[ When the video feed comes to life, Isaac is lounging on a rather plush chair looking far more smug than he ever has in his life. He's got a cup of tea balancing on one of the arm rests and next to it a plate of biscuits - quite the sweet tooth at the moment apparently. Two things stick out like a sore thumb - the amount of stubble on the usually babyfaced teenager and the white gauze pad above his eyebrow. Of course when "Isaac" opens his mouth it becomes apparent quickly that either A) Isaac has developed a European accent or B) this isn't Isaac. ]

I'll say, one moment I was smack dab in The French Quarter and then I found myself here and I haven't a bloody clue how it happened.

[ He purses his lips a bit indignantly before speaking again. ]

And while I have to assume the company here is far superior to the company I was forced to keep there - I'm not a big fan of this unbreakable boundary spell. I'd like to meet the witch that cast it.

[Michael doesn't know Isaac, so the face confusion that some of Wonderland's other patrons might soon experience, doesn't touch him.]

I am not entirely certain that it was a witch, but it is possibly some sort of magic.

[He frowns, then adjusts the camera; welcoming a new person, well, he's never done it before, and he knows arriving here can be disorienting.]

I am Michael. This is Wonderland.

[ Kol takes a bite of one of the biscuits as he listens to the helpful stranger. He doesn't offer a name in return after he swallows - he seems rather unfazed by the information that's offered to him. All that gives away his thoughts is the eyebrow that hitches up his forehead a ways. ]

So this, [ He gestures around him with the hand holding his cookie. ] you don't think it was a witch?

[ At least this guy is familiar with witches. ]

What do you think did it then, darling?

[His father. Michael was still under the belief, no matter how estranged a son he was, that anything and everything that has and ever will be created, was his father's doing.]

No, I do not.

[What Michael knew of witches was limited, and he knew Wonderland brought in all types. This strangers idea of magic and witches, might very well be completely different than his own.]

That, I can only guess on. What is your name?

[Michael doesn't care what it is, nickname or alter ego, he just needs something to call him by.]

Can you point me in the direction of whoever did this when you find out? I feel like a fish stuck in a bowl, just-- [ She twirls her finger, notices the tea, and decides to bite back any snarky remarks about stereotypes. It's just tea and an accent, Calista. Let it go. Don't try to be funny. ]

[ It'd probably break her brain to know he's a viking, wouldn't it? ] Sure can. [ No, what's in it for him? Besides, he doesn't want to hurt them, he wants to befriend them. ]

Actually, I'm currently staying there. I've got family that lives there. [ It's a bit longer than holiday. Kol offers her a smile before grabbing one of the tea biscuits off the plate. He gestures with it vaguely. ] But Mardi Gras can be fun... If you're celebrating with the right people. [ It's then that he decides to take a bite. ]

Man, I'm kinda jealous. [ He doesn't look that much older than her, so yeah, let's keep the viking stuff out of it. ] Nothing to do where I come from.

It doesn't seem like most people know the answer to that but apparently we're in Wonderland. [Katherine was still fairly new herself, but he was cute and he seemed familiar with witches at least to catch her attention]

[The shock on his face makes it clear enough that he recognizes her even though he doesn't seem familiar to her at all. A friend of Elena's maybe? Or someone who knows her, it could be either one and that makes her all the more curious. The moment he asks her to show him around, she just grins] Sure, you happen to be in luck since I am completely free right now. Which floor are you on?

[The words slip out just as Cami hits the button to reply, her eyes wide and fixed on the phone screen. She hadn't exactly gotten to meet the boy in the cabin, not properly, but of course she recognizes him. How could she not, when the guy had kept running his mouth despite Cami's best efforts to keep Klaus from killing him?

But the question is, does he recognize her? Cami's already gone through this with Elijah, and she's very aware that no one else will likely know who the boy is--including Davina.]

It wasn't a witch. [That much Cami is relatively sure of, and more importantly, hopefully her answer will earn one from him.] This is going to sound really weird--all of it, actually--but I need to know the last thing you remember before you came here. You said you were in the Quarter; not the bayou?

I'm sorry, have we met?

[ He's creeped around enough, he knows of her. Not that... They've met. He just knows she's friends with Davina and Klaus follows her around like a lovesick puppy. Pathetic. He almost feels bad for her that she has to deal with his controlling stuck up bastard of a brother.

He grabs one of the biscuits and takes a bite out of it, speaking once he's swallowed. ]

Don't take offense if I'm not entirely convinced that it wasn't a witch that cast the boundary spell. [ Seeing as witches cast spells... quite often. ]

Why would I be in the bayou? [ There are mosquitoes the size of horses out there, no way. ] I was on a date with Davina, werewolves attacked. [ He gestures to the gauze taped above his eyebrow with the biscuit. ] Tried to do me head right in.

[...normally, Hazel might have glossed over this post, as she did wish many others. Another new individual arriving. Complaining. Even the accusations of magic hardly warranted a second glance.]

[But mentions of the French Quarter?]

...you're from New Orleans?

[That captured her interest immediately; she had yet to speak to someone else from her home city.]

Well, blatantly I wasn't born there, but it's where I was living before this place. [ Clearly his accent places him somewhere from the UK... Probably. No one really gets the viking vibe from him, and honestly it doesn't surprise him.

Kol aims a friendly smile at her, it fades with his next words however. ]

[She hadn't been paying much attention to the network after everything with the Jabberwocky, but her ears perked up at two key words... French Quarter and Witch. The combo isn't something that's usually people are so open about, especially the ones she's met from other worlds.

Rather than outright ask him what she wants to know, she treads a little more cautiously. With her luck lately, the whole thing could just be a coincidence.]

I doubt it was a single witch - no one's that powerful.

[The Pie Maker does not get out much, so the likelihood of him recognizing anyone who doesn't spent copious amounts of time in the eighth-floor diner is exceptionally slim. Having been in Wonderland for close to a year, now, Ned does feel the obligation - a loathsome word - to bequeath a few tidbits of important information to the masses as soon as they've shown up on the Mansion's doorstep.

Of course, this guy looks confident enough in his surroundings already, but have a socially-awkward baker for good measure.]

[ An arched eyebrow raises as Kol offers the baker some quiet speculation - blue eyes calculating but not unfriendly in their attentiveness. ]

[ Pastries -- that's speaking Kol's language. And Lucky for Ned, the witch is just oozing with extroversion. Perhaps even a bit of a socialite, not that Kol cares about most things that are considered social norms. ]

[ There's a bit of time before he responds to this video. Mostly due to the fact he recognizes the face, but the accent and the mention of New Orleans means it clearly isn't Isaac.

And so, when he's in his room with a glass of scotch, he finally reaches out, curious about this supposed newcomer. ]

[ The smile he aims at Klaus is harsh and unkind and the way one of his arched eyebrows hitches up his forehead makes it clear that there's something taunting there.
