various colored coffee mugs behind the bar.]

"How about you leave me out of that taste-testing challenge, should you go through with it. That sounds more like it's up Clint's alley," Natasha drawls with a grimace, shaking her head in fond bemusement. "And it's not my favorite, but it's alright in small doses, I suppose."

"Your loss." She makes not to ask Clint, see if he wants to join Billy and possibly Bruce and whoever else she can wrangle. "I'm thinking more like mint, chocolates, apple... Maybe do a spin on a hot toddy or something. Caramel or toffee things - peanut butter."

Speaking of...

She's already moving behind the bar to throw together a caramel apple macchiato because that sounds delicious.

Natasha chuckles as she watches her work, sipping at her drink. "Well, I can see you're already finding your rhythm here. I should probably be a little surprised, but this really seems to suit you."

It definitely did something, occupied her mind in a far more positive way than hiding out in her room and avoiding everyone and everything. Although, that wasn't such a hot idea anymore - speaking of...

In an effort to try and be more open about everything and not box it all up, she should probably tell someone about the thing.

After she finishes the caramel apple drink. Totally. Yeah, definitely.

Putting it together, she makes a mini version of it to put down in front of Natasha. Just in case she wanted to try it. As a not taste tester.

Settling against the bar, she leans in a little - voice hushed. "I, um... I had a message on my bathroom mirror today."

The news has Natasha straightening up a little and eyeing her with a slight frown, because that's not good. And also potentially explains the tension she was picking up in the girl.

Mmm... Right. The who. She couldn't just leave it at that. Even if she wanted to, considering getting the original sentence was hard enough. "Will's mirror." She chokes slightly at getting out the two words, the message in the steam still prominent in her mind.
