Ok, I'll try and keep this short and sweet. There should have been a little gift outside your door in the form of chocolate with a nifty logo on it.

[A task that would have been ridiculously annoying if she hadn't had help in the form of one Percy Jackson.]

Since I've been here for like 6ish months, and it's clear I'm not going home any time soon - I figured I might as well do something semi-productive.

[No, this has absolutely nothing to do with her recent death - nope. Not at all.]

Coffee shop's open for business on the 1st floor. You can't miss it - it's right next to the training center so stop in and get your java fix sometime. Also, I guess if people want to help out, I def won't say no.

[It's not like it's a legit legit business with paperwork and things like paychecks. Makes things way less messy that way.]

One more thing before I forget - if I'm not around, I don't object to people doing their own thing as long as you don't burn it down or break everything and leave a mess in your wake. That happens and I'll find you and I will kick your butt. Don't think that I won't. Because I will.

[Or she'll call for back-up to do the butt kicking. DETAILS.]

I'll be here hanging out so stop in and say hi. We also have pie courtesy of Ned, so that's a thing. There's also non-caffeinated drinks like tea and decaf if caffeine isn't your thing.

Oh!If anybody's up for it, I'm totes looking for guinea pigs to test coffee things out on so just let me know if you're game.

[And with that that, she ends the feed and returns to setting up various colored coffee mugs behind the bar.]

Tea is more up Bruce's alley, but I can definitely see the appeal. I enjoy a good cup of peppermint tea every now and then.

[There's a hesitation talking about hot chocolate, the moments with Bucky in the kitchen dealing with his finding her body - how he'd made hot chocolate from scratch, '40s style, as something comforting.]

Cinnamon, really? Have you had homemade hot chocolate or the stuff from the packets?

I'd say I prefer tea when I want to relax and coffee when I want to wake up, given how...alert it can make you.

[ And peppermint tea is especially good when you're sick.

The hesitation is noticed, though...he doesn't interpret it as anything more than her simply considering what he's said. ]

Only the stuff from packets, which I imagine is something of a travesty. You should try the cinnamon, if you enjoy that particular spice, it adds an interesting depth to the drink.

[There's definitely some tea out there that would be willing to challenge his whole relaxing thing. She may not be a huge fan, but she could appreciate it. She's grateful that he's not like Natasha or Bucky - someone who would be more likely to call her out on that hesitation.

It's a nice change.]

I'd only ever had the stuff from packets before coming here. Definite upside to people from other decades. I'll have to try the cinnamon thing. Maybe add some in the next time I make a batch of hot chocolate.

[ Robin has been known to push and prod on occasion if he feels like someone is upset and needs to talk, but doesn't feel safe or comfortable being vulnerable. He's gentle about it, but of the mind that it's far better to speak than hold it in. Yet, he's also mindful of boundaries, and just who he can push a bit.

Something feels just slightly off with Darcy, but he's not sure it warrants questioning further. And sometimes it's far better to give someone a bit of room to breathe. If there is anything troubling her, she's likely been asked about it already, so he can be a reprieve of sorts. ]

If I may ask, what compelled you to start up this charming little shop? Something to do?

[Ahaha... Yeah. She keeps the answer vague-ish because it's a legit question. People don't really wake up one morning and say 'I think I'm gonna open up a coffee shop'. At least not the people she knew.]

I'd been thinking about it for awhile, kinda tossing the idea around. The whole mirror thing solidified it for me - something to do to stay busy. It was... [A beat.] It wasn't a great week for me so this just seemed like the thing to do.

[ Hearing that it wasn't a great week for her feels like an invitation to question her a bit further, but there is of course a chance she won't want to say much beyond that. ]

Were you alright?

[ Did anyone hurt you, is the question he wants to ask, but that seems like a bit too much all at once. ]

I, um... I died. [Could have died a second time if Bruce and Steve hadn't found her.] But it's okay, I'm okay. Everything's almost totally healed and -

[She'd had some time to deal with it - process it all and put away the parts of it she wasn't quite ready to face yet.]

And I opened a coffee shop. [Tada.]

[ He's at least been in Wonderland long enough to know how death works here, and not be utterly confused by what she's told him. Still, he worries for her, despite her being alive now.

He fears asking too much or dwelling on it might have an adverse effect, so he's careful about what he says, though he's frowning deeply: ]

Almost healed? You're...truly on the mend? Is there anything at all I can do?

[Yeah, that was the general reaction she was getting to telling people. She didn't want to make a big deal out of it, just glad the mirror hadn't decided to expand the taunt outside of Bucky.

With a small sigh, she gives a little nod at the question.]

I had a run in with two other mirrors of people from home after I revived. The bruises are gone and my ribs are almost back to 100%... I don't really think there's a whole lot that can be done other than waiting.

[At least on the physical front. She was still working on everything else - the coffee shop being a huge help with that.]

But, thanks for the offer. Seriously.

[ He'd be more worried if he thought she was alone here, without much support, but that's not the case, so hearing her assurance that she's on the road to healing, he does begin to truly relax. ]

If there's anything I can do, anytime at all, you need only ask.

Though I have no magic, or the sort of training others here in Wonderland possess, should you have need of it, I am quite good with a bow and arrow.

[ He smiles softly, hoping to help perhaps cushion the weight of what they're speaking about. ]

I will.

[She means it, honestly. It was a blessing and a curse to have so many people from home here, especially when things like this could possibly happen again. It could have easily been one of their mirrors instead of Will's that had killed her.]

And same goes to you if you need anything. I have a feeling things won't stay quiet for long since that just seems to be the pattern.
